Do you know update mail and SMS were sent again this evening ?. And the guy that predicted it said those with open portal are the successful ones .

Don't you think is about time we believe him and call spade by its name ?

Never prepare for the interview you never call for. Wait for the invitation first so that you will not have to commit suicide if DPR do not call you.

Without any iota of being michevious , you seldom get one test taker in a group of 20 test takers in the north whose portal is open and got the SMS and mail for update . If the shortlist is going to be zonal base , then there is every tendency that most of the info here do not hold water really .

Secondly , It is better we keep our rumours to our selves as most of them turn out to be untrue . Some people here gave a date when the invite will start rolling with 100% assurance , the date came and passed and nothing like that happen and they're still coming up with some rumours with 100% assurance again , forgive me if I sounded hash at this juncture , but only unserious people will take such a person very seriously .

I wish everybody in this forum a success mail regardless of his/her portal status .

Honestly Mr neo am so very anxious to get feedback from dpr , those with open portal seem to weaken almost everybody with their speculations.
Some of them went as far as quoting some dpr directors and assistant directors as their sources .

I never missed your post probably because it always carried with it a soothing relief content .

When the application portal of the Kaduna state internal revenue became closed, my sister keeps seeing closed each time she tries to login, I just concluded to her that she's out of the race because the same thing happened with some people in dpr recruitment exercise . On 7th Nov. 2017 after she had resigned to fate , she got the reminder that she's scheduled to write an online aptitude test on 8th Nov. around 11am. she got 61% and on the 9th her login along with others who scored as much as 83% got closed.

So lets continue to pray hard and love one another.

we all want this job and God willing we'll get it and get to meet each other in dpr documentation and training .

I applied the Kaduna state internal revenue service, I was invited for the test and I did it, my result came out instantly; 74%. The next day the portal was closed. I sure know I would be invited for interview.

Let us wait till DPR decide. Meanwhile get busy with other things.

Guy it's test portal that was closed immediately after every individual test. but application portal remain closed before invitation for the test.

The nape conference is ending 23th November. Being a regulatory agency in the oil and gas industry I doubt if dpr is a member of that Association.

If anything will happen regarding inviterview it's probability going to be in January just like what one of the dpr helpline respondents said sometime last week.

As for the speculations of who will get invite and who will not because of the current application status, I think so many wrong conclusions were made here . If there are dpr hapefuls here in this forum who are from Kaduna state should go and find out what snapnet did in the just concluded Kaduna State Internal Revenue recruitment aptitude test. All test takers login were closed just a day after the test .And I think that is how they've been doing it and dpr will not be an exception .

I pray for you ,me and every other person in this forum to not only make it to the next stage but to have the opportunity of getting employed by dpr .

I think he's being too reserved . Remember a deadline was given to those required to make an update which has since elapsed and they are still having access to their portals .

I think if what they (dpr)always claimed about this portal saga is anything to go by, by now all portals would've been closed even if regret and success mails/sms have not started rolling OK?.

Am not saying it is over yet rather am just applying my small logic to say their response was merely a HR gimmicks .

If you call them and said you received the mail asking you to update, who ever is responding to you at the other end will sound almost congratulatory to you .

If you dont believe it try it .

I called one of the agent via DPR contact address,he personally told me that those that HV their portal closed HV a complete requirements in their application,and mail were sent to others to update theirs,as all portals must be closed before d next stage,once the update is done,they close urs,he equally said once all these are done,mail will flow for interview. So no panic. Pray.God will choose whosever he wants.Good evening.

I've never seen a recruitment exercise that rnveloped the fate of applicants such as this . Nobody has been able to come up with any reliable info so far . I don't know your source and how powerful it's , but many people in their posts whose portals are open or still accessible if you like said the same thing with you and went not without counter argument from those with closed portals .

My Father's friend who is currently working with the department confirmed to us that there are no more than 2-3 staffers that can give you an authentic info about this recruitment . He advised that we should jettison rumours as they aren't (,rumours) authentic and wait for Snapnet response via dpr whatever .

Are you sure Machini ? Ok did he tell you why they(dpr) are angry ?.Is it the Applicants that made them angry or the consultant?.

And since you said he's a Bigwig in dpr, ask him to clear the air regarding applicants status . Because the last time I checked HR technics in responding to Applicants , ''Application Status Closed'' simply means the position has either been taken or occupied by someone or it dosnt exist anymore . Though this is quite different from our APC

Fresh from a Confirmed "sauce". This is coming from my uncle who is a top boss in DPR. He said DPR is not taking anybody again. They have vexed. Both ppl with their portal still opening and those with portal closed, they are not doing again.

Update your profile as instructed by DPR simply means give us your current information. Since you applied almost one year ago, your address, qualification, experience, referree e.t.c may have changed.

Many people did not have to add or remove anything on their portal.

Why is this too difficult to understand?

Just check the meaning of the word "update" in your dictionary.

I honestly find your posts from the beginning of this exercise to date as unsavory and a flagrant display of ignorance and immaturity . You always act in a manner that makes it extremely difficult for someone to believe that you are a graduate . You keep contradicting your self in your series of unreliable information. And in each of them you tend to attribute some iota of certainty and assurance despite the fact that they are in sharp contrast with one another .

Please try as much as you can to be an onlooker because only thus you can preserve your image and dignity .

Confirm, dose dat recieve email/sms for profile update are the d successful merit people according to the information given to a friend of mine whose oga is a dpr big wings. For d portal closed issues, he doesnt knw abt dat.

There are some questions everyone seems to have failed to ask;
1. Why is it that some applicants' profiles were open some weeks ago but got closed immediately after editing their profile. For instance, my portal was open on that fateful Friday but I did not do any editing till the following Monday. Alas, two hours later after I changed one of my referees, my portal got closed. why?
2. Some persons were sent messages to edit their profile on or before 27th, perhaps, today is 31st and according to them their profiles are still open and editable. Yet, DPR did not send any message announcing extension of the deadline (27th) neither did they close their portal nor the editing option. why?

The number 2 question calls for concern, as I am yet to fathom the reason behind DPR's silence on the deadline for editing of profile. No extension notice, no closure of editing option, no closure of profile.

SAME HERE. JUST THAT I DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING AND ON MONDAY AROUND 3:43PM IT WAS CLOSED. JUST AS ONYIRIDIKE PUT IT . MAY BE THEY DECIDED TO REDUCE MORE CANDIDATES PER STATES OR SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE PORTALS.

MAY GOD HELP US AS WE AWAIT THEIR REPLY .

You are right . But not as much as 3,000 so I heard from another source , and that open or close portal isn't really a determining factor
for proceeding to the next stage or otherwise .

Thank you ma'am. Lol, yes I did promise but this new development got me a bit anxious and I had to comment again. It's not a training, it's a semi-permanent posting, which means I could stay up to 4 years or more outside the shores of the country. Of course, I dont intend to resign until I get an appointment letter and probably commence documentation with DPR. However, I'm concerned about missing the interview due to my unavailability. I would rather I attend the interview and try my best than miss it outrightly. My present employer is great but remains a private coy that can disengage at will. Like you said, I can only join others in prayer hoping the interview will hold next month. Thanks again.

My office just informed us today that some of the staff will be posted to our international operations in the USA, Spain, UK, South Africa or Kenya. My name appeared on the list although I'm yet to know the particular country I may be posted to until Nov. 6th when postings will be effected.

As a result of this new development, I just called the DPR to explain my situation. Once I leave the country, returning without the company's directive (i.e for any personal purpose) will mean I will have to bear the cost of flight ticket all by myself and even risk a cut in salary. The lady who spoke with me at DPR was very polite but said she cannot a particular timeline for the interview. The only thing she said was "if it is not this november, then it has to be January because it can definitely not be december". She understood my dilemma but couldnt say much and just advised me to pray we are invited next month. I should be happy right now but I'm indifferent.
