2014 ends today and I must confess nairaland and nairalanders have bin awesome, I really enjoyed myself......if u ask me ? i think its better for her to come to dubai,get a job and be sponsored by the company so she is not tied to u. thats wat i did. came in with a one month extendable visa, got a job and am being sponsored by my employers. i think its d best bet.

but ur not even married yet. when you get to the bridge ,you ll definitely know how to cross it.

Ok. So why are you bothering yourself about spousal sponsorship in the uae now? Truth is that it might be easier for your wife to get a job herself in Dubai and be sponsored by the company. Not saying you will not be able to sponsor her in 3 years time, but no one can really predict or speculate about the future in this part of the world. Just the other day I heard one country is about to begin mass deportation of a lot of lawful residents because they are just too many and they exceed the locals in numbers (is it Oman? Will search for it)

i understood all what yu av said. my plan is to move to another place after some years in dubai, bt we never can say, somthin myt hook me down in dubai, so m jst trying to have an idea of how sponsoring spouse is. I also tot of her coming, get a job nd let a company do the sponsoring of a thing.

nd am only coming to hustle, to get a work and i av good plans for business. money made will go into by pending agric business back home.

The accomodation should not even be the main issue. You need a job that pays very very well before you can think about sponsoring your spouse. If you are so interested in being with your wife then I suggest you start thinking of another country with more relaxed rules

pls who are those people that have married here how easy is it to bring a spouse over to dubai? by God's grace, am coming over to dubai nxt year nd for marriage, i still av some years to go, mayb(2018). cuz someone was telling me a room is about 2500dhm/month(this made me wanna shit), which is almost one month salary. 2018 is still long, bt very much in my plans.

To get a spousal visa for madam in Dubai emirate you need to be earning more than 4000 or 3000 + accommodation. Once all that's sorted then you can apply for an entry permit at the immigration office for her to join you. Documents you will need are attested Labour contract, dewa Bill, tenancy contract and ejari certificate, plenty passport size photographs, copy of your wife's passport, attested marriage certificate, Emirates id application form showing you've paid the fees and in the process of obtaining I'd card for your Mrs. and certain fees which I honestly can't remember how much.

Once all verification is done you will be issued with a pink entry permit for your wife which she will use to come into UAE. She will then do medical, obtain medical results and then you can use this along with all above mentioned docs to apply for residence visa on her passport.

it hapd 2 my younger broda too.we warned him nt 2 embark on journey.he did nt listen to us so wen he go there,job he did nt see though he z a graduate and evenually,his visa expired nd he startd payin 4 d extra days he spent.he was lata arrestd nd we had to snd money frm here 2 pay all d debt.pls i don.t advice anybody to go there because he thlnks he can secure a job there.

but some people went their nd they were able to secure job... it all depends on luck
