Thanks for your reply, she did start transferring some of the funds to me earlier in the year to build my account, but stopped after the exchange rate started climbing rapidly. The amount she transferred to me has depreciated already so that was why we decided to leave the amount in her account in the UK.
What will you advise when it comes to time to apply for visa, should she still transfer it to me? And how do I then prove to the ECO that I got the funds cause I would then have to disclose that it’s from my sister? Is there a way of keeping the money so it remains at the pounds value?

My school requested for POF before issuing CAS,
I sent them a statement of account from the 21st of June to 20th of July.
CAS was issued in the 26th. My appointment is for biometrics is for the 2nd. Can I print a more recent statement or should I upload same thing that was sent to the school

If you're heading to school in the UK, avoid Teesside Uni except you want to stay months without a job / you're comfortable with being in survival mode

Fees are quite expensive now and it's a no brainer when you won't get jobs to pay school fees

Pls gurus in the house, this was my UK refusal 2018 for a visit visa. Spare me your precious time to go thru it.
I stated then I was self employed with my company. But now I have declared as an employee on contract with the same company and my payment is made in cash. My husband is my employer and sponsor. Is this okay? Aside from SOA, employment contract, reference letter, employment letter, what document should I provide to back myself up? Pls i need to get this right.

I have returned to thank God and the gurus in the house who willfully and cheerfully help us on this journey. It has been an emotionally draining and challenging process but it ended in praise.

I collected my passports today for a family of 4.

Below is my timeline:
1. Application to Robert Gordon University: 14th October 2022.
2. Unconditional offer letter: 4th May 2023
3. Statement of purpose rewritten with affidavit of error of my date of birth on my WAEC - 25th May 2023.
4. 1st Proof of funds bank statement matured on the 19th of June 2023 but the naira was floated two days before and made me need 9million more.
5. Started counting towards another 28th days with funds equivalent. 2nd POF Matured 17th July 2023.
6. CAS and unconditional offer email dropped on 21st July 2023.
6. Visa and IHS payment on 22nd and 23rd July 2023.
7. Biometrics + Flexi + Priority at TLS Abuja on 25th July 2023.
8. Documents transferred and received at DMC on 26th July 2023.
9. Collection email and text message today 28th July 2023.

Documents submitted:
Main Applicant (MA) - POF Funds were in MA account since we began this journey for CAS.
1. CAS
2. Int'l passport
3. HND Cert
4. Transcripts
5. Power of Attorney of Residential property - I said I owned where I stay in my application form, hence I decided to prove it.
5. Family history and current photographs - 30 pics in total.
6. Signed Part 1 consent form by MA.
7. Booking.com reservation - because I was coming with my family, I didn't want to just put only school address of where I will be staying.
8. NIN slip - The address here did not match with that of my husband or children.
9. Affidavit declaration of incorrect date of birth on my WAEC.
10. Affidavit declaration of change of name on my international passport by marriage to my husband on so so date.
11. POF bank statement - Fidelity Bank.
12. IELTS Result - I had it so kukuma make I put am let them know I sabi their English..lol
13. My polytechnic institution reference letter.
14. NYSC
15. WAEC
16. Employment reference letter.
17. TB certificate
I graduated in 2018, had my nysc done in 2019 and been working since then.

1. Attestation of Birth letter from National population commission since birth certificate couldn't be found.

I'm an employee but no one depends on me financially. If i answer no, the space to fill my kids details under dependant will clear off. Does it matter? If i answer yes, will I be required to provide any financial document? It's complicated for me pls

Please go
back to your bank, request for details of the transfer you made to the school. There's likely and error that would make it no to deliver. I once had similar issues till I went back to fix it and It went well.

I have sent countless mails with proof and colid and made several calls.

This school just be like Dem dey play with people money.

My next option is how to ask for reversel from the bank.

Don't know if international transfer can be reversed make I collect my money hold back abeg.

(Applied on the day application opened for 2023/2024 September intake for University of Salford, Manchester. The application opening was already stated on their website prior to the date of opening, so I prepared all my documents a month before. All required documents were ready plus uploaded and I got an offer letter 4 hours after submission because offer were based on First come first serve)

Unconditional offer: 30th May, 2023.
(Form A made the duration long)

CAS Statement issuance: 7th of July, 2023.
(School took a month to process CAS due to average processing period of 2 weeks, FX fluctuations which made me to pay additional and most of Tuition fees)

Your question or issue is hardly new on Nairaland because I didn’t have any reason to ask any questions during my process because the answers were all here. Although there is no harm asking but it will save you time.

You should book a day for the tb test now, it's difficult finding a close date.

Wait till decision is made. They can call the bank or ask you to reprint your statement if I'm not mistaken.
