Politics / Re: South Unity: The Delusion Of "One Nigeria" Igbo by GrandGarcon: 7:26am On Jun 08, 2017
AshiwajuFoward:
I'm beginning to think that these iPob jokers aren't really serious about getting their own country after all. It's beginning to look more and more like the whole agitation is a pretext to get concessions from the Nigerian state via blackmail and playing the victim (as usual) . You people have been making noise all over the place about how you want your own country, and Yoruba folks like myself actually respected your right to agitatate and even got banned a few times here for supporting your agitation -- in spite of Nnamdi Kanu's anti-Yoruba rhetoric.

Alas, your reactions to the Hausa ultimatum has exposed how unserious and insincere you lots are about your supposed agitation.

Considering how belligerent and hostile iPob rhetoric usually is, one would at least have expected them to have articulated how they intend to absorb and reintegrate their possibly millions of kinsmen scattered all across Naija, and make their return and resettlement a cardinal objective of their struggle.

The foundation of Nnamdi Kanu's agitation is rooted in hatred and bigotry (#Fact) , so what are you Igbos expecting in return from others after all that provocation? Bouquet of roses?? Like seriously??

It's like in their infantile minds, Ipob are expecting that in spite of the provocative and caustic rhetoric, should the objective of their agitation come to fruition, the rest of us would be handicapped and bound by some fictitious U.N law or charter that's supposed to prevent us from taking actions such as evicting or deporting their sorry assess to Biafra if and when we deem fit as a sovereign country. You people really want to eat their Akpu and still have it. Laye, ko jo, Ko de le ever werk.

Yorubas don't owe whiny and bigoted asses Jack shyt!

eodavids:
Iam one of the Igbo persons settled in Northern Nigeria, but all along while these groups called massob and ipob I have always seen their activities as madness and arrant nonsense.

However, with this action emanating from Youths of Northern extraction, I am worried. My worry premised on the fact that this purported Arewa Youth seems to have chosen to act in tandem with the wishes and intentions of the former groups whose actions I had termed as arrant nonsenses.
Nooooooo go and even kiss their ass, when E start, I Will laugh and drink Kronenbourg for each of my Igbo brothers killed in the north. How many times will something happen to you before you become wise? Me I think backwards but live my life forwards.

Politics / Response To The Yorubas Threatning About Igbo Properties In Lagos by GrandGarcon: 8:11pm On Jun 07, 2017
First of all, these useless igbo men that built up Lagos and other parts on Nigeria neglecting their own home, now you people can see how your foolishness panned out, you will carry that house on your head and return home or you make a huge sacrifice by abandoning it ( the price you pay for being foolish) or you kind of mortgage it to a bank, let the bank manage it on your behalf, remember those banks have branchesbin Biafra so they will not do anything funny. If they do, then the Biafran government will punish them by maybe nationalizing the bank, and that will be very bad, so it will be best they stick to agreement.

You put the bullet through your skull, you want to eat your cake and have it. Documents you own as a Nigerian and now when you cease to be a Nigerian, you still want to peddle such document you think such documents amount to anything.he is the owner of what! lubbish.nobody owes any land in Nigeria, they only hold it in trust for the state governor and once your people leave, the doctrine of bona vacantia sets in, all your properties revert to the state government. I bet the braggadocio op knows this, as he brags he knows law
Look at onye Ara, he doesn't even know what shooting ones's self on the foot means but wants to argue. No wonder Nigeria is backward, their finance minister keeps thinking.

Are you serious, if the owner of Lagos-the Afonjas introduce rash policies that requires Biafrans to relocate Lagos will immediately loose it's economic viability. With the above you revealed your Superficial and restrictive and bias knowledge. I was expecting some thing different it is still the same, brash, impulsive, thoughtless, chest beating tantrums.
Yes shoot yourself on the foot. Don't nigerians have properties outside Nigeria? If the owner of a said property can provide the documents that shows he is the owner and pays the required tax, why would he loose it? What about these ones that Ambode is busy destroying thier properties here and there, and your people are busy praising him?

How is Biafra going to restore and entrench our values of honesty & integrity (ezi-aha-ka-ego), love (onye-ahana-nwanne-ya), justice (ofo) and industry(mbo) as national values? Or is it going to be business as usual and any-thing-goes in the new Biafra?
One answer I have is

In IPOB draft oganogram, there is a clause I love so much. The one that says that if unemployment gets up to 10% the prime minister MUST immediately resign, where will the room for corruption be?

Another one is the fact that in that organogram, a provision has been made for all manner of checks and balances here and there, provinces making there own laws, stringent conditions for qualifying for a post, above all patriotism

You cannot complete eliminate corruption but there are best pratices around the world for tackling corruption. Transparency is the most important. Every governmental spending has to be available for public scrutiny.
Our system of government should be robust enough to demand accountability from the government of the day.

Biafra( by this I mean a homogeneous Igbo entity) will be a real nation, United by culture, traditions and language! Not a colonial estate cobbled together for sole aim of exploitation of her people.

It's also going to be a nation so loved by her people that they are all willing to die for her, that's extreme patriotism.

It will also be a nation of big dreamers.

These three core properties already set Biafra ahead of Nigeria! cool

None, but they are always at war, if it comes to war, I will not run away. Back in 67 the greatest weapon thet had was the pen(Media coverage) which Biafra did not have, now we have it and in equal terms or even more than you people do, we have our poeple all over the globe, that can help propagate our message and buy weapons for us, We are ever ready to doe for Biafra, how many Nigerians are ready die for the British fraud?

Where and where did he go in Cameroun? We all know how you dummies visit the capitals of these small countries, where the govt spends 80% of its revenue on the main city while the rest of the country is neglected, and then assume the comforts of the capital are replicated throughout the country. And if, despite all you've read here, you still think the Nigerian railway network is not being implemented, it just shows you are an illiterate dunce unworthy of further attention.
That is what you think, First of all is Abuja electricity supply constant? In Cameroon there is Douala, Yaounde, Limbe, Bafousam and other towns, they ALL have constant electricity, you have not gotten out of Ibadam but cast thoughts and pull statistics from the anus.

Most countries ''around the world'' are developing nations like Nigeria. Most countries ''around the world'' are not like the US, UK, Germany, and Japan.

Most countries ''around the world'' are in the mould of places like Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Ecuador, Mali, Azerbajian, Nepal, Peru, Vietnam, Thailand, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Surinam, Mexico, Zambia, Jamaica, Yemen, Eritrea, Rwanda, Cuba, Trinidad, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Malawi, Cambodia, Mozambique, Chad, Bangladesh, Burundi, DR Congo, Uganda, Afghanistan, Madagascar, and India, among others. In these countries, which make up the world's majority, there are myriad development issues from power shortage to bad roads. That is the NORM in the world.

The EXCEPTIONS are those western countries most of you travel to when you claim to be going ''around the world'' - UK, US, Germany, Holland, France, UAE (Dubai). Less than 25% of the world's population live in those developed countries. Remember that next time you talk of going ''around the world'' and seeing El Dorado everywhere.
Alex Ekubo went to Cameroon and gushed about the electricity supply there, you people abused him, some even said that he should develop kidney problem, you tell me you nigerams are humans! Here we are talking about real projects people can see and can use, in fact poeple are already USING it, you are here making noise about paper and white elephant projects. Was it today we began hearing of such projects in nigeria? I love how Ekubo puts it, big name wey dey kill small dog. Abegi go and have a seat.

No Nigerian here seem pained by Kenya's progress. It isn’t in Nigeria peoples' nature to wish other Nations in Africa ill. Actually, so many Nigerians elevate other African nations (undeservedly) above Nigeria. Some Nigerians rightly take issue when, just for political millage, the progress made by other African nations is used as weapon to disparage Nigeria.

In many respects, if anything, the reverse of what you stated is the case. Many Africans from other nations seem the ones pained by Nigeria’s progress, real or imagined, and yet act the wronged.
