My uncle who lived in north told us how igbo were the main target.
He told us how some of the youths of the village are the ones leading the boko boy to igbos houses and shops killing them.

In one of the incident,they killed one igbo man then igbo men in that area gathered to plan on how to send the corpse
back home,on the meeting these same boko boy came and open fire on them killing more them twenty there.

The one that forced my uncle to leave north till this day was when his best friend and his servant was killed in their home.
