Nd u knw hw queues go in Nigeria. Once d natural order is scattered like ds, na hustling remain. Bt d conversion staff shld chill for us na, thy cnt be as grieved like d GTs for obvious reasons.

Any attempt for me to be more explicit than what I wrote might result to me divulging information that's internal and may not be understood by anyone who is not in the system.

The simple analogy is this, 2016 GT program ended in September 2018 and that paved way for 2019 GT program. There was no fresh recruitment between 2017-2018 other than what started in 2016. In essence, if not until January Service Executive Conversion Program (Season 4) is concluded, there won't be room for (Season 5) which Ceteris Paribus, was expected to have kicked off, the second half of this year.

At d moment, d conversion staff are nt in TS
So hu wil thy reach out to 1st, GTs or Conversion staff?
I feel its GTs cos d recent email we received from them says d GT onboarding process is still ongoing

I learnt a guy was dropped (not posted) after the training because he could not reach the cut off point.

Its obvious the approval process is too lengthy, i already suspected the 'go-slow' is not the recruitment team's fault. Those dt finishd TS over a month ago ar stil waitin for thr posting letter and am sure it has to do with 'approval' too.

I already made 2 major decisions thinkin i wil b in TS by now but life is all about contingencies anyway.

As much as d mail suggests that d onboarding process cn kick off anytym, the hr team wil hv an idea of wen, it wil jst be unprofessional to disclose that info wich brngs me to the 'next year' rumour wich cn be very true.

So i guess the best frame of mind shld be to expect anytn bt nt soon (A possible D n M this year nd resumption nxt year).

The silence is getting rather frustrating and to make proper plan sef is anoda case because one is not sure when the training will be but we are still keeping cool because ofcourse they said "in due course".

D purpose of d mails is to get an update if we wont be contacted anytym soon. Ofcourse, they wldn't need to send an update if we wil be called soon.
Anoda purpose of d request mail is incase they think we are relaxed nd an update is nt rly necessary

We could place a call to the recruitment team through the phone number in the reassurance mail. I called about 2 weeks ago, the respondent replied that the process will commence soon, with no specified date.

I did too, d woman sounded like a secretary behind the desk. I do not think she's part of the recruitment team. But u cn still call sha, i cn be vry wrng, she may be wit al d answers

Ok, lets make it Monday btwn 9am nd 12pm,Pls, y'all shld try send it to both addresses in d reassurance mail, d address on d congratulations mail is unreachable. The msg shld b short and concise with the subject in capital letters. Pls, let all of us send and if u r skeptical abt sending a mail, simply use anoda email address, d point is volume of mails. D more d msgs, d better our chances of getting a positive feedback.
I feel exactly as Sonship feels and some kind of fixed date weda ds yr or early nxt year will definitely restore my sanity.

Lets all try sending an email to them tomorrow b4 12pm kindly requesting for an update on proposed date for TS resumption for better planning. Maybe our voices together will be heard.

I think the 'Congratulations' mail we received in June shld av stated smtn like 'later this year' or 'early next year' (if dt shld b d case) rather than 'commencing soon'. The reassurance mail shld nw be entering arnd ds period.
After thinking about this whole issue critically, i realised the mails raised our expectation higher than it should av been (unless they are running behind schedule).

Anytn short of a D&M mail in a week or two wont be in tandem with the previous mails we av received.

Unfortunately, if dt shld b d case, most of us dnt av d luxury of taking offence bt at least, owed an update regarding the new development. Its jst basic ethics.

I v calld both numbers sent to us, asked series of questions nd i culd nt get any tangible info. I noticed the persons at the oda end do not know more than we do, not that dey do not want to divulge any info. So it seems no decision has bn taken about us.

So my fellow "waiters", i honestly dnt knw wt to say to calm nerves down including mine, I fear the worst already. All i cn say is 'What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"

Yh, anytn TS nd first batch finished today. Other things being equal, a set shld hv resumed at thr various branches on Mon, anoda set to resume nxt week nd d last set completed TS today.
Gettin a D nd M mail later ds week, to hold nxt week nd consequent TS mail later ds month is not too much to ask.

I sent an email to the the address that sent the reassurance mail and i specifically asked abt d rumours that we will be resuming next year. He said the rumours are unfounded and we wil be contacted in due course.
I guess their due course means wen thy ar completely done wit d first batch.

Pls, lets try to answer some of the following questions objectively

What are the possible reasons why TS nxt batch cannot resume few weeks after the current batch is done?

Why has it been difficult to get some concrete info?

Someone or a group of persons make the decision on when we resume, if a date has not been fixed yet, at least, they should hav an idea wen resumption will be. So the question is, what is that ' idea of wen' and hw cn we get it?

This is a small world, thr shld b som1 dt knw som1 dt knw som1 dt knw som1 dt can gv us some concrete news. So pls if u r dt person, abeg help us get d info.

Personally, am one of those pple that have bills to pay, therefore, need to make some decisions now for financial reasons.
