I want to respond to the brother who said it is not by force to serve God and that one should collect his life and live the way he wants. I strongly believe that he made this statement out of ignorance. If he is married and has given birth to a child, can he allow that child to live the way he wants i.e. assuming he has a girl-child and that girl-child of 12 years want to live her life as a prostitute, would he, as the father, allow that? Secondly, no man has his own life. We all owe our lives to God who created us and every other living thing. God created main in His own image and likeness. (Genesis 1:27). God gave us life. He formed man out of the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils and man became a living being - Genesis 2:7. So, if you do not serve the One who created you and without whom none of us humans can exist or survive, who else are you going to serve? Man never created himself, so we all owe our lives to God whether you like it or not and are therefore under obligation to serve Him.

Many of those those who shoved God aside and never believed in Him were forced by circumstances beyond their control - especially when they are terribly sick and have no hope of survival or have terrible motor accidents and have no hope of survival or under very serious challenges, then they remember God and call on His name to save them and that is too late. It is better to identify with God NOW and save your life from eternal destruction, because God will eventually destroy this wicked world and all the wicked men and women, so the earlier you identify with God through Jesus Christ, the better.

Masturbation is a sin. The only form of sex God allows is sex in marriage. Anything short of this is sin against God. Is non-smoking in the Bible? No, but smoking is dangerous to one's health and pollutes the body. God cannot operate in the life of a smoker whose life is completely polluted, that is why one needs to abstain from smoking. Must one pay tithe? It is one of God;s principles of prosperity for his children. Malachi 3:10. I will respond to the issue of marrying two sisters or more than one wife later. Thanks.

I ask this question because a few days ago, a man impregnated two sisters and when they gave birth, he took them to a Church for dedication and the Church actually dedicated them, thus giving tacit approval for the marriage of the two sisters. Indeed, the two sisters are twins and this is not the first time it has happened. So, what is your take on this. Is it scriptural or biblical?

Can a Christian marry two sisters as Jacob did to Leah and Rachael? Is there anything wrong about it? What is your take on this issue?

The responsibility of bringing up children in the way of the Lord is squarely placed on the parents (Prov. 22:6). Noah and his wife lived in a world overwhelmed with extreme violence and wickedness. No thanks to the activities of the fallen angels who left their heavenly abode and came to the earth to take daughters of men for wives and gave birth to abnormal giants who caused untold violence and wickedness never experienced before since the creation of the world at that time. (Gen. 6:1-4) ,yet Noah and his wife were able to shield their children from the ungodly and wicked influences of the world at that time and brought up their children in the way of the Lord.

Beloved, what is happening these days? Most parents have completely abandoned their responsibilities of bringing up their children in the way of the Lord perhaps due to pursuit of economic activities or worldly pleasures or complete laziness. Most parents do not even know what their children are doing let alone discipline them when they go wrong. Some even attack or fight the teachers who help to discipline their spoilt children in school thus encouraging their wards to become a fire that will eventually consume them. Most of the crimes committed these days are mostly carried out by the youths. Cult and kidnapping gangs emerge almost on a daily basis. Some even call themselves "the one million boys" causing mayhem everywhere they go. Sexual immorality - fornication, rape, homosexuality and lesbianism are committed freely in our schools right from the Primary School level. Hard drugs, marijuana, etc are no longer new to our children. So, parents, what are you doing to the children God has entrusted into your care?

God will surely hold we parents accountable for the misdeeds of our children. Neither the parents nor the children who fail to identify themselves with the Lord will not be spared. Please, I beg of you, my beloved parents, do not leave your children alone. Bring them close to you, monitor their activities, teach them the way of the Lord (Eph 6:1-4) and it shall be well with you in the name of Jesus.

Are you one who rejoices at the fall of your fellow brother or sister? Do you think you are so spiritually strong that you can never fall? Do you realize that every Christian has his own strong points and weak points and that what causes Brother 'A' to fall may not cause Brother 'B' to fall and vice versa?

Lucifer was one of the Arch Angels of God. He was in the presence of God, praising Him all the time, but he fell and became Satan the Devil? (Isaiah 14:12-15), Rev. 12:7-12). Adam and Eve were created by God directly, not born of any human and completely free of sin at the time of their creation, but they fell through disobedience. (Gen.3:1-6). David, whom God referred to "as the King after mine heart" and who had the movement of the power of God in his life right from his youth also fell - he committed adultery and murder. (2 Sam. 11:1-27). Solomon, David's son, endowed with divine wisdom and regarded as the wisest man that ever lived on earth fell to idolatry. (1 Kgs.11:1-. Samson, the Nazarene, specially empowered by God to deal with the Philistines also fell. He fell to lust - on the laps of Delilah. (Judges 16:4-21). Peter, regarded by many as the chief disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ also fell. He even denied ever knowing Jesus. (Mtt:26:69-75) In our time, many men of God have also fallen including some General Overseers, Pastors and Ministers of God. The list is endless

So, my beloved, why do you have this erroneous belief that you are so strong spiritually that you can never fall and makes jest of that brother or that sister who fall? Why? Why? Why?
In the Book of John 8:1-11, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Jesus. Her accusers were even ready to stone her to death, but when Jesus asked anyone among them who had not committed ANY sin at all, to cast the first stone at her, her accusers disappeared one by one until they left her with Jesus alone. They were all guilty of committing one sin or another. In the book of Psalm 103:3-4: we read: "If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared" So, who are you to boast that you cannot fall and you make jest of that Pastor, that brother or that sister who fell? Let us take some words of advice from Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 10:12: “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall......."

What then should be our right attitude when we see a brother or a sister fall? First, intercede in serious prayers on behalf of the fallen brother or sister for God to have mercy and forgive. Secondly, encourage the fallen brother or sister with soothing words of advice to return to Christ. Thirdly, check that area of your life that you know is weak and start working at it with serious prayers for God to strengthen you.

Beloved, no Christian, no matter how spiritually strong or powerful, is above sin. Remember, even Adam who was created perfect and without sin by God, fell. So, stop making jest of any fallen brother or sister if that has been your stock in trade.

Let us take this prayer point: "O God, my Father, deliver me from every trial or temptation that will cause my fall, in the name of Jesus". Remain blessed in the name of Jesus. .

I have decided to make my contributions on this issue.

Our God is the Almighty God. He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God. Before any project on earth is embarked upon by Heavens, God knows the beginning and the ending of that project. There is what we call: "God's Sovereign Choice". This is the exclusive right and authority of God to choose anyone he wants to execute any project designed by Heaven, He may choose one as a "vessel of honour" or as a vessel of dishonour (wrath), just as he did to Pharaoh. (Roamns 9: 15-22). Under normal circumstances, Pharaoh had no power to resist God for a long time, but he did what he did because he had already been chosen by God for a particular purpose.

There is something that took place in the case of Esau and Jacob which is quite revealing and very relevant to this topic. In Romans 9:11-14, we read: "For the children (Esau and Jacob) being not yet born neither having done good or evil that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of him that callelth. It was said unto her (Rebecca). the elder shall serve the younger. As it is written: " Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid." In verses 20-21 of the same Romans 9, we read: "..... O man who art thou that replieth God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it: "Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay of the same lump, to make one a vessel unto honour and another a vessel unto dishonour (wrath)?"

Beloved, let us take note that God had already declared Esau to serve Jacob ever before both of them were born and ever before Esau sold his birthright to Jacob to fulfill God's pronouncement. It was a Heavenly project designed for the nation of Israel and Esau had no choice, but to play out his role. Rebecca also played her role as well as Jacob, but Isaac, the father was not aware of all these. (Genesis Chapters 25-27). Secondly, God also declared: "Esau I hate". You will also note that Esau had not committed any sin or done anything wrong at the time God made this declaration. Nonetheless, events were bound to take place in the life of Esau to fulfill this declaration or pronouncement. Like I said, God has the exclusive right to choose anyone either as a vessel of honour or as a vessel of dishonour (wrath) to prosecute Heavenly programmed projects on earth. There is nothing we, humans, can do about it because God's thoughts and ways are far, far higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9) and who are we to query God?

Now to the issue of Judas. The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to earth was a purely Heavenly project (which I call: "The Jesus Project" designed to reconcile fallen man back to God, man having lost out in the Garden of Eden through Adam (Gen. 3) There are some notable characters already chosen by Heavens to prosecute this project; among them are Mary, Joseph (Mary's husband), John the Baptist, Judas Iscariot, High Priest Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate and Joseph of Arimathea.

Mary - she was chosen as "a vessel of honour" for the transfer of the life of Jesus Christ in Heaven to an earthly life. Her role was prophesied by Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 7:14: "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Emmanuel" Take note that Mary's name was not mentioned here, but when the time came Angel Gabriel was sent to Mary and see what he said: "Hail, thou art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee. Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God. And behold thou shall conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shall call his name JESUS." (Lk 1:28-31). Mary has no choice, but to play her role in the "Jesus Project".

Joseph - He was informed of the choice of his wife-to-be as the one chosen by Heavens for the Jesus Project. His role was to provide security and a good upbringing for the child. Recall that when Herod wanted to kill the child, he was advised by Heavens to take the child and mother to Egypt. This he did and returned to Nazareth only after the death of Herod. (Mtt. 1:18-23, 2:13-23). Joseph also had no choice, but to play his role. After the early life of Jesus, nothing was heard again about Joseph up till the time of the death of Jesus, for he had completed his role.

John the Baptist. He was to prepare the grounds for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and as soon as Jesus emerged, his Ministry also expired.

Judas Isacriot. The betrayal of Jesus Christ was prophesied in Zechariah 11:12-13. Like in the case of Mary, the name of Judas Iscariot was not mentioned. Beloved, when Jesus was choosing his disciples, Jesus who knew all things, knew right from the onset that Judas Iscariot would betray him, yet he did not leave him out of his team, but went ahead to include him as one of his disciples. Take note also that Jesus chose Judas Iscariot ever before he was assigned the portfolio of Treasurer in the group and also ever before he displayed tendencies of a thief. Why did Jesus not leave Judas out? Because Judas was among those chosen (in his own case, as a vessel of dishonur (wrath) to prosecute the Jesus Project. Take note also that even if Judas declined performing that role, someone else will still do it because it is the Heavenly script for the betrayal of Jesus Christ which has to be executed. So like Mary, Judas also had no choice but to play his role. Recall that if was after he had played the role that he regretted ever doing such a thing, but before then he had no choice but to play his part. I really pity him.

High Priest Caiaphas. His role was to sentence Jesus to death. (Mtt. 26:57-66).

Pontius Pilate. He was to give the final judgement and release of Jesus Christ for crucifixion. Pilate's wife had a dream about Jesus and she warned her husband. Pilate also knew that Jesus committed no sin or crime, yet he could not prevent the crucifixion of Jesus and went ahead to release him. (Mtt. 27:11-24). There was nothing he could do about it. He also had to play his role.

Joseph of Arimathea. He provided the grave for the burial of Jesus Christ. At the time he prepared the grave, little did he know that he was one of those chosen for the Jesus Project. (Mark 15: 42-46).

Beloved, as we have seen Judas had no choice but to play that role, but for playing that role he ended in death and shall also end in hell. Like I explained earlier, God has the exclusive right to choose whoever he wants to prosecute any Heavenly program either as a vessel of honour as in the case of Mary or as a vessel of dishonour as in the case of Judas. Whatever God does with them thereafter is his own decision which we have no power to fault. Reactions to this contribution are welcome. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

The name of Judas Iscariot, today, is a poison to all Christians world-wide. Why? He betrayed our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, leading to his death on the Cross of Calvary.

The question is - without the betrayal of Jesus Christ, would it have been possible to identify Jesus Christ from among his disciples? If Jesus Christ had not died and his blood shed for the remission of our sins, would we have gained salvation or be saved today? Was the action of Judas Iscariot not divinely programmed to enable Jesus Christ complete his work of redeeming mankind from sin and death? Why should Judas Iscariot be condemned for the role he played?

I am sure the above issue has also been on the mind of someone out there and I believe some of us would like to react to this topic or shed some light on it. Your reactions/contributions are, therefore, welcome.

Beloved, flee from the strange woman for she is a harbinger of death. Lust not after her beauty and resist every attempt by her to capture thee with her sweet tongue and eyelids, as Joseph did to Portiphar;s wife and you shall save your soul from eternal destruction and it shall also be well with you. Adam fell by the hand of a woman - Eve. (Gen. 3). David also fell by the hand of a woman - Bathsheba. (2 Sam. 11). Samson was not left out - he also fell by the hand of a woman - Delilah (Judges 16) and his case was the worst, for he got his two eyes painfully plucked out and died thereafter. Rahab used the power of a woman to deliver her household from destruction in the hands of rampaging Israel. (Joshua 2) while Esther also exercised the power of a woman to prevail on King Ahasuerus to deliver exiled Israel from the evil agenda of Haman and turned the "death sentence" hanging on Mordecai back on the evil planner - Haman. (Esther 4, 6 and 7). When I say the power of a woman, I am not referring to sexual power. Far from it. Women have a way of getting things done, especially those women who know what God has endowed in them. Whenever they want to get a thing done by man, they know the best approach to adopt.. Such is the power of a woman. Depending on the circumstances a woman finds herself, she can exercise her God-given powers either negatively or positively.

My dear brothers in Christ, do not ever underestimate or look down on a woman, especially your wife even if she is not as educated. intelligent, wealthy or physically strong as you are. A woman who knows her God-given power can use that power to assist you in moving your life forward or make things extremely difficult for you, especially if you deliberately and completely disregard or ignore her. Before carrying out any major policy decision in your home that will affect the entire family, please, consult your wife, discuss the issue with her and agree with her before implementing it. This way, you ensure love, peace, unity and progress in your home apart from the Biblical injunctions given in Ephesians 5:22-23.

Remember the popular adage - behind every successful man, there is a woman and behind every unsuccessful man, there is also a woman. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

When the politician is your Shepherd, you will always be in want. He will make you to lie down in wretched houses and brown pastures. He will lead you beside the still factories and he will disturb your soul. Yeah! though you walk through the valley of the shadow of depression and recession, you will anticipate no recovery, for he (the politician) is always with you. He will prepare a reduction in your salary and increment in taxes in the presence of starvation and hyper inflation and your cup of expenditure will run over.. Surely, unemployment, hardship and poverty shall follow you all the days of your sojourn on earth and you will dwell in a mud house forever. I pray, that you will never be a sheep to the politician nor shall you experience his evil works in the name of Jesus.

This post is a summary of a message delivered by a powerful Man of God in a program I attended today and I feel like sharing same with you.

A man went to a tailoring shop to sew a suit. The owner of the tailoring shop was a woman. His measurement was taken and he was asked to return a few days to collect his suit. While on his way home, he received a telephone call and you will be surprised who called him. It was the woman - the owner of the shop! She told the man that his suit was ready and she had taken it home and therefore asked the man to call at her home to collect the suit. The man returned to the woman's house to collect his suit and that was the beginning of his bondage. The man, from that very moment, forgot his wife and children and started living with the woman. He would go to work from the woman's house and back to her house. His wife and children waited for him to return home, but to no avail. On advice by a friend, she hurriedly went to a Bible-believing Deliverance Ministry and went through the process of deliverance. She prayed as she had never prayed before. After awhile, she had a voice tell her that her problems were over. While the man was in bed with the woman at the dead of the night, he felt something very cold by his side and when he quietly opened his eyes what did he see? A big live fish! Fear immediately overwhelmed him. As he was thinking of what to do, a voice from the fish spoke and warned him not to tell anyone what he had seen that night otherwise he would be a dead man. In the morning, the man left for his house and later on also went for deliverance to completely break the power of bewitchment.

A mother and child came to see the Man of God and when they got there, the Man of God deliberately asked them why they came to see him. The mother asked the son to speak, but the son refused and asked the mother to speak. The mother also refused and asked the son to speak. The Man of God was surprised at the drama he was seeing. Eventually, when they spoke, the Man of God was completely shocked at what he heard. The son had impregnated his mother! How? The son explained that he heard a voice asking him to "do it with his mother". He could not resist the voice and the result is what they are seeing now. The power of bewitchment!

A sister boarded a bus at a bus stop. A few minutes after, she discovered shockingly that all the passengers had fallen asleep - deeply asleep and she now realized that she was in a serious danger. She started pleading the Blood of Jesus quietly and by the time the bus was getting to a mild hold-up, she asked the driver to stop as she had got to where she was going. Initially, he was reluctant, but later the so-called conductor advised the driver to let the "stubborn woman" out of the bus so that she would not "spoil their business" and that was how the sister escaped. The power of bewitchment.

Beloved, there a lot of people out there under the power of bewitchment. Beautiful ladies and handsome men - no life partner and age is no longer on their side. There are those with the best of Certificates or Degrees, each time they attend a job interview, they are not employed. The cases are endless and a lot of people are under this power of bewitchment. If you know that you are under bewitchment. hurriedly run to a Bible-believing Deliverance Ministry and run through the process of deliverance and be free, as many others have done and have broken that power of bewitchment in their lives. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

I went to Ikeja in Lagos yesterday and I saw some physically disabled persons among them were some who had serious health problems begging for alms for medical treatment. Sometimes, in a bus stop, you see a well-dressed man or lady or woman approaching one for alms as well. My N100 or your N200 will not solve their problems. Of recent, both men and women have taking to committing suicide to end it all. Just yesterday again, it was reported that a man in Yenegoa hanged himself in his house whilst his wife was away. The pressure is harsh more on those in the lower spectrum of the society, thus giving rise to all sorts of criminal activities, deadly acts of wickedness and brazen injustice.

Unfortunately, the political class who rode on our backs during elections to get to their present position as well as the wealthy and powerful in the society seem not to bother about the "common man" The politician who promised heaven and earth to help his people is only interested in lining his pockets with looted funds to take care of only himself and his immediate family, but as for the masses who voted him to power, they can go to hell.

Beloved, are you worried or bothered about all these? Things will not get any better all over the world, as the situation is getting worse and worse by the day. Sometimes I wonder what the situation will look like in 5 years' time. But do not lose hope. God has given us the firm assurance that He will surely destroy this wicked world along with the wicked and replace it with a Heavenly Kingdom headed by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 6:9-10) and this will take place without notice. So, if you are reading this post and you are fed up with the way things are going on in your country and all over the world, but you have not yet given your life to Christ, this is the time to take an urgent stand with Christ as only those who believe in Him and are part of Him shall be part of that Kingdom where you will no longer see all these "nonsense" taking place all over the world. Please, do not delay.

In Revelation 12:7-12,we are told that there was war in Heaven between the Heavenly Hosts led by Arch Angel Michael on one hand and Satan and his rebellious angels (now demons) on the other hand and at the end of the day, Satan and his demonic angels were defeated and thrown down to earth. See what Rev. 12:12 has to say: "..........Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the seas, for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." No wonder, Peter in 1 Peter 5:8 warned: "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour."

Beloved, one of the potent traps Satan has invented to capture as many unsuspecting persons, especially our young ones to his dark kingdom is pornography. Pornography is spreading like wild fire across the globe and the internet is one of the mediums Satan is using to perpetrate his dangerous strategy. Today, pornography is free all over the internet and in some soft-sell magazines all over the world. About 95% of our young ones who browse the internet on a daily basis are involved in watching porn. It is unfortunate that some parents just buy very expensive hand-sets with internet connection for their children without bothering to monitor what they do on the internet.

There is no doubt that pornography has really aroused and increased the sexual appetite of our young ones such that today, boys and girls between the ages of 12 - 14 are no longer new to sex. Go to our primary schools and it is even worse in our secondary schools. Sexual promiscuity is the order of the day in our schools. Secret abortions are being carried out regularly without the knowledge of some parents because parents are too busy with their businesses and other activities to monitor their children. In a nutshell, our young ones are in real danger! Like I always say, Satan is now moving about "with one thousand legs" on the streets, seriously looking out for whom he may capture to his dark kingdom, knowing too well that he has only a short time left.

Parents! Parents!! Parents!!, wake up from your slumber and start monitoring your children. Do not trust your child so much with regards to sexual issues without monitoring your child because you do not know what your child actually does with the handset when he is alone. You are only shying away from your responsibility as a parent if you fail to monitor your child and if anything happens to the child, you as the parent, will DEFINITELY not go scot-free.

Remember this - if you are afraid of having headache in training, monitoring and disciplining your child while he is still young, then be fully prepared to have HEARTACHE when he grows up. Remember this also - it is easy to kill the lion while it is yet a cub, but not when it has grown to become a real lion. Finally, God will never forgive any parent who fails to train his child in the way of the Lord. (Prov. 22:6) I leave you with this - parents, be sober; parents, be vigilant, because our No. 1 enemy, Satan the devil, is moving about like a roaring lion seeking for whom he may capture to his dark kingdom and I pray that he will not see our children to capture in the name of Jesus.

"The lip of truth shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Lying lips are abomination unto the LORD, but they that deal truly are His delight. (Prov. 12:19, 22). The GSM has turned a lot of people to chronic and unrepentant liars and lying, though looked at as a minor sin by some people, is one sin that will send a lot of people to eternal destruction (Rev. 21: because nearly everyone tells one lie or the other. Let us therefore endeavour to tell the truth at all times.

The mode of dressing of some of our young men and women these days is becoming a cause for serious concern. We see some of our young men plaiting their hair like women even with attachments. Some have hair-styles like one who have not taken care of his hair for days like a mad man. Some others put on ear-rings like our woman folk and complement this style of dressing with a pair of trousers that easily expose their buttocks. I think they call it "saggy" or something like that. What is now left for our young men to add to this style of dressing is to put on artificial breasts with corresponding bras to match and then paint their lips red. With the way they are going I am sure it would not be too long before they start putting on bras and painting their lips red. blue or black whichever colour they want.
As for our women they are not different from the men. You see some with very long attachments stretching down behind to waist-level like water mermaids with ear-rings as large as the size of a football like the type used by our Super Eagles. Some put on blouses that completely expose their breasts with skirts covering only one-quarter of their laps - almost exposing the pants they are wearing and they have no apologies for that. If you watch our local movies you will see them dressing almost naked Others also put on this saggy thing of a trouser and when they want to have their seat in a bus their buttocks are completely exposed and that is when some of them will make frantic efforts to pull the trouser back to position. I told one in a bus one day that put on this saggy trousers when her buttocks was exposed that she should not bother pulling the trouser back to position afterall that is what she wanted. Other women paint their lips so red and their eye-lashes and even the face with different types of colours and tatoos all over their bodies that make it difficult to differentiate them from a masquerade. Some even go a step further by putting on very tight blouses and jeans trousers or very transparent dresses that easily reveal very sensitive parts of their bodies making them look very seductive and dangerously tempting to the opposite sex. Such are the ones that are easily raped by some young men especially the "bad boys" who cannot control their emotions when they see them and when they are raped they complain. Why would they complain? When you invite the devil to come and dine with you by your style of dressing what do you expect?
Beloved if I may ask what has happened to our moral values? What has happened to our sense of decency in terms of dressing? Can you in all honesty encourage or allow your child to dress in like manner - all in the name of fashion and modern-day type of dressing? How does this type of dressing portray you - responsible? I doubt Does this style of dressing in any way glorify God? Really what is this type of dressing meant to achieve? The men dress to attract the females whilst the females also dress 'to kill' to attract their male counterparts - for what purpose - sex! Sexual promiscuity in all its ramifications - rape. incest. fornication. adultery. lesbianism and homosexuality And this is what Satan the devil is promoting through his agents to pull down and destroy children and Men of God. By the way what does God say about dressing?
In 1 Timothy 2: 9 the Bible says - 'Let the women dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes.....' (New International Version of the Bible). Let us also see what the New Living Translation of the Bible says - 'Let the women be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes.' Beloved we have seen what God says on this issue. Let us therefore repent and change our bizarre and abominable style of dressing to avoid the fiery wrath of God If you really like this post share it and God will bless you for doing so.

Parents, let us try to train our children in the way of the Lord. Pay attention to them; monitor their activities both at home and in school; quickly call them to order when they are going wrong, discipline them when the occasion arises and do not over-pamper them. Please, do not allow your work, your business or your busy schedule from not paying attention to them. Remember, children left on their own can be useful tools in the hands of the devil, so, please, make time available to pay very close attention to them, so that at the end of the day they shall make us happy rather than causing us pain and heaviness of heart.

SUFFER SUFFER FOR WORLD, ENJOY FOR HEAVEN?

It was the great musical icon, late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti who sang the song: "Suffer Suffer for World, Enjoy for Heaven". But is it true that suffering i.e. poverty and hardship, are the reward for true Christians while on this earth because they want to be part of God's Kingdom? The answer is NO!
It is unfortunate that a lot of unbelievers have this erroneous belief that once you are a genuine and practising Christian, you will not be able to live comfortably, let alone enjoy the good things of life while on this earth until you get to God's Kingdom. At the time the late Fela sang this song, he seemed to have observed that Christians were, indeed, suffering from poverty and hardship and I want to believe that, that was what informed the composition of the song. The song appeared to make a mockery of Christians at that time, but in reality it was a big challenge to Christians. Most Christians, really, at that time never understood the principles of wealth, good health and success in all endeavours of life as provided by God in the Bible and assuming they understood, it appeared they never put them into practice.. But I thank God that some Christians now know these principles and applied them in their lives hence you see them enjoying life comfortably. Some are even very wealthy by applying these principles. Our God is the creator and owner of wealth. See what He said in Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine saith the Lord of Hosts/" and Deut. 8:18: says: "You shall remember the LORD your GOD, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth......" So, Christians have no business with poverty and hardship.

Let us, however, see a brief summary of these principles -

1) Be a genuine born-again and practising Christian with the fear of God in everything you do. Read and study the Bible regularly and observe to do all that is written therein. Joshua 1:8 says:
"This Book of the Law (the Bible) shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night and thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then thou shalt make thy way PROSPEROUS and then thou shalt have GOOD SUCCESS."

2. Cultivate the habit of giving bountiful offering in the House of God. In 2nd Corinthians 9:6, we are advised: "He who sows bountifully will also REAP bountifully."

3. Learn to give sacrificial offering - an offering that will temporarily hurt your finances ,like the widow who gave her all in the Bible See what King David said in 2 Samuel 24:24: "........I will not offer burnt offering to the LORD my GOD that cost me nothing.." When you give like that to God, the Lord will definitely bless you a thousand fold.

4. Pay your tithe faithfully and regularly. See what God says in Malachi 3:10: "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse (the House of God) that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith if I will not open you the windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be ROOM ENOUGH to CONTAIN IT."

5. Learn also to give to the poor, the needy, the widows and the orphans. Proverbs 19:17 has this to say: "He that hath pity on the poor (the needy) lendeth unto the LORD and that which he hath given will He (the LORD) pay to him (the giver). And when the LORD is paying you, you know what that means.

6. Do a honest work or business and work hard.

If we apply the above principles diligently and sincerely, you will no longer be part of Fela's song, but shall live a very comfortable life while on this earth. But the TRUTH is that our inability to apply these principles faithfully is one of the causes of poverty and hardship amongst Christians. We find it difficult to give in the House of God. Poverty and hardship is not the portion of a true child of God, so apply the above principles and ENJOY THIS EARTH AND ALSO be prepared to ENJOY HEAVEN when you eventually get into God's Kingdom. See what God assured us in 1 Cor. 2:9: "........Eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

If for example, one is an armed robber (I am not saying you are one, I am only giving an example), his conscience will be telling him that it is not good to take things that do not belong to you from people by force or killing them to even taking the items from them. In most cases the one who does this evil, sometimes, have the strong feeling that indeed what he is doing is not good and would like to put a stop to it but have difficulty in doing so. God has given us the mechanism i.e. the conscience, to warn us when we do something wrong, but more often than not we do not listen until one is caught and punished. So, if the one who does this evil decides to put a stop to it he can actually do so if he so decides. It takes a very strong will to do it, but if the person is having problems in putting a stop to it, then the next thing is to seek the assistance of God through prayers or by seeing a man of God. If even one is able to retrace his steps out of his strong will, he still needs God because without God no one can exist. He is our Creator, our Maker and has given us guidelines (the Holy Bible) for us to live according to His will. So, you need God ALWAYS. Once he puts a stop to the evil he is doing, he now thinks about his whole life and the need for him to follow God's way and once he does that he now realizes that he has actually been doing the wrong thing, asks God for forgiveness for what he had done and now lives a righteous and God-fearing life.

The Lord decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of the wickedness of the city and the unrepentant attitude of the inhabitants. He informed Abraham of His intentions and Abraham pleaded with the LORD to spare his relation, Lot and members of his family. (Gen. 18:22-31). The LORD agreed and granted them salvation, but Lot's wife and some of his daughters and their husbands (sons-in-law) allowed the salvation granted unto them through the grace of the LORD to slip away from their hands and accordingly got destroyed with the city. (Gen. 18:17-33, Gen. 19:1-24).
In Romans 3:23, the Bible says: "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God", but the Lord out of His mercy and compassion upon us decided to grant us salvation.
Are you a brother in the Lord; are you a sister in the Lord, please, I beg of you, do not let the salvation which we struggled and denied ourselves of a lot of things and which God, through His grace, granted us, slip away from our hands because of the pleasures of this world as Lot's wife did.
Are you out there and you have not yet given your life to Christ? The Bible says in Acts 4:12: "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men (apart from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ) whereby we must be saved." This is the time for you to retrace your steps and surrender your life to Jesus Christ, for there is no repentance in the grave. SURELY, the Lord shall destroy all unbelievers (1 Cor. 6:9-10) for these would not be allowed into His Kingdom, but the opportunity is there for you right now not to be part of that destruction. REPENT NOW AND BE SAVED.

It appears respondents to this thread never took their time to read the post properly. Money is good, there is no doubt about it. This, I have stated clearly that without money you cannot meet the basic needs of life and you need money to survive this world. But when you love money so much that you had to kidnap people, rob people, do 419, kill your wife or son and use him or her, for ritual purposes just because you want money which is what God and even humanity hates, that is what is bad. Go back and read the post once again. If you say you love money and you want to kidnap, rob, kill others, etc. to get money, then go ahead and kill, but remember you will also pay for it dearly. In a nutshell, work hard, do a honest and legal business or work to get your money and do not use all your time looking for money without serving your God who gave you life and power to get money. That is the bottom line of my message. In other words, do not serve money, but let money serve you or money should not be your master, rather, let money be your servant.

“A feast is made for laughter and wine maketh merry, but MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THINGS (capitals mine).” (Prov. 10:19)
Many years back when I was a fan of James Hadley Chase, there was a novel he wrote titled: “You Are Dead Without Money”. There Is no doubt that money answereth all things, so when a man has no money he is, indeed, like a dead man. Without money, you cannot have the basic things of life, let alone take care of your family. In your family or community, no one recognizes you if you have no money. If you happen to be an elder, your words of advice and counsel have no weight. If you are in the midst of the movers and shakers of the society, nobody recognizes your presence if you have no money. Worse still, in your immediate family, if money gets out of the hand of the man through the door, love from the woman also flies out of the window and you thus become a footmat for your wife, especially if she is not a genuine born-again Christian. Indeed, money answereth all things and money also maketh a man. In fact, we all need money to survive in this world.
But let us also not forget this fact – “For the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Timothy 6:10)
Money is good; we all need it, but the love of it at the detriment of our relationship with God is what is bad, for the love of money has actually made many to compromise their faith. It has also led many to prisons in foreign lands; many are involved in all forms of sinful and wicked acts leading ultimately to their destruction.
Let us, therefore, not worship or serve money; rather, let money serve us – be our servant and not our master. I pray for you that you will not be a poor man to the extent of cursing God for being poor and the riches or wealth you will have will not prevent you from serving your God faithfully in the name of Jesus.

"As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came and shall take NOTHING of his labour which he may carry away in his hand." (Eccl. 7:13) God had earlier decreed in Gen.3:19(b): "........ dust thou art and unto dust thou shall return." taking NOTHING along as you return.
So, why do some men kill their fellow human beings for the purpose of acquiring wealth? Why do others kidnap, trade in hard drugs, rob with merciless violence, rape women, even teenagers with reckless abandon or sleep with beasts i.e. dogs, goats, etc or dupe unsuspecting innocent men of their hard-earned money, just to acquire wealth?
Remember, no matter what you acquire - be they houses in choice locations, companies, fleet of expensive and exotic cars or cash both in Naira and foreign currency in billions, on the day you "return to the dust", NONE of the stupendous and ill-gotten wealth you have acquired neither your wife nor any of your children shall go with you, for NAKED you came and NAKED you shall return empty-handed and the funny and miserable thing is that all the wealth you left behind may not even be enjoyed by your immediate family, but those who NEVER worked or sweated for it hence Solomon declared; "ALL IS VANITY!"
Let us therefore heed the words of advice from King Solomon in Eccl. 12:13-14 after he had tasted everything you can imagine on the face of this Earth: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter - Fear God and keep His commandments, for that is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work unto judgement with every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is bad." Remember also what our Lord Jesus Christ advised in the Book of Mark 8:36: "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
So, my dear brethren, let us endeavour to live a contented and God-fearing life and it shall be well with you. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

Every contribution is really appreciated, especially taking into account the fact that we can hardly have the same views on the same issue. We come from different religious and spiritual backgrounds and our experiences on religious and spiritual issues are also not the same, hence the varying views on this issue, but as expressed earlier, all contributions are appreciated.
Having said that, I want to approach this topic from a purely Christian and Biblical point of view. Even though some of us erroneously regard the Bible as a Book of fiction written by fiction writers (this issue will be taken up on a different thread), the fact that it is regarded as such by some persons did not in any way take away the truth that the Bible still remains a purely Holy Book written by Men of God under divine inspiration (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and is the Book that God handed down as the "Constitution of Man" - a Book that contains DETAILED guidelines or rules and regulations governing the relationship between God and man, for man to live a comfortable, fulfilled, righteous and God-fearing life and also for man to live a sickness, sorrow,pain and death-free life when God's Kingdom is finally established. I therefore pray fervently for those of us who are yet to believe the Bible or take the Words of God seriously for the Holy Spirit to touch them so that they will have a serious re-think, take up the Bible, really read and study it with a clean and unbiased mind and I am sure they will see the mighty hand of God in their lives.

Now to the topic - Who created Satan? Did God create him?
Ezekiel 28:13 & 15 shed some light on the creation of Lucifer. (13) ''Thou has been in Eden, the garden of God (which is true), every precious stone was thy covering; the sardins, topaz and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx and the jasper; the saphire, the emerald and the gold; the workmanship of thy tabrels and thy pipes WAS PREPARED IN THEE in the day THAT THOU WAST CREATED. (15) Thau wast PERFECT IN THY WAYS from the day that THOU WAST CREATED, till iniquity was found in thee." In verse 15, we can see clearly that Lucifer was created a PERFECT angelic (cherub)/spirit being, adorned with beauty and prepared specially to take charge of music (Praise and Worship) - tabrels and pipes are musical instruments, so was Lucifer prepared right from the day HE WAS CREATED! (verse 13). He became Satan when iniquity was found in him. He was never created as Satan, but was created Lucifer, PERFECT and WITHOUT BLEMISH. It is like a Father who gave birth to a son called Goodman who eventually became an armed robber. The father never gave birth to him as an armed robber,, so is the case with Lucifer. By the way, what is the meaning of Satan? An enemy, an Adversary and a Resister of God who is also known as "the accuser of our brethren" So, God never created His own enemy deliberately. He created Lucifer - very perfect, without blemish who later turned to be God's adversary. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.

It is very common these days to see old, wealthy, beautiful and influential women advertising in social media networks offering themselves for sexual relationship with "energetic young men" who can satisfy them sexually. To lure them into accepting their offer, they attach a mouth-watering financial inducement or package that makes it difficult for some of our young men who want to get rich quick overnight to resist. Our young men who do not want to work hard to earn a decent living are those who easily fall prey to what I will describe as "satanic traps" set by some of these diabolical sugar mummies to capture their unsuspecting victims. What is really disturbing now is that even some young ladies, wealthy, beautiful and influential have also joined the club of sugar mummies and they go all out, dressed in highly seductive dresses; in some cases, half nude, shamelessly advertising themselves in the social media. It is that bad! Unfortunately, we see a long list of young men providing their contact details for such services without knowing the dangers involved. What are the dangers involved?
Do you know that the condoms used in the sexual act which contains the sperm (which is the blood) of the unsuspecting young lover can be used by some of these satanic sugar mummies for ritual purposes, to transfer the destiny of the lover boy to that of the sugar mummy? Do you also know that in case a condom is not used in the sexual act, whatever is used to clean up the sperm can also be used for the same purpose? That is why some of these sugar mummies involved in this diabolical act become wealthier and wealthier while the lover boy becomes empty in all areas of his life and that is also why they can afford to lure the unsuspecting young men, especially those with ""very bright stars" with fantastic financial offers.
For those of them who have uncontrollable sexual urge and want the young men to satisfy them sexually only, these sugar mummies are also ruining the lives of our young men. Because they pay them a lot of money, they can compel them to have marathon sex almost every hour on a daily basis and when a man subjects himself to such sexual activity, thinking that he is enjoying, he is already a "finished man" both physically and especially spiritually. So, if you are a young man going after sugar mummies, BEWARE!

SUGAR DADDIES
As for sugar daddies, they do not always come out openly to advertise themselves like their female counterparts in social media without caution, but they use paid agents to get their victims i.e. unsuspecting young women and even girls. Our young ladies also fall prey to these sugar daddies easily because of the financial inducement. Cases are abound in the news media where you see corpses of some women and girls dumped in bushy areas with some vital organs of their bodies missing. Of course, the missing body parts might have been used by some of these satanic sugar daddies for ritual purposes - to acquire wealth, political and spiritual power. So, if you are a young woman or girl going after sugar daddies, BEWARE1

Sexual activities by both sugar mummies and sugar daddies with their victims is FORNICATION. Fornication is a serious sin which God hates with perfect hatred and He has warned on several occasions that those involved shall surely face His full wrath. They shall be utterly destroyed and none shall ever be part of His Kingdom. 1 Cor. 6:13, 15, 18 and 19 says: "........Now, the body (our bodies) is NOT for fornication......" "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot (sugar mummy or sugar daddy) God forbid! FLEE fornication! Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body which is the TEMPLE of the HOLY GHOST which is in you and you are not your own." Then in 1 Cor. 6;9-10 we are warned: "......Be not deceived neither fornicators nor idolators, nor adulterers nor effeminate nor abusers of themselves with mankind (sugar mummies, sugar daddies, homosexuals, lesbians as well as those who practice bestiality) shall inherit the Kingdom of God." THEY SHALL ALL BE DESTROYED IF THEY FAIL TO REPENT!
I, therefore, beseech you, sugar mummy; you, sugar daddy; you, young man and you, young woman or lady, to make haste and surrender your life to Jesus Christ and be saved and delivered. That uncontrollable sexual desire is a clear manipulation of the devil. You are not your very self, but under a strong demonic influence and that is why you find it difficult to free yourself from this abominable sexual bondage. So, run to a Bible-believing Church, preferably a Deliverance Ministry nearby you and run through the process of deliverance to destroy that demonic influence over your life and you will thereafter live your normal life. The Lord is always ready to accept you and forgive you your sins. So, DO NOT DELAY. As you do so, God will have mercy on you. Remain blessed in the name of Jesus.
