Visa application form? I am not sure you are supposed to upload that since you filled out the same form online. The documents you uploaded at TLS are to be attached to the same form. Is that not?

If I want to travel a week before the expiration of my current passport, do you think I'll still need to hold a new one, or do I need to show evidence that I am in the process of getting another one? If I need to show evidence that I have started processing another, what can I show?
or so far I have my BRP letter to show that I am changing my Vignette to BRP upon arriving in the UK, I do not need to show a new passport in this case.

Also, please is there a reason I can't schedule a biometric appointment? Though there are dates available and I am able to select them, when I click "Yes" to confirm the date and time, I get the attached response...Is the TLS website having some issues?

Should I just answer "NO" and move on, or add my children's details here? Note, I am the main applicant and I have my own visa already.

Congratulations sir. I paid for super priority and I still haven't gotten decision email. Calls to UKVI office reported to have sent in decision since last Friday. I need to travel before October 1st else I'll likely have an issue with my employer in the UK.

Hello Everyone,

After a long wait, almost 5-months, I finally received my visa yesterday, but then, my passport is expiring in early November 2022. I had over 6 months on my passport when I submitted my application in April.

I have started the process of renewing my passport in Nigeria before traveling, as I am planning to travel in late November or the first week of December, by which time the current passport on which the visa was stamped would have expired, but I'll have the new one as well.

I want to be sure this won't be an issue at POE or when collecting BRP.

Please advise.

Only that I have applied to NOUN already. I read that if you are evaluating HND, you must send ND too. Is this correct?

So what I have done is to request for evaluation of PGD and HND on WES, but filled my HND start date from the date (year) I started my ND and end/graduation date with the year I completed the HND. Then I will be sending a transcript that comprises both the HND and ND records (its same school, so the transcript would be coming in one document).

I'd advice you to evaluate your ND & HND. Those will give you "two or more certificates". Don't stress yourself with the NOUN thing.

The waiting is something else...especially when you're seeing people that applied almost a month after you receive their visas

but what is there to do now, we wait. I am sure it shall end in praise in Jesus name.

One of my dependants' passport wasn't ready, so I had to do mine first, so they can apply later. Now the passport is ready and we are all here just waiting on mine to come out first before I submit theirs.

Hello @Maplechick and other gurus in the house, please help.

So, I have been able to pay for WES, and now need to request and send my credentials. I learned it can be fast if I used ETX.NG so I contacted them, and here is what I was told. Please advise:

1. That I would need to pay N57,650 for each transcript (ND, HND, PGD) = N172,950
2. Once the credentials get to WES (even through ETX.NG), WES would still send mail to my school for second-level verification, now I think this is where schools ask for money again before responding to WES. Is this correct?
3. Now, calculating this together, it will be about N200,000 + $250CAD paid to WES = ~N320,000

Please what can I do?
Who had gotten transcripts from Open University to WES before, how was the experience?
Who had sent transcripts from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to WES before, how long did it take you in total?

NB, if I am to try to get the credentials myself, it will cost, ~N70,000 for MAPOLY (ND + HND + courier + email verification), and N25,000 for NOUN, given ~N100,000, but I am kind of feeling somehow about the timeline it might take for the credentials to get to WES eventually.

Please advise.

The extra expense will only come from getting the transcript and sending it to WES if it's not from same institution. It's best to gather all the points one can gather in this journey. Best of luck!

Thank you. I was thinking that since I am sure I am going for Provincial Nomination, which will give additional 600 points, I should be fine with the PGD alone.

Evaluate all, note that one of your program has to be 3 years at least to be qualified for 2 or more certificate 128 points.

Please I need your advise.

I recently wrote IELTS and scored a band 8 (L8.5, R8.0, W7, S7.5).

I am planning to evaluate my certificate, and this is where I need advise. I have ND, HND and PGD, and I'll be seeking provincial nomination because age is not on my side like that.

Now, is it OK to evaluate just my PGD alone or I need to evaluate all ?

Note: I have my PGD certificate ready, but I'll need to apply for the ND and HND, and thinking of how long it might take, I am seriously considering just going with the PGD alone. But then, I want to be sure I am making the right choice here.
