Some s/westerners are scared of being axed by tinubu,if they dont support him.they suppress their feelings so they can be favoured by this oppressors....the brave ones that refused to show their poker face and xpress their stance are being tagges' arrogant and disrespectful'.a good example of such person is fayose(though,he is too arrogant).

Dear @martineverest; It is a cultural and historical thing. You may not appreciate it unless you avail yourself of the deeper understanding of the histories of the peoples of Nigeria. Yorubas have always had huge urban socities for hundreds of years governed by prominent men. It is ingrain in the culture for certain people, who are considered worthy, to lead the society. It is not carte blanche thou as the high and lofty can easily be brought back down if society considers that he or she has become detrimental to society. It is not slavery nor is it madness. It is cuture and it may seem strange to you only because you are not used to it and you have not familiarised your self with it. It is like how the very republican Americans can't phatom the British with their Lords and Duchesses yet this does not make the Brits foolish or something. You get?

..I think Saraki's statement is more of a political rhetoric in an attempt to claw himself back to relevance.
Yes I agree that economic hard times are here but I'd ask what the Senate has done on its own part to improve the lot of Nigerians, when we still do not know how much of the national cake they cream off yearly.
If charity must begin at home as they say then those who come to equity must have clean hands.

Most people wont agree with this but stay away from Nigerians when you are in a foreign country. They dont want you to succeed or be above them. If you have to, move with people of like minds.
