I bought a tokunbo toyota hiace 6Y from berger in Lagos. As i got to enugu, d axle was making noise. I had to buy a new axle was 35k.
I had not started using it fully when d oil pump started showing danger which i had to replace with 30k. I had to buy tyres for 56k( 4 no ) as well cos FRSC have booked me before cos of it.. Its been asking for cash almost on daily basis. I don tire.

Why will u buy vehicles from berger? Those people r wicked. I rather go to Cotonou. I bought a 2006 big daddy from berger 2 yrs ago not knowing it was an accidented vehicle. BT whenever I go to wash the car I see picess of glass in hidden part of the car. I had to change steering, half n top engine. Shocks. Camber. Inshort early this year I dashed d car out this yr. Funny enough I had already fixed everything.
The. Young man is now enjoying the car. He said it has not given him a single fault.

Bros, Cotonou car will make police continue to haunt you till you sell that car. The amount of money you will pay to Nigerian police over the years of owning that car is not worth it. There are risks too associated with smuggling a car through the border. I am a car dealer and I know that clearing and smuggling through Cotonou will reduce my import tariff but trust me, its not worth it in the long run.I am not forcing you to buy my car but I am advising you to stay away from Cotonou cleared cars.
