One hundred and eighty four ward chairmen of YPP in the state have been inaugurated.

Inaugurating the members during the YPP political Rebirth/inauguration of ward chairmen/workshop on BVAS held at ODU hall 46/47Kaduna street by Calabar road Umuahia,the chairman YPP Abia state, Mr Chimex Nelson Uluocha charged the members to see their position as vital for the progress of the party in the state pointing out that their duty must be executed in line with the party's constitution.

He called on them to galvanize people to join the party assuring them that the necessary logistics will be provided to enable them deliver.

Mr Uluocha further assured them that the party's constitution will be made available to them to guide their operations adding that the party has come to stay in the state .

In his speech, the YPP secretary in the state comrade Uzodinma Nwoko congratulated the ward chairmen and enjoined them to support their chairmen revealing that YPP is not a hidden party in the state while urging them to make commitment to the party their watchword.

Speaking the former YPP Governorship candidate ,chief Joseph Nkoroh expressed happiness that the party is still waxing very strong in the state and expressed hope that YPP will win the 2023 Abia governorship seat.

In his contribution, the Obingwa party chairman Mr Elemanna Ginikanwa appealed to the state leadership of YPP to assist them to secure a party office.

Responding on behalf of other ward chairmen, the ward chairman Umuimenyi ward in Bende LGA, Mr chikezie Onuoha pledged that they will do their best to deliver on their mandate and solicited support from the state to succeed.

The event featured lecture on BVAs delivered by the chairman Mr Chimex Uluocha, party's constitution by the state legal Adviser of the party Barr. Mrs A C Chukwunyere,parts History, Programmes And Activities delivered by the state publicity secretary of the YPP, comrade Nnaemeka Isaac , while the chairman Mr Uluocha and the state working committee later took group photograph with members of the various local government.
