Please get at least 200AH battery. Because small time, you go add DVD player, sound system, etc; and the poor thing go continue dey adjust like Nigerians.

Also ensure you go for average to quality brands else you would be changing batteries almost yearly

Better to disconnect everything if you are not going to be in for that long. Anything can happen and since no one is around for extended period to notice and take corrective actions, things might go south and you can come back to meet a burnt house.

This is really nice to hear, but I have not installed any major safety equipment especially in regards to lightning. I have left the place now and have disconnected the solar from the charge controller and battery

depends on the level of protection you installed.. i was away for over 6weeks, left my solar on with security lights and freezer running--came back zero issues, freezer was on timer socket though

As a student who is wanting to go solar you should be looking at 120-150k minimum.

I have a 150w panel and a 40ah battery. Although I might upgrade the battery in the future, my previous inverter got burnt.

You can only get a system to power DC bulbs with phone charging with your budget, especially now that prices of things are increasing daily.

I actually don't have to power much. Just lights, charge my phone and maybe a DC fan. Maybe I'll go for one of those 500w with an external charger and mange it
