shervydman:

very good one............nice one!

u might have gotten me wrong, I'm not against those agitating for separation...u see, those emboldened statements doesn't happen in Nigeria only, corruption actually exhibits itself in most African countries. if we're channeling our agitation toward fighting corruption, it would have been a diff case entirely.

its like we're fight a good course on a wrong pedestal.

what I see is that we the youths are actually fighting tribalism instead of corruption...... which is not the way forward.

if I may ask...If Biafra comes, is it not the same set of people running Nigeria that will or may run Biafra? are u sure it will be better than Nigeria the zoo or whatever they call it? why plunge into a life of uncertainty when not pursued?

if You want to know what know what corruption is like, go to Brazil, corruption is now is a symptom not the main problem.

Shame on IPOB
Shame on Arewa youths

This is what is called medicine after death, why now? All these while Igbos have been wearing awusa attire, so we did it first, but they ignored us and now that times have changed they want to act like they love us. If you want to give me an umbrella, give it to me before it starts to rain, not when I have been drenched in rain water you present me an umbrella. IT IS TOOOOOOOOOOOOO LATE!

This is the exact point I wanted to make.
Thanks for this sensible post.
Of course, with a good relationship with their neighbors, they can have access to the sea.
They can continue to even use the ports in Lagos - as long as they maintain a level head and respect the Lagos people.
Same goes for the people of SS.

Amaechi is an astute politician. Knowing how Igbos are easily swayed by petty comments, he told Enyinnaya Abaribe something to soothe his frustrations.

Wtf? No need of diverting attention, Ikwerre is south south not so? now Amechi said ikwerre is IGBO, so we will leave the zoo with Porthacourt. Ntorrr!

datibo1111:
You are quite wrong. There won't even be any issue of over population. Anambra alone is twice the size of Lagos. Now the igbos r probably about 30/40 million. Only anambra state can contain all the igbos. We would have no issue with over population in anyway.
Is population about people or is it about numbers?Tokyo is just a city, but in terms of numbers it is over populated but in terms of People, Tokyo can take thrice that number without shaking. So Bro there is nothing to fear. Don't mind those people.

does a ship move side ways? form the picture it is clear that that Japanese container ship hit the navy ship, may be the Americans thought the container ship will serve then the container ship captain thought at the same time that the navy ship will move faster.

Webmasters / Re: Is Dreamwaver 8 Compulsory For Web Design Beginners? by GrandGarcon: 12:26pm On Jun 17, 2017
on your android phone u should download Quoda, it has syntax highlighting and other tools like auto completion(mostly on the paid version), color picker for css and other things. And it is lightweight. It also has a preview window. Then go to W3 schools for tutorials for now and become conversant with Html, Css, JavaScript before jumping into dreamweaver.

If you want to be with him forever, then you have to speak with him but if he refuses to change, then you have to bear the cross.
If you say you want to leave him because he verbally abuses you, what will you then do, if he physical abuse you?
If you leave him and go for another man, what is the guaranty that he will not do the same or will you leave the new man for another man because of verbal insults?
Learn to be matured and know what you want in your married life so as not to jump from one man to another.
Finally, I believe he just cannot insult you for no reason, kindly check yourself to know the reason and change your ways.
I wish you guys a blissful life together.
I beg to differ, this advice is a bad one, I am a man my self, this man has no respect for his soon to ne wife, in most cases that is how his father abuses his mother and he picked that habit from home, look you only need the smell of the fart to know the taste of the fecal matter. This relationship is an abusive one, the weaker party should be careful.

you better call off that marriage right now or you will regret it all your life. He has no respect for you. It is better you remain single than getting into an abusive relationship.

The question you lot should ask is that what are those things Northerners are benefitting from the Igbos....absolutely nothing

But over 80percent of all your foodstuffs comes from the north....including your meat....

The Igbos should mention 3 things they produce which are being used in the north, that without those things, the northerners will shiver Just 3 things....

Ordinary tomato glut last year, the whole country nearly collapsed......

I am a Yoruba, what are those things Igbos produce that I can't do without on a daily basis??

But I can tell everybody that none of us can go hungry for a day, even tho we use our money to by the foodstuff, but they produce those things....

What aare the things Igbos produce for others to use
How many tinned tomatoes are produced in Nigeria? Those tomatoes are from Cameroun, I was there and I saw tomato farms in Bafousam.

Was it removed because it's a Portuguese word or is that just a cheap excuse you came up with?. If you feel that way, why is Lagos still on the map?

Like someone mentioned, our government didn't know internet will expose our history.
you should have asked that mofo What then is lagos doing on the same map? what is the name Gabon doing on that very map? Btw, what is the origin of the names, AFRICA and NIGERIA?

Can you see your life. I thought you will counter my post with food you produced in Igboland. I repeat, with exception of Cassava, Oil palm and Yam that can grow in difficult terrain most crops cannot survive in barren erosion ravaged Alaigbo. Pepper in Nsukka? I laugh in chinese...do you think we are talking of sustenance farming to feed one or two family.
Much of the food consumed there is from Cameroun, I am a living witness, In fact Cameroun is what I will call Africa's Biggest farmland. I travelled from Nigeria to Gabon by road and saw all these things, go to Limbe, Bafousam, Mamfe and many other places in Cameroun from there to Bitam in Gabon, You will find huge farms every here and there, food is dirt cheap there, so the supply food to Nigeria, Gabon, Congo (Brazaville), Eqautorial Guinea, in fact Cameroun supplies food to all the CEMAC countries plus Niageria. You don't travel but sit in Kaduna to pull statistics from your @55.

And how exactly were Arewa-Oduanistanis significant in African history? Other than killing each other in expansionism driven quest and lust for subjugation of weaker groups amongst each other, what did Arewa-Oduanistanis add to modern or even African civilization?
Were your arts better than those of Igbo ukwu? What were you good at other than running over the planet like salvages killing one another only to chicken out and accept colonialism on your knees, when the whites showed?

The ignorance driven arrogance, overbloated sense of importance and delusions of grandeur of an average Arewa-Oduanistani is a source of comedy for me. grin

Of course no one was feeding you which was the reason you where mere villages with the most backwardness civilization among the 3 major tribes before colonization. Igbos were insignificant in ancient West Africa history before the advent of white people. Also your population never grow beyond hundreds per village before Nigeria was amalgamated. With population explosion comes demand for food supply which the erosion savaged Igboland can never feed millions of mouths. You folks learnt the hard way during the civil war. You don't go to war if you can't feed your army and civilians.
Chai sorry! You are a lost cause
