Yes they can. Biometrics is just a part of the application. Including medicals. It is not a guarantee for visa.

I got a Student visa Refusal yesterday based on INSUFFICIENT FUND and that my mum cannot use all her pension money to fund my education because she is retired. I applied for msc Engineering. I regretted not using my hubby as my sponsor because is monthly income is very okay.I submitted a statement of acct worth 14m. .My agent is telling me to Re-fire my application for July intake using my hubby as sponsor. Why do they need to proof that he is married? What Kind of US visa needs Marriage for Visa to be given. Are these agents legit

I am assuming they will share fake marriage certificate and the rest, perhaps fake wedding pictures as well.

It seems you included H to the HAP ID while filling the form. It is supposed to be about 8 digits without H eg 150*****. Confirm that you used the correct HAP ID with the link below

Have you called the Panel Physician used I.e. Fatayi Williams Clinic and/or IOM. Be sure you filled the health assessment form and clicked Information provided. Based on experience, the doctor logs in to your page and update your health examination result directly. Pls verify by calling the Australian recognised panel physician you used. You should have cried out long ago oh.

Biko how were u asked for medicals? Did your case officer send an email?

My Medical assessment has still not changed status after 60 days, even when i did medicals before applying.

When in december did u apply, i applied on the 15th and did biometrics 17th was asked for medicals 18th.. status says under processing time

there is also an international driving permit you can get in lagos within 2 days for just 8k. can be used in some parts of Aus and even other countries. It is valid for one year can be renewed without ur presence

I want to appreciate every single member both home and abroad that has contributed to proferring solutions to the challenges of Nigerians trying to secure Australian student visa. If there is anything I have learnt from this thread, it is that, no mattter how big your problem might seem, there is someone that can suggest possible solutions to the problem more than any agent.

Based on the foregoing, I have two serious concerns, here it goes:

I have secured three Ph.D admissions (University of Wollongong, Macquarie University and Deakin University) in September. Out of the three, Macquarie offered me IMQRES-MREs as a research training pathway for the Ph.D program on 24th October 2017 for a 1st January 2018 commencement date. However, they made an error by signifying that there was no condition to be satisfied in the offer letter as against the pointer mail on candidature that I need to write IELTS. Because of my state of unrest, I contacted them after a week and apology was rendered. I quickly booked for an IELTS exam with the earliest been 25th November, 2017. Remember I would have to wait for 13days to get my result, so that means I would have to get my CoE approximately on December 8, 2017 as the earliest. Although, I contacted them and I was told I could still resume by January 15th. A sigh of relief. But.....

My Questions:
How possible is it to meet up with the January 15th start date given that I need to do medicals, apply for visa and endure the waiting game?

Is there any advice on any line of actions that I can take apart from the underlisted ones?
Based on the second question, I have already generated my HAP ID for medicals, filled my acceptance offer letter, lodged for OSHC to be provided by my university since 25th October 2017 ( though no reply from zenith bank yet), create an immiaccount and got stucked when I was asked to add CoE code. I believe I can get more suggestions on things to do before lodging my visa applications.

Does any one know how long it will take to get visa after looking at my total story? given all this waiting since July, I read (wished I did not read them though, but thats reality)?

Do I need to get Police clearance certificate at CID, ALAGBON, IKOYI.

Also how many months bank statement is required.
How much should be the opening balance
