Politics › Re: Tayo Alasoadura Begs Tinubu Over Ondo Governorship Poll by gr8ofnnetwork(m): 12:57pm On Oct 06, 2016
kjhova:
Dear @martineverest; It is a cultural and historical thing. You may not appreciate it unless you avail yourself of the deeper understanding of the histories of the peoples of Nigeria. Yorubas have always had huge urban socities for hundreds of years governed by prominent men. It is ingrain in the culture for certain people, who are considered worthy, to lead the society. It is not carte blanche thou as the high and lofty can easily be brought back down if society considers that he or she has become detrimental to society. It is not slavery nor is it madness. It is cuture and it may seem strange to you only because you are not used to it and you have not familiarised your self with it. It is like how the very republican Americans can't phatom the British with their Lords and Duchesses yet this does not make the Brits foolish or something. You get?
I love your candid point. It is devoid of insult or ethnic bigotry. God bless you your hustle!

Politics › Re: Senate Will Hold Adeosun, Udoma, Others Accountable – Saraki by gr8ofnnetwork(m): 4:40pm On Sep 14, 2016
Day169:
..I think Saraki's statement is more of a political rhetoric in an attempt to claw himself back to relevance.
Yes I agree that economic hard times are here but I'd ask what the Senate has done on its own part to improve the lot of Nigerians, when we still do not know how much of the national cake they cream off yearly.
If charity must begin at home as they say then those who come to equity must have clean hands. undecided
Long may you live. May your wisdom and patriotism never die and your old age witness the good things of life!
Politics › Re: Senate Will Hold Adeosun, Udoma, Others Accountable – Saraki by gr8ofnnetwork(m): 4:32pm On Sep 14, 2016
Imagine, if economic recession is a lethal agent, most Nigerians would have gone to the place beyond before our stupendous NASS will come to the rescue! What a nation, what a woe of leadership!
Our recession is more political than economical- over 45% of our earnings goes into the servicing of these politicians(<10% of the population) - from bogus salary to allowances to serial pensions and specialised pilfering to disjointed laws and edicts to poor resource management and host of others atrocities committed by these cabals.
Enough of political rhetorics and more of action now before the unimaginable happen.

[quote author=Appleyard post=48165032]The case of delta is one that's very pathetic. People like Udiaghan simply were governor only in name, compared to Ibori, his 8 year rule was a complete and regrettable waste. The truth is, if these scumbags have been granted the right to control our resources, they would have been contesting for enlistment in the list of the world most richest men. Delta state today is one of the most richest but under developed state in the country.
Its like God has forgotten the state, and it appears even Satan has equally rejected it. Very pathetic.

Bros you wicked for your final submission! "Its like God has forgotten the state, and it appears even Satan has equally rejected it. Very pathetic"

Delta State with all the allocations accruing to it still take the Lead in DEBT profile of Nigeria. Indirectly, the future generations have been mortgaged with this debt due to bad governance and financial misappropriation. The schools are still in their sorry state, hospitals going down the drain per day, the roads( over 60%) are show of shame, infrastructural developments has eluded us with few exceptionality, the staff strength is daily depleting without notable replacement and hosts of other ignominy has bedevilled the state. Still our Debt Profile is A1! How I wish someone from the present administration( a product of Ibori/Uduaghan dynasty) can give us the historical background of these debts? Father do not leave that state alone.

Nigerians and alliterations!

Biggest achievement: TSA, holistic firmness, and ministers containment for now!

Biggest Blunder: obtaining court order against NLC while negotiation is still ongoing and conniving with an illegal NLC faction led by Ajaero( Shows the government can dine with any body to achieve his motives) to scuttle NLC and ripe the masses.

Prayers: God PMB geometric wisdom ASAP and Nigerians the fortitude to bear the pains ahead of us!

Great nairalanders and lover of Nigerians(the less privileged though), with the current leadership crisis and dissenting voices rocking NLC/TUC, I am poised to ask:

1--- was these division envisaged?
2--- is it beneficial or detrimental to the populace?
3--- wont the current FG connivance ruin the fortune of NLC?
4--- what does the future holds for NLC and Nigerians when it comes to policy making?
Your candid opinion will be highly appreciated as it will somebody like me in the forum.
