KennedyF:
Hello everyone,
Bear with me pls, this might be a long read and I apologise in advance for any grammatical error.

Recently I've had a lot of thinking about my life after school, how I can finally support my family after I graduate this year, I am the first son and the first child in my mom's extended family, so I have a lot of people looking up to me, and we only have one source of income in my family which is my dad, and recently he developed a health condition which affects his eyesight, and that is making his work nearly impossible.
The problem now that I'm facing is that I literally don't know what I want to do after school, normally I've had this notion that I will cross that bridge when I reach there, but now the bridge is so close and I have no idea of how to cross, to make things worse, I saw my result this semester and I failed two courses which will make me to come back for an extension, it makes me sad whenever I think about it, cos my dad will have to continue his risky job (thats even riskier cos of his eyesight) for a year or so
Sad part is that I can't even think of any side job that might be profiting me while in school or any work that I can do without a certificate, my friends aren't giving me anything useful, I wanted to learn graphics design, I'm passionate about editing photo and videos, I also wanted to learn animation back when I was in secondary school, but my parents killed that dream telling me to go for a professional course, back then they were still thinking school is the only answer to being successful, now I regret allowing them to let that passion die.
Right now I need you guys advice if you have any concerning my situation, or if you've being in a similar situation like mine, I need to know how you made it out successfully

I will accept your criticism, advice and whatever piece of info you can share with me
You can learn a lot of skills with GoLearn. Just 20k and you can even earn while learning. I can show you how

It seems Mr. Livincon doesn't want anyone to win it. On the 9th of June, this offer expires.
Typical Blackman mentality. He won't say a thing so long he's not the one benefitting from the giveaway. Just give it to whoever your heart choses boss.

The motive behind this Edu Platform?

** The conventional school in Nigeria can mostly not be likened to a place to get Education(expecially financial education) except in few occasions when you study professional courses or skilled course that can directly applicable to modern day life. Even in such scenerio, you still have to equip yourself with some basic financial management skills to act as another stream of income, save money( healthy saving) and have investment of which you have full management over(not some Ponzi schemes that will end up scamming you)

Good day Educationlander.

It's no doubt that Education is fast scaling new levels in most developed countries and Nigeria seems to be far behind.

The purpose of going to school for many is to get Education and knowledge that will be able to change their financial lives and make them to live the kind of live they have projected for themselves.

It's sad that we don't have curriculum that does that takes that into cognizance. The whole curriculum being taught in college and beyond can not even be applied to the world of today not to talk of making cool money with it.

I'm Medical student, trust me I know how shitty and exhausting the whole schooling system can be in Nigeria because I'm having my own fair share now grin

Okay, let's talk about it about how GO LEARN can scale that for you.

PS; Even if you are already working or out of school and you want something practical that'll get fetch you money even as you learn. You can tap into the spirit too and flow along.

People think crypto is a get rich quick scheme, not realising it's like stock market on steroids. It's susceptible to the laws of demand and supply. The only difference is the rapid fluidity and exponential growth potential. Lots of people will be kicking themselves in 10 years for not investing in crypto.
You are right. Absolutely.
Just like people who missed Bitcoin 5years ago are now. Darn!

Don't mind the guy. He wants to get rich quick using 10k because he heard crypto flies to the moon in short time grin
You are right grin
That's what burns most people in Crypto actually. They come with the Ponzi scheme mentality and ends up getting burnt

There was one guy I got Ethereum worth of 50k for last month. He was asking me the ROI he will see from it every month. I told him it depends on a lot of things and the rise in the value of Ethereum. The guy was confused grin

If you are a true crypto trader you wont say this nonsense.

You can actually lose your money in crypto for real. Some people havent recovered from the 2018 crash till today 2021. How is hat rising back.

Infact many projects that were promising lost it way back. Xrp was briefly delisted on major exchange almost becoming useless to holdres

Infact binance may not wake with other people tomorrow. It has happened before. If you not ready to lose 150% (the 50% for emptional trauma) dont do crypto.

Dont even let me start on the TVM. time value of money. .
Who's saying nonsense. Lol

Xrp getting delisted doesn't mean it won't moon in the future if it remains a solid project. You are the one with little knowledge. This is not a crypto thread by the way and I won't like to derail.

I'm not saying you won't lose on Crypto. What's I'm saying is that with knowledge and experience, you'll gain much more than you'll lose. There is no financial liberation instruments that doesn't have their own element of risk and I'm surprised you don't know that.

N10,000 someone dashed me was invested on cryptocurrencies.

Just under 2 hours, the value of the alternate coin I purchased reduced drastically. cheesy

Lost it all. Lesson learnt. I'll find something more valuable and reliable to dive into. Man must survive.
Cryptocurrency is no scam though. But scam project exist in cryptocurrency. I'm a crypto trader myself and your due diligence must be conducted before investing in any coin or token.

I'm not saying a good coin or token can't reduce your money but they'll always rise back up after some period of time and give you more profit than you imagine if you are able to hodl.

As an experienced Man in the industry of Ponzi schemes(I used to be a firm believer in some Ponzi schemes too till I was shenked). I've to realize that they are all bound to fail and are only legit as long as they can pay some people.

Several Ponzi scheme have come and gone leaving millions of Nigerian in abject poverty, promising them outrageous returns in order to rip them of their hard earned money. Sometimes I just wish a Ponzi scheme can start and they will be forced to close up because nobody has interest in them but no, Nigerians keep investing with these thieves only for them to be scammed time and time again sad

These are some of the reasons why you should stay away from Ponzi schemes/ Investment schemes that promises high Returns

1. They'll go to any extent to hoodwink you into trusting them before they show you who they really are;

This is very common with Ponzi scheme, most of them don't mind spending money to make them look like a saint in the initial stages of these schemes. Don't fall for it. This is just to gain the trust of people temporarily before they release the noose on their necks.

They will go as far as paying celebrity (just like Racksterli) to market these schemes, forging certificate from several board too, paying huge referrer bonuses to get greedy marketers to market these schemes for them. All these are there antics to get greedy Nigerians onboard to those Schemes.

2. Most of these Ponzi scheme are created by Online fraudster who uses them as a way to accumulate undue wealth;

Ponzi schemes are manufactured by Online fraudsters that are not fazed about leaving a lot of people in tears to accumulate undue wealth to themselves.
Some chose to remain anonymous while the bold ones will reveal their identity to scam Nigerians because they know the system is weak and they won't be prosecuted about it. Nigerians will even cheer them up for their money in the later future.

3. The mentality of an average Nigerian is forever ingrained in all of these CEOs(Trust nobody grin) ;

Nigerians are different set of breeds and a lot of Nations have us in a bad light because of the actions of the powerful Nigerians. There is a saying that "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"- John Dalbag. I cant agree less. A lot of money gives power and power will mess these people up and make go Scot free with your money and you won't be able to do a thing. I can never and will never involve in any invesment scheme of a Nigerian cos most Nigerians will only whine about their leaders being bad leaders and bad financial managers and they'll do worst if given the chance.

A lot of invesment CEO's after managing investment for a little way, you see them acquiring luxurious things and living large with people money. Of course, the next thing we hear after then is Crash grin

4. Ponzi scheme won't allow your growth in the appropriate capacity;

A lot of people that does Ponzi scheme limits themselves. They depend on these schemes to give them the passive income they can generate on their own. You hear statement like "it's new, let's take advantage of it", "they are still paying". Till it ends in tears and gnashing of teeth and another Ponzi scheme comes around.

Why do all these pyramid schemes when you can generate the returns these Ponzi scheme gives you and more if you invest in yourself. You can learn to trade the financial market, you can do affiliating, you can freelance, dropshitting and other ways of passive income. You just have to learn first and then you'll earn from these things.

Spend money on knowledge, expand your horizons, test the waters, it might not be smooth but gradually, you will be able to generate wealth for yourself online.

5. Add Yours wink
