Sessegnon and Tom Cairney, who is named in midfield along

Blades have five in League One side
Sheffield United, who sealed promotion to the
Championship on 8 April, have five players in the League
One team of the year.
They are goalkeeper Simon Moore, defender Kieron
Freeman, midfielders Mark Duffy and John Fleck and the
country's top goalscorer, Billy Sharp, who has 27 goals to his
name this campaign.
Bolton, who can join the Blades in the second tier if results
go their way this weekend, provide defenders Mark Beevers
and David Wheater.
Bradford left-back James Meredith completes the back four,
while Scunthorpe's Josh Morris (with 19 goals to his name)
and Erhun Oztumer (scorer of 14) of Walsall are in midfield
with Bury's James Vaughan (22 goals) in attack.
Promoted trio dominate League Two team
The top three teams from League Two, Doncaster, Plymouth
and Portsmouth, all of whom have already secured their
promotion provide seven players for the fourth tier team of
the year.
Rovers' James Coppinger and John Marquis (who has scored
26 this season) are in midfield and attack respectively, with
Portsmouth duo Christian Burgess and Enda Stevens named
in defence.
Argyle's Luke McCormick is in goal, along with team-mates
Sonny Bradley (defence) and 14-goal Graham Carey
(midfield).
The other players are Blackpool defender Kelvin Mellor,

Tonight is no different. We will qualify for the next round i believe that and we will clinch a victory tonight. A win, with quality football, after such a devastating defeat in the first leg, would be nothing less than jubilation for me, to qualify for the next round will go down as the greatest in history books. A graduate of Ebonyi state university ABAKALIKI was yesterday 8th April 2017 shot dead by suspected Cultist at P3 bar ishieke ABAKALIKI.

He graduated from the department of history and international relations Class 2016. Theo as he was fondly called was said to be coming back from a birthday party and decided to branch at the bar where he was shot dead.

Theo until his demise was a cool and jovial guy. Who doesn't look for anyone's trouble. He was loved by all.


Another guy was also reported shot on the same bar last month but he survived it.

Governor Umahi freezes EBSU account, sacks Bursar, suspends 2 ASUU leaders ON October 19, 2016 9:01 PM / IN News / Comments By Peter Okutu ABAKALIKI- EBONYI state government Wednesday froze all the accounts of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, following the impasse between it and the constitution of the current leadership of the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU of the institution. Governor David Umahi who made this known during a state-wide broadcast at the Government House, Abakaliki sacked the Bursar of EBSU, Chris Nguta because of the faulty procedure that led to his reappointment and declared the constitution of the present ASUU leadership illegal and out of order since their tenure has expired. Recall that EBSU-ASUU on Sunday by 12 midnight declared an indefinite industrial action following some perceived unfriendly policies of the present administration. The Governor also suspended the current ASUU Chairman, Prof Ndubuisi Idenyi and his predecessor, Prof. Emeka Nwakpu over what he described as gross misconduct on their own part. Umahi who agreed with ASUU over the amendment of the Law establishing the institution explained that the House of Assembly would soon begin the immediate amendment of the Law to ensure total normalcy in the University system. On the ASUU strike, the Governor said any lecturer who refused to go back to work would not be paid his or her salaries and directed the State Commissioner of Education, Prof. John Eke to open a Register at the institution to monitor the level of compliant to his directive. He appealed to the striking lecturer to call off the strike as the State government was prepared to ensure the restructuring of the entire University system in the state. “I hereby suspend all the check up dues and deductions being collected by the Union. The present ASUU leadership in place has expired. The ASUU in place is illegal and will not discuss with them. Hmmmm. Just hmmm

Federal Government College Okposi is one of the first generation unity colleges. It was first established in 1965. It operated for about two years before the civil war started in 1967, hence the students could not continue their education in the college. They were then distributed over the two other colleges, FGC warri and FGC sokoto. Between 1967 and 1995, the college premises was used for different purposes. It served as the base for biafran army, nigerian army, temporary site for federal polytechnic, temporary site for government secondary school and later as temporary site for federal technical college which was relocated to ohanso. However, with the creation of ebonyi state, fgc okposi was re-established in 1995.
