So I decided to try out my first Xiaomi device, and what better option than one of the few phones in the market with the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 grin
Fast forward last week Wednesday, I made an order with my oga himself, the dependable HRH Protein0. Made payment by transfer to him, he confirmed receipt and promised delivery by early this week.
Fast forward today, I received this damsel of a cellphone (3 and a half working days wink), right on time I must say (as bae wants to hijack my Lenovo Zuk Z2)
The phone came with an extra leather jacket and 2 tempered glass protector (courtesy of my oga carbohydrate, sorry, Protein0 himself).
There are quite a number of legit sellers on Nairaland, people you can be rest assured won't defraud you, even though you haven't met them before, and Protein0 is one of them.

A detailed review of the phone to come later wink

HealthRe: No End In Sight To My Medical Problems; I Might Be Dying Slowly by GogetterMD(m): 6:05pm On Jul 02, 2017
CrescentMoon:
The first time I became aware of me falling sick was in 2007. I was 26 at the time. Since then it has been a myriad of medical troubles.

It has been cycles of malaria, bacterial infections, disc problems and headache. Every night, I take drugs before I could be able to sleep. I always have antimalarials, antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants handy. If malaria symptoms occur, I would take antimalarials and there would be improvement within minutes. And would then complete the dosage in 3 days. By fourth day, symptoms of bacteria infection would occur; I would take ciprofloxacin and get relieved within minutes. Once I complete the dosage, headache would strike, and once aspirin is taken, I get well. But I would keep repeating aspirin every night until gastric ulceration sets in. I would then buy omeprasole and cimetidine to treat ulcer. While ulcer treatment is ongoing, malaria would strike again, and I would take antimalarials. If antimalarials don't work, I would know that the symptoms are bacterial and take antibiotic. If there is no relief, I would combine antimalarials and antibiotic and there would be a relief. It has been like this since 2007. I don't go to hospital again because I have grown to know these symptoms and what doctors would prescribe.

For the past 2 weeks, I have been battling 'herniated disc' problem in my lower back. It started the day I bent down suddenly and I heard a snapping sound at my back bone. I started using norflex, calcium supplement and diclofenac. I feel mild relief because I can't stop my daily hustle to rest while the disc heals. If I dont work in a day, I won't eat or pay bills.

Note that I undergo HIV test almost weekly.

How do the poor tackle medical problems in this hellhole of a country?

Lalasticlala, please help me move this to fp.
You need to see a rheumatologist and get screened for connective tissue disorders

I used an LG home theatre before and intend to get a Samsung soon. reasons:
1. Samsung has a superior sound quality
2. the version of Samsung am going for has Bluetooth.
3. Samsung gadgets are rugged
my personal observation sha.
sir, if you have the cash go for the Samsung which I guess should be around 45k while its cousin the Lg goes for about 35k.make your choice!
It's all a matter of choice. Both of these products offer the same or similar features, with LG being a little cheaper on the average

Northern Provincial Schools are also exempted because of inadequate information/recorded history. Examples include;

Katsina Provincial Secondary school (Government College, Katsina) (1930)?!
You missed out Christ's school, Ado-ekiti

If there is no fire or immediate threat best bet is to allow paramedics handle the situation unless they can not be reached. Many accident victims surffer more damage from people seeking to help them than from the accident its self. But this attitude of snapping and posting photos on the internet? Horrible, terrible and evil.
Very true. Esp in cased of suspected spine or head injuries.
But they could assist those with minor injuries though
