But statistically, this is just one player from a squad of 26. This XG does not translate to more than 1/26th of each sample size. Therefore your extrapolation is wrong.

If you are to measure approximate XG per player in each squad, average XG per squad may drop down to 0.2, making it the generally acceptable XG for penalties across the board.

Every penalty has an Xg of 0.8 without taking the penalty taker into account. Be it goalkeeper, defender or even the ball boys it remains fixed at 0.8. It's the shot in football with the highest xG. 80% of penalties result in a goal.

Penalty is not easy as you think. Foden shooting technique on pk is poor. The fact that Palmer do it easily doesn’t mean it is easy, it takes a lot of techniques.

Penalties are easy that's why they have an Xg is 0.8. 80 out of 100 times they go on. Am wasting my time on people arguing against basic maths.
