Should we relocate to Lokoja, Kogi State for a Federal Job?

My husband and I have been in a dilemma between moving to Lokoja or remaining where we are. A Federal government job offer recently came up in Lokoja for my husband with a slightly better salary but we already have somethings going on for us were we are now (a local government area in the North East). My husband works with the government here while I'm running my own business. We have kids.

My worry now is that I don't know how Lokoja environment is. Moving over there means starting life afresh. We have no one there. I'm worried about what I'll be working on there, the social life. I don't know if there are good schools for the kids.

Please, is there anyone who has an idea of life in Lokoja. Is it worth the risk of leaving everything we have here behind? What job opportunities are there for graduates like me? Is Lokoja a nice place to be in?

I need advice, Please.

Good advise. She will get over it with time. I hate when some people advise others to seek for divorce while they are still managing theirs or have not married before as single ladies, but advise married women to seek for divorce as a solution and when it happens and the woman get her divorce, they cannot be there to help her. Women can seek for divorce if there is an abuse- domestic violience, I support divorce but not a case like this. No two perfect people on the face of this eath, just like in relationship or marriage.

Something is wrong with you. In this pandemic, where everyone is being asked to stay indoors and isolate that someone will be visiting another person? I don't want to trade words with you please don't annoy me further. I have not had anytime to bond with my husband all through this period because we have to entertain his friend. So I should put my own needs on hold so that I can please another person? Don't be unfortunate this morning. You hear me abi? Just don't be unfortunate.

Before the pandemic my husband is hardly around due to his job and this man still came to the house severally I refused to open the door because I don't know what you'd be doing in your friends house with his wife when he's not around.

This one that says he's my husband friend will come to the house and select what you will give him to eat, even if we are having a meal he can decide its not what he wants. Since covid he's been coming to this house every single day. I mean everyday. Come around 9am and leave around 7pm. The first week of covid I educated him on why people should not entertain guests in their house and why people should not visit anyone, my husband said I was disrespectful that I should allow him to do something bad so he can use his legs to run away. He thinks I have time to be following peace with all men.

What I will do to both of them?

I will call family meeting and ask my husband's parents to come and pay another bride price since its two people I'm marrying. How do you visit someone for 3weeks back to back? How? Omo some parents did not train their children abeg. It's irritating and I've had it up to here... Don't get me wrong food is not a big deal, but cutesy demands that when you go to someone's house, you respect yourself. This one will eat, ask for extra then when he's going if you made a new soup he'll ask you to give him take away. Then still come back 9am the next day. I've never seen this one in all my young life.
