SA Flyer Photographer Justin de Reuck spent the weekend up in Namibia covering the first airshow that the country has seen in 20 years. The show was a resounding success. Here a Namibian Air Force Chengdu F-7NM (The Chinese variation of the Russian Mig 21) performs a flypast for the crowd. — at Hosea Kutako International Airport Took this from Flyer International SA or something like that

ViceAdmiral: That article for me is vague and confusing as always ...We need specialist defense journalists in Namibia. The same paper that published this story once described a military flypast as a "sky dance" by fighter jets utterly hopeless in my opinion...Reading on the comments on the various social media platforms it appears that it was actually paras that graduated..So is it safe to assume that paras are organized as part of the special forces??meaning we got commandos, amphibious commandos(from the marines) and now Paras in the special forces I have a million questions ..The only thing that will satisfy my curiosity will be an organogram Thought I was seeing things Namibian Air Force members in Botswana
Either way more images of the grads pic 1: im no para expert but shouldn't u keep your legs together to avoid injury pic 2: have u noticed the air force cammo being worn the chief of Air Force is different from the army cammo, the green in the army cammo has been replaced by blue in the air force cammo

" fourth regiment of the Namibia Defence Force (NDF) graduated at the Namibia Special Forces School on Friday, after undergoing an advanced training course at the military bastion town of Grootfontein.
Namibian special forces include paratroopers and commandos from the army, navy and air force who are assigned to special operations command. Around 70 trainees are selected out of a squad of 200 to 300 volunteers after a rigorous training programme. Training took 18 months."

ViceAdmiral: By the way are Marines also trained in crowd control or whats the story behind the gear they had on during the independence parade as seen in pic1. Ou and the new digital camo uniform for the Marines??...Is it replacing the green one or its the new Special forces uniform since even the Army Special Forces commander is wearing it in pic2: It's confirmed....

ViceAdmiral: So is it safe to assume that the marines are phasing out the old lime green cammo with the digital 1 over time??I don't see them wearing two uniforms forever...Well Special Forces are shrouded in secrecy i rest all my questions about them for now....
A pic of a Namibian police wer'wolf MKII in Special field force cammo just to stay on topic I guess that's enough for today We have managed to illegally occupy This thread That's if you catch my drift...
