Gerrard59:

It is not every time some people are worthy of reply. Your main point is that I have some angst against people who call Nigeria unpredictable names because you are one of them.

What you fail to mention is that each time you rule Nigeria or in Power, you fffff it up. Actually, the only time people like you are happy since Balewa, Shagari, Ironsi, Obasanjo and lately Jonathan is when you are sharing Power or in Power. Otherwise, Nigeria is unpredictable vulgar names.

Funny and ironic, you justify that by claiming if they come from unpredictable labeled areas of Nigeria, it is the reason it must be cared for. You should be ashamed of yourself. The places you run to, worked hard to lift themselves up from abject poverty like where you come from. Yet, you go there and claim credit. You are pathetic.

Where I come from in Nigeria, we were raised that once a stranger enters our midst at dusk, he must be fed, clothed and given a place to sleep before dawn. Our Youths have rejected that today and label us STUPID.

My suspicion is that the lady in question here comes from one of the most civilized communities in the world. When you suddenly find yourself in a community of Me, Myself and I alone; cold blooded and indifferent after you were raised that they are the most modern. If you do not get a Cultural Shock, consider yourself dead.

I know where you are going but I am glad you are boiling at my comments. Learn to appreciate and improve your own village. If you cannot, as a foreigner once ask me: who is going to DEVELOP it for you?

How many times have you seen that many real Torontonian, Londoner, New Yorker or Lagosian run out?

God bless you sir. Somehow I missed this your comment.

If there is anything to learn from this lady, it is that most Africans come from highly civilized communities. Cannibals have redefine "civilized" to mean "survival of the fittest". So they roam around the world looking for conquests or fomenting trouble within societies to divide and conquer them.

They used to go around the world and force "Protectorate" on civilized communities. If you resist like the Ashanti, Ijebu, Bini, Zulu etc., the British Army with the help of other African Protectorate will burn down your communities .

Now, they will bomb the hell out of you back to rumbles or stone ages.

How did they become rich and advanced in Weapon of Mass Destruction? Our parents and grandparents slave labor.

Today, they no longer need to do that. We used our life savings and fortune to buy tickets on Boeing 707 to volunteer for services.

We claim we are sending our children abroad for "good education". shocked warped education that will turn your children against you, your civilized culture and countries.

If the lady in the video is reading this, please consider your complaint normal and human. It showed you come from a civilized community and found yourself within antisocial humans than Africans.

Even when you enter molue or bus in Nigeria, you can strike conversation with a stranger. Sitting down in front of your house alone, people greet one another.

This is live and let live, called real civilization.

Overseas that we hype so much, they class themselves for economic survival, not to talk about those they consider strangers among them. Even when some of the Blacks and native Indians have been there before Columbus. When they see you, they think of exploitation for labor and class or dehumanize you for cheap labor.

Why are Indians gaining ground in U.K and Canada? They love and cherish their country of origin. They develope their Youths and lift many out of poverty. When they were selling their children to eat, those in Nigeria as teachers etc. were sending money home. Asia went from the face of abject poverty to sending astronauts to moon.

While Nigeria went from a country flowing with milk and wara with Cocoa money to abject poverty with deluge of Oil money.

Asians are respected outside for what they achieve at their country of origin.

Nigerians call their country all kinds of unpredictable names. Ask any foreigner, including Trump: they heard or would tell you Nigeria is the best place to make money.

Check out the villages of those who call Nigeria unpredictable names, e worwor and that is why they run out. They are recruiting more glorified slaves abroad.

Let me repeat, Africans are glorified SLAVES abroad.

My problem with you is using token Blacks and anecdotal evidence to justify token Africans who made it overseas. It is not fair because that attracts more glorified African slaves there. Do you know how many Africans working full time jobs and full time school or two three jobs have pafuka, drop dead or went crazy and become unknown?

A guy had 10 million naira that can make him comfortable, establish business, build house or a car. Yet, he is asking what country he could japa with 10m naira!

10m naira is less than minimum wage for Christ sake. Those living on minimum wage abroad live in abject poverty!

By the way, while Africans do better than Black Americans in the US, Black Americans do better than Africans everywhere else, including Nigeria.

Get this, any foreigner do better than Africans in Africa. It has to do with colo-mentality. So they are not slaves in Africa.

People in Nigerian villages eat three square meals, live in modest houses, clean environment but prefer hustling and bustling in Lagos. It is their choice.

Remember now, people cannot live anywhere they want as you claimed. Ask those crossing sea and desert or crossing US borders because people like you attracted them with token few.

Oh, before I forget, UK and Canada are being taken over by Indians and even they, discriminate against Africans. Imagine!

Skyview01:

I still maintain that lots of people abroad are not "slaves" as you like to refer to them. This place has given opportunities to a lot of Nigerians and people all over the world to succeed. I have Chinese, Indians, and European colleagues here in Canada, Are they slaves also for leaving their countries to migrate abroad? The Americans doing business in Nigeria, are they slaves too?

I have a friend who never had a good job in Nigeria and who has become a dollar millionaire in a space of 8 years of living in Canada. She would never have achieved this in Nigeria.

The summary is, that lots of people will make it in Nigeria while many while many will make it abroad. People migrate for different reasons and resist the urge to call people abroad slaves as people are free to live wherever they choose.

As for making Nigeria a burial ground, I hope to be cremated after my death as there is no value to a corpse, why would anybody care where they are buried? You know and feel nothing after death.

Skyview01,

This your latest version I agree with in part.

But Lagos is not the only place in Nigeria. I remember a lady who told me that No Civilized Person lives in Lagos.

Most of those you see in abject poverty are not from Lagos. They had a better life in the village but insisted on Lagos as Promised Land. E go better!

Canadians think they are more tolerant than Americans until you scratch their skin. One good thing about them is the educational system that does not segregate kids by neighborhoods like US.

Nevertheless, the best educational system is the one at home, not oversees where they teach and sell you fake English Canadian accent.

Even in the US, accents are different from East to West, North to South.

Please whatever you can, do it anywhere in Nigeria or Africa. Better late than never.

Oversees are nice places to visit, and if you have paid your dues there, retire. BUT only after you have contributed your younger days to Africa. Africa is not a burial ground grin

I do not know why many of us cannot make something great out of our village instead of condemning where we come from. Do you know you are a reflection of where you come from?

Where do they get money they sent home? Even those working for less than minimum wage under the table send money home. It is a commitment.

You have never seen homeless people where you are used for target practice by Police? You guys must stop glorifying places where you are treated like subhuman just because you get food to eat.

Good social life is what we all aim for, sometimes you forget to eat, go on a diet or fast for better goals.

I admit that only a hungry man knows where it pinched.

Make a difference at home and stop blaming leaders you raised, nourished, voted for and tell you to your face that they steal because you refused to stone them.

They look at you with disdain overseas, you look at yourselves with pride.

Glorified slaves.

If they are underemployed as you claimed, where would they get the money to remit back to Nigeria.? What about millions in Nigeria who work for less than $100 per month and live like slaves in their own country?

You cannot mix civilized cultures with Barbarians (from the Greeks, not me). Africans are too friendly, accommodating and tolerant. How do you think we were easily taken as slaves and baptized to be exploited?

There is nothing wrong with the girl. Her expectations based on propaganda lures her out of her comfortable culture.

Japajantis is a curse. Go to the next page, they are still promoting it. Especially those who cannot make anything out of their environment looking for soft landing in others backyards.

At the end of the day, humans are social animals but cannibals within us are leading the game of conquest.

Sometimes, from the time you leave your house, go to work and school, there would be nobody to talk to. Your mouth become dry and smelly.

Try to strike a conversation, before you meet the 10th person that may be nice. The other nine would either think you are crazy or move away.

It is the one second fake smile that is worse.

Africans need to get rid of propaganda peddlers, money launderers, start appreciating home by trading with fellow Africans. College is not for books alone. It is where young people meet and socialize.

What do you gain from foreign colleges apart from fake funny accents? You will be underemployed abroad while fools at home celebrate token appointments.

Where those trying to snatch victory from the head in Nigeria missed wide, is that there were 200 to 400 ORISA BEFORE ODUDUWA that Oduduwa met, one of who he claimed as his Ancestor.

The more we learn about ILE-IFE, the more we realize how cultural powerful and ancient it was.

IFA alone United many cultures and people that traced their people to IFE. Even their closest relatives in Bini from Uhe and Ijaw that claim Adamu (Oduduwa) now want to be independently known as separate people or snatch Yoruba glory from the top as the father. Especially, those in Nigeria.

As we found out that Ijaw, Ogiso and Igbo or Ibo also originated from Ife, their suzerainty fall apart. Interestingly, those that originated from IFE outside Nigeria still cling to IFE while those in Nigeria claim suzerainty. .

It has been postulated that these people are one and the same people separated by modern day politics. Interesting they all claim they came from Egypt, a new world compared to IFE.

On their way to and from Egypt to the same location or nearby, they never met?

Good question, Sir. Take the then Igbo Kings of Ife, the Obatala for instance. One of their titles was Obi Osere Igbo. Now, let us analyse the title Obi Osere Igbo. The Obi part of the title is undeniably an Igbo royal title, as in Obi of Onitsha, Obi of Otolo, Nnewi, etc., etc., etc.

The Osere part of the title has a deep priestly significance in Igbo Land. For example, in the Igbo kingdom of Ogwuta in Imo State, their priests have inherited the title Osere. In Ogwuta, the Osere is the Chief Priest of the Owu Institution. (Does the word Owu ring a bell?. Don't say no o.)

Okay, let's continue with our analysis of the Oba Igbo's title, Obi Osere Igbo.

The last part of the title Igbo is self explanatory. If one should translate that Obatala title from Igbo to English, it would simply mean Priest King of the Igbo. Mind you, ancient Igbo Kings like the King of Nri, where the aboriginal Igbo of Ife originated according to History of the Igbo World by Prince Charles Offokaja were and are priest kings.

Even Catherine Acholonu, whom you despise, told us of a trip she took to Cuba, where she saw a statue of Obatala built by Afro Descendants (probably from Ife) in which the following phrase was inscribed Obatala, King of the Igbo Nation. This phrase is so insightful that I will repeat it, Obatala, King of the Igbo Nation. These and other facts are documented in the book, History of the Igbo World, which you can purchase at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K4AIUO8 at a very affordable price. In fact, if you had read the book, you wouldn't have asked me such an easy question. Oga, bring difficult questions na.

https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/325750/japajantis-discipline-talents-turned-natural-resources-in.html

We are not talking of the Great Empires of Ghana, Mali or Songhai. But if Western Region of Nigeria could build many Firsts in Africa, better than some countries in Europe in the 60s from meager Cocoa Income, there is no reason we could not have built on that potential with the relatively enormous amount of income made from Oil. Nigeria and other African countries squandered the income outside. Some desperate Africans colluded with foreigners to defraud their own countries.

Few of them forgot their foreign accounts forfeited to better use. The finished goods, where the profit is invested, rewards new ownerships. Unlike raw materials after leaving their sources and labor unions, it is not subject to negotiation. They name their price only to make sure it is in line with those of competitors, if they lack a monopoly. It can be a little less to capture market share or more based on brandings. We have known this for decades.

Africans with comfortable fortune at home seek greener pastures abroad where their money turns to less than minimum wage. We must find out how people with minimum wage or less live abroad compared to that small fortune at home. Many of us have bought into the excuse of politicians that our big population made us poor and unmanageable. This difference in population only makes sense with Seychelles, the richest compared to Burundi the poorest, though with higher GDP than Seychelles.

However, China, India, Bangladesh have bigger populations than Nigeria. If we have talents, skills and enterprising spirit but cannot manage or exploit them in our fertile environment, hostile environments will lure us into glorified slavery and even pay us less at home. These are the essential ingredients used to produce finished manufactured products at home and abroad.

African leaders and their cronies pay consultants, accountants, lawyers etc. awoof fees to launder foreign income. Even money recovered abroad from Vagabonds In Power, are laundered back outside. We may remember the story of talents in the holy books regarding the increase of what they had; while those who hid their talents wherever (lost it) were taken from them and given to those who multiplied theirs. What have we as Africans done to our

JAPAJANTIS: DISCIPLINE & TALENTS TURNED NATURAL RESOURCES INTO FINISHED PRODUCTS

Japajantis take heed. God is not coming down to save Africans. Heaven helps those who help themselves. God gave Humans the skills, intelligence and knowledge to use technology for transforming natural or artificial resources into usable and valuable products. There is a list of countries with the least natural resources: Vatican City. Costa Rica. Switzerland. Belgium. Taïwan. Japan. Hong Kong. Gibraltar.

Our darkest time in life, if we don't forget, can spur us into a better future. Necessity is the mother of invention, we say. Many people fall, it is those that get up and move on that make it. There is a Yoruba adage: Adani loro, Agbara lo fi koni (adversity makes us stronger). Japan was defeated, without natural resources but their talents, sweat, discipline and determination raised them, and they learned their lessons that turned their land and people into greatness. Build a miracle out of our villages.

Africa can rise from 500 years of Dark Continent instead of wallowing in self-pity. Indeed, more of our problems today are not natural calamity but come from a few privileged Africans at the expense of those that work very hard at home and economic refugees in the Diaspora trying to rebuild. Our problems are indulging in a leaky Basket. No matter how much sweat is poured in, most of it is wasted. Twice or more as much income as is made from gold, diamond, uranium, oil etc is laundered outside.
