ityP:Thanks for showing your foolishness for the forum to enjoy. Stupidity at its finest. |
Arsenate:Your point exactly being? |
ityP:Your comment sums up your level of reasoning and thinking capacity. Rape is a capital felony crime in all corners of the world, dating someone, even for a teenager, is not a crime. Your definition of promiscuity is more so idiotic. A teenage girl having a boyfriend is now deemed promiscuous? Promiscuity : miscellaneous mingling or selection of persons or things : (merriam-webster) characterized by or involving indiscriminate mingling or association, especially having sexual relations with a number of partners on a casual basis. (http://dictionary.reference.com) If you can label a teenage girl in a 2 year relationship as promiscuous, and that was your genuine inference from the story, then spare us your further illogical and uneducated responses. |
naijaboiy:The level of ignorance, or shall I say sheer idiocy on here is astounding. |
Some dimwits on here justifying rape? Nothing can ever justify such inhumane act, so is murder. Nothing should ever justify those. It's easy to see that the lady in question was just a victim of being born and bred in the wrong environment. She probably had, and obviously still have, a difficult childhood; typical signs of poor parental guidance or even total lack of it. She was probably caught up with the wrong crowd during her tender and formative years and these are telling in the narrative. For those claiming moral high ground, the difference between you insufferable hypocrites and the helpless girl is that you all were lucky to be born in a decent environment. Imagine your father took off when you were little, mother hopping in and out of abusive relationships and no relative to look out for you. Now do you see yourself turning out to be the Mary/Joseph y'all claim to be? My 24 year old Brother is a recent graduate who still lives with my parents and he dare not be caught out any latter than 9pm. He is just lucky he has parents who care. Many don't enjoy that luxury. |
herald9:If a comment such as this, on a matter such as this, can garner so much likes and shares, then we have a long way to go in this Country. Shameless and appalling comment. |
Nice entries guys. keep them coming. I must say however that I respect these artistes as they all found a way to make money out of their talents or lack thereof. Pulling that off deserves respect. |
MrTeymee:This got me laughing. I agree with your perspective to an extent. I do believe Davido is talented tho'. |
Indifferent:Good to know I'm not alone. |
nickz:Good one there man. Big Sean can be forgiven cos he isn't half as popular as others in your list. |
Jregz:Lol. Hate is a strong word. I don't hate her but I don't like her. Importantly, her music just ain't for me. |
wizard007:Indifferent about her. Don't understand the hype tho. |
Beesluv:Oh! Why now? I love Drake. Good one. |
Everybody has at least one artiste everybody likes but you just don't like. Maybe it's their music you can't relate to or their perceived personality you find repulsive or for no reason at all. Mine might be a little shocking considering she is popular than the Pope and the US president combined. Not to mention she is the most consistent and talented entertainer of her generation (both gender in case you are wondering). She has a stable personal life, amid the chaos and soap opera that is the entertainment world she is in. In short, there is nothing not to like. I was watching an MTV awards show and she performed the snippets of all songs in her last album and there wasn't a single one not impressive but you won't find any on my music library except for the one she had Jay Z on. Step forward, Beyonce. Closer runner up is Kenderick Lamar; regarded as Hip Hop savior, critically acclaimed, not your stereotyped blink dangling rapper, conscious lyricism, but too taken up in his wide adulation. Believes his own hype (no wrong there of course) and quick to rub it in the face of anyone who cares to listen. Then I find his delivery dodgy, forced and unnatural. Notable mentions: Wizkid, Don Jazzy, Ice Prince and half of the Nigerian music industry. Waiting for your reasonable comments and the less than thoughtful ones as well. For those coming with sticks, shove it up your a**** in advance. |
That doesn't make you a better candidate. Bill Clinton had MouthAction in office and still regarded as one of the best US Presidents in recent history. |
Still need a response. |
Does anybody have an idea of the salary range of flight dispatchers in Nigeria at entry level? |
Most interesting and refreshing content on Nairaland in a long time. More of this. |
Typical Nollywood script. |
Truckpusher:Which country would you rather we pitch our tent with? Russia? China? |
You need only look at the comments on Nairaland to understand why this country is where it is and how bleak the future is. |
Some moronic comments in here as usual. For a country facing security issues, if the needed equipment for training, as the Nigerian government stated (if you believe that in the first place, well, God help you), are all positioned in the field, that brings more questions than answers. First among them, there is apparently not enough of the equipment, why should that be? The mysterious equipment in question is no doubt essential in the war against the insurgents and we do not have enough of it? In the event that the operators of the said equipment get killed in action where do we get new operators when there aren't even enough of it to train with. Some dimwits would suggest why the US wouldn't help us with some of theirs. Why would they, the US, just like any other country, is in for the business. Why would they give out expensive military technology for free especially to a country known for human right violation. They owe us nothing and they have no obligation to help us. |
ayukdaboss:This is the most reasonable comment I have seen on Nairaland in ages. You deserve a national award. |
SeunEatsGARRI:Simply put, you are a FOOL. With a matter this serious? Hang your head in shame sir. |
I have noticed Naija Music thrives on collaborations. You hardly find a song or album these days with just an artiste on it, like they can't do it on their own or something. That's how it comes across. I don't mean to slag this album off but it's more of a collaborative work than a solo effort. |
This came out more like a bloating as usual from an adoring MI fanboy rather than a proper, in-depth, insightful review. |
It's easy to get emotionally worked up on issues like this and dish out inhumane punishments as seen in this case. However, the difference between the alleged culprit and law abiding people like us is the ability to always act right and retain our sense of humanity. This is downright bad, especially given this happened in a university community where due process should be strictly adhered to. OAU has a culture in dealing with issues such as this in a crude way, one which I understood while I was a student there, but this method has become somewhat unbecoming. Surely there are better ways to punish these crimes than resorting to the extreme. |
Great work from the Senate, with their consistent failure at debating and passing relevant bills and effectively eschewing pertinent and progressive issues in favor of those which will continue the trend of lining their pockets. State creation? I haven't heard a convincing argument as to how that betters the economy except for the ensuing creation of redundant offices and government positions sans proper plan to improve regional governance. Life pension for the Senate top positions; don't even get me started on that. Bypassing the Executive; Well, is that some sort of redistribution of power? Except that the majority party in the legisture will be hysterically laughing somewhere. This can actually be meaningful 'if' the lawmakers know what they doing. Fifteen years of democracy have shown zero evidence of that so I won't hold my breath. The sole candidacy stuff is okay but seriously who's gonna vote for a sole candidate in this country. Well I will, I will vote for any anybody except the usual suspects. Funding for only democratically-elected local goverment is highly thoughtful. Maybe our lawmakers aren't 100% dumbfucccks afterall. |
bobo65:Ain't a Wizkid fan but I couldn't help but laugh at your ignorance. Gbagaun in his own lyrics? Have you heard of poetic license? You know the time you spend spewing garbage on forums would be better served googling some basic knowledge. Get some education man. |
I once read somewhere sometime ago it takes an average of 18 months to completely move on from a broken relationship especially one that involved intense friendship and love. While the healing time for a failed relationship might not necessarily agree with the aforementioned time frame, it isn't so far from the truth. In the OP's case, my opinion is he is still well and truly stuck in recovery mode. Of course there have been suggestions of a supernatural force or influence at work, I highly doubt this is the case. Those dreams are in fact symptomatic of your brain, body and consciousness going through a withdrawal of some sort. In addition, the realisation that the break up was indeed your own doing has taken a heavy toll on your conscience, coupled with the misjudged thoughts that you might not find someone as good as her again is further evidence this isn't a spiritual issue. To heal, you have little choice than to allow for time to do it's job. However, one way to alleviate this is to engage in moneymaking ventures. Boy, that's the oldest rule in the book and it never fails. Stop seeking someone else to replace her, that sshitt never works anyway. Have fun and sshhiitt. Destroy all things that can remind you of her, even songs and movies you used to see and listen to together. Be with friends all day, leaving absolutely no room to be alone and relapse to the thoughts of her. |
Vstuffs: Check this thread...he made use of sovereign cargo..and it takes a period between 9-14 days...u can contact him for more detailsThanks for your suggestion, I will surely take a look in. |
What is good for the goose is good for the gander!!! NOTHING JUSTIFIES RAPE AS NOTHING JUSTIFIES PROMISCUITY!!! #PERIOD
