New screen for the device cost N23000. I adviced him to buy a used S3 for N15000. He eventually bought a work S3 for N16000, brought it to us and used the purchased on to fix his old phone.. Do you understand that? That's not my frustration. It is the frustration of Samsung users who couldn't handle their devices carefully. 1 Like |

Xiaomi products tend to me more reliable for me. I have used Samsung. I know what happens after a year of usage. Samsung is Not reliable. From S6 to S8. You get thin line in the screen without any reason. It gets hot too easy. Battery gets bad quickly and phone start turning off and on when not plugged. These are very common problem we receive here in our office. 6. Repair factor? Where are their customer care? At least Xiaomi in short time has. Xiaomi parts are sold in Nigeria. Although not as common as Samsung. But with customer service in Nigeria, it will be better. 7. Updates? This is one unique thing about Xiaomi brand. They support devices longer than many brand. They push update better than Samsung. Samsung focus more on their premium bands than others. Example, Xiaomi Mi 4 still received MIUI 9.6. A very old device. 7 Likes |

Promxy94:MIUI.. Few Reasons: As a heavy user, MIUI battery optimization will help you control which app should be hibernated. ( Remember Greenify: An app that requires Rooting + Xposed installer which help to save battery.) As an Internet user trying to save some data, MIUI has inbuilt firewall.. ( Remember Droidwall: An app that requires Rooting to block certain apps from accessing the Internet) It is easier to block disturbing SMS on MIUI. Reason why most of us don't bother checking incoming SMS received is because we feel the SMS must be from MTN or these service providers. MIUI helps to control that. Don't bother installing Parallel Space to use apps twice on single installation. Dual App feature work flawless on MIUI than what Samsung and Huawei offer recently. At least, you can duplicate any app instead of Samsung or hauwai pointing out app that are only supported. You love good production of music using a good headphone? Samsung is no way near MIUI Sound enhancer. Do your findings. Make it an experiment. 1 Like

Choice here to me is based on MIUI vs One UI. MIUI is the drive that makes me buy their device. Amold Display is the drive that makes me think of Samsung. For you, what is your drive in both smartphones? |

I changed my mind. Am retaining my Pocophone. I use SD card128GB and my phone's inbuilt is 128GB. Redmi K20 Pro doesn't have SD slot. It doesn't have inferred blaster which is why I waited and hoped for Poco F2 but unfortunately, no IR blaster. I can open my phone with no screen because I have mastered the fingerprint scanner position at the back. But this one having in-screen fingerprint will be difficult to easily locate the fingerprint area. I hate the pop up camera. One day, it will break or get stuck like our old VCD. This happens to those who always price price. Even when they know their friends bought for such amount. They will keep pricing until seller is forced to give a phone worth their price. Some will be pricing Samsung A30 as if they are buying itel here. I wish we had copy. I would gladly give them copy deliberately. Good cash gives good phone. Period! |

tecnolad:Personal experience Bro. Actually, my elder Bro uses Hauwai P9 My colleague was using Hauwai Y9 Prime or so before selling. My brother's friend is using Hauwai Mate P30 Pro. All these phones are fully reviewed by me. That's part of my job. I had done head to head comparison in terms of headphone production using a good earpiece. Even Samsung S9 couldn't match what Xiaomi gave me. Even Redmi 4A sounds far ahead of DST tech in hauwai P9. My colleague sold his Hauwai because of features offered better in Miui. If I need to point some of it. I will, if you want. In terms of design, Hauwai is always better. Hauwai looks sleek and fancinating though. But trust me, MIUI is a good experience 3 Likes

Just go for Xiaomi. Xiaomi is never a regret. In terms of music. Xiaomi has best enhanced sound quality when compared with hauwai, Samsung and iPhone ( personal comparison) In terms of features, MIUI wins. In terms of security, Hauwai ID is easier to unlock than Mi account. In terms of price, Xiaomi tend to be cheaper. In terms of user experience, both are the same 3 Likes |

ddjay:Samsung Screen cost more than half of the phone if it gets bad. But Xiaomi screen is far more cheaper when replacing. Xiaomi has Customer service centres all over Nigeria now. N75000 will give you Redmi Note 7 4GB/128GB inbuilt as advertised. And lastly and undisputed.. MIUI is also premium skin.. One sure thing about MIUI when compared to Samsung's Touvhwiz.. MIUI never lags after long usage. Touvhwiz gave Android a very bad reputation of lag in the history of android.. (Wikipedia)... When it comes to useful features offered by Android skins.. MIUI is still the best option with VERY useful features. I don't know for Samsung's new Skin called OneUi yet 1 Like |
