ViceAdmiral: The MK111 is still undergoing tests right isn't it?
How many casspirs, wolf turbos,Werwolfs MK11's are in service??
Have the casspirs and wolf turbos been 'refurbished'?
Have the kornets been bought in 'significant' numbers? and they are meant for the 'Anti tank' Regiment right?
Are the plans to replace that Artillery from 1937 we are still operating?
Any plans for some sort of Air defence system??
Yeah the cammo is great but will it work in the Namib desert?? MK111 is on the assembly line About 20 Casspirs left(There's a plan to put them in use with Law Enforcement) Same with the Wolf Turbo The Kornets haven't been unboxed yet I have a feeling they're going to mount a few on some "Bakkies" No plans for Air defense and the replacement of Artillery systems yet Burundi

ViceAdmiral: I still don't see the government buying planes from the 'west' [unless its VIP planes ] perhaps times have changed..The navy has 'enjoyed' purchases for the last 6 years..its the army that's abandoned it seems I would say it's the army that has been catered for over the years... Purchasing of small arms The new Shipment of Ural Trucks The Agrale Marruas The New Wolf MK111 The Kornets And they're finalizing the VT-4 Deal All these took place in the last two years Can't stop obsessing over the Marine Digital Cammo

jln115: Do you guys need licences in Namib? Yes you do but when it comes to Semi-auto weapons all you need is a few extra $$ Not that I've tried it before But that's what I was told by a man working at that store when I tried to buy an R4 |

ViceAdmiral: Will the AF or navy be making purchases soon ??
The AF in my opinion has a tendency to keep a lid on incidents I was speaking to my cousin about the air lift capacity and whether we were going to look at C-27j Spartan and he told me that the airforce is testing a Russian made medium transport aircraft...And the J-10/Gripen story has been around for a while...my guess is that they're just looking for funding...As for the Navy...Well nobody cares about the Navy in this country |

ViceAdmiral: How often do u think the Mi-24's take to the skies?
Has the AF fixed the other AN-26 that crash landed the other year? MI-24's does border patrol...A friend of mine who happens to pilot one too pictures of their operations...Will try to find them although I got a new laptop and lost most of my pictures.... The other AN-26 is parked inside a hanger so I haven't really seen it...Oh and about the three F-7's that were damaged in the hanger collapse...The Air Force still hasn't released a statement so my guess is that they don't plan on doing so |

agaugust: The violent disaster we have now in Burundi is the result of SANDF military operation failure when they intervened in Burundi few years ago. AU should just find a track record experienced battle tested and success proven Kenyan, Angolan, Ugandan, Tanzanian, or Zimbabwean army general commander to lead the new AU force in Burundi, SAAF can support mission with 3 Rooivalks and 18 armed Oryx Transport helicopters. Africa needs capable hands not just those hunting for national glory or pride via intervention forces, hundreds of thousands of civilian lives are at stake in African conflict zones today. Let's put sentiments aside and save our innocent civilian black brothers and sisters from untimely death . I think I should just start a thread about Burundi |

Any pics of the Namibian contingent in the DRC? Honestly I have no clue I suggest you contact NBC and One Africa to ask them whether they can provide you with some DRC footage...I've tried it before it works Other than that...this is the only picture I have

jln115: Well it all depends on the amount of troops they sent to Amani , which I personally believe wasn't anything significan. But yes it is definitely a possible threat, that they could use the training received at Amani against the ASF, the SANDF face a similar threat in the DRC were they train government troops. Those Burundians are no joke I tell you back in Congo they targeted Namibian Y-12 transports with SAMs and AA guns forcing the Namibians on the ground to miss out on a week's worth of rations and shoot gorillas instead |

jln115: Wonder if the deployment will consist out of the AUs African standby force (ASF) ? Hmmmm but Burundi is part of the ASF no? So if the were to deploy...this might sound a bit vague burnt worry is that Burundians will use the tactics they learned at AMANI to counter to ASF |

stillchris: i don't think AU will deploy without permissiin from burundian government.
unless there's evidence of genocide and the UNSC gives the go ahead I think they were given 96 hours to comply or be invaded or something like that *Laughing emoji* the Force should just be prepared to engage with forces loyal to the sitting President |
