we lose because our keeper was unserious. Even if tactics had changed, the Tunisians would have focussed on defence and no goal would have gone through. We actually didn't have very good strikers and Tunisians as always were playing bad ball and the ref were helping them by ignoring all their bad footballs. Look at this game, see how the ref is acting as if he was hired by the Tunicians.

How many goals did the Nigerian attackers score then...Sore losers..

Super Eagles did not appear to be good... They are good... The only problem they have was Goal keeper... They don't have an outstanding Goal keeper like during the time of Vincent Enyama...

As for why they were kicked out, technical team were not that experienced smiley

How ungrateful the average Nigerian can be. A guy who got through the first round with a clean sheet

U people are very emotional, so bcs Nigeria were unlucky against Tunisia and they crashed out, it means they no more a big team in Africa?

Is it not the same Nigeria that knocked out this same Cameron in the last edition?

Do you think Cameron would have found it easy against Nigeria?

You people are just too emotional, honestly !

And for your information, Cameron have not won Nigeria in a competitive match in regulation time since 1990, the one they won us in year 2000 was full time draw.

They were knocked off by a three point Tunisia. Talk of unlucky.. grin grin

When you crash out from a penalty shootout you are unlucky, when you led 1-0 by a Team B then it's......

Do you know it would have been Nigeria vs Cameron today if Tunisia had defeated this same Gambia in their last group match, we could have met Gambia in the round of 16 instead of Tunisia and today, it would have been Nigeria Cameron.

Me I just dey surprise the way Cameron take avoid big team up to this stage, honestly it baffles me.

You are right. Big teams like Nigeria , Cote D'Ivoire and Algeria.. grin grin

I wish Cameroon loses today. Gambia is the least rated team in the tournament and they look purposeful. Cameroon's would have been knocked out by Comoros if not for their strange circumstance. Cameroon's Aboubakar already feeling like Ronaldo and Messi combined. I hope today the host nation gets knocked out.

This is quite innovative. Anything to save and better lives is always welcomed.

Niprisan developed in Nigeria through innovative scientitific herbal research by the NIPRD from sorghum leaves, clove flower buds, pepper seeds etc was thrice as successful as the herbal preparations done by traditional doctors to ease sickle cell crisis.

The Nigerian scientists used ingredients already used by traditional doctors from Osun to produce a cost effective drug with mild to no side effects. Sadly poor marketing saw it off the shelves.

I have a distant relative that started menstruating at the tender age of 13, as a 13 years old she was almost already almost the size of an adult, her mum just couldn't accept the fact that her kid should be going through that and her search for a solution led her to a certain drugs which had to be imported to Nigeria every month from the UK, it cost her a fortune and the family a fortune, they could only afford it for one year and at 14 dem comot hand for the girl matter like hot potato before den sell their house untop menstruation matter.

I don't understand what's wrong with a girl menstruating at 13. That's a normal age for puberty na

Family / Re: Am About To End My 15yrs Marriage by grandlexuz(m): 10:41pm On Sep 27, 2021
Kobojunkie:
Society's roles mean nothing in the grand scheme of things except to those who place value on it, right? undecided

Roles spelt out in legal registry restricts the institution to the legal dimensions, does it not, meaning marriages freeedoms are hampered by it? That is not the kind of marriage I refer to here. undecided

I have friends who do the cooking when I go over to their place. In fact, one of them does the cooking and cleaning on many occasions since his wife is usually busy with her friend/clients on such occasions. There is nothing wrong with such a marriage setting. In fact as I said, couples should freely define their relationship based on what works best for their case. undecided

As for the Op, so long as it is his house, doing chores shouldn't be an ego thing but something that should be done by whomever is able to. I mean if she doesn't so it and he doesn't do it, who will? The kids? Anyone who os able to should do it. undecided

As for communication with the wife, maybe the OP will create another thread to tell us how that goes. undecided

I like the bolded, couples should freely define their relationship based on what works well for them. However in this case the wife's definition of a home isn't working for the husband. Three days ago I was chatting with a clan's man in anguish; his home had fallen off the rail ever since madam found a new church. She would rather perform tasks at the pastor.

You sound very much like you live in a western styled society. Whilst I can be liberal about most things a typical African marriage draws parallels to a western one. In most African culture a man could always get a second wife while in the West a fellow man could marry another. Consequently societal expectations and marriage roles can't be same in the West and Africa. If it's okay for Obama to do the dishes daily whilst Michelle does a manicure its not for Goodluck Johnathan. Just saying..

I can only wish the OP well. My own marriage crumbled four years ago after beeing treated like shit in the midst of a severe health crisis and abandoned by a woman I could give my life for. Only recently have I healed realising life is ten times better without her. For a guy who once believed in sacrifice and tolerance to make your marriage work when kids are involved, authoritatively I can now tell anyman to watch out for themselves and their sanity first.

A man is better off divorced but alive and looking after his kids than being in a grave and dungeon in the name of marriage. I don't know at what point I could consider marriage again but still I want my kids mum to be equally involved in the kids lives as much as I am.

Forget the gloss, those who you think are lucky have had to let go of many things to make even their relationships work the way it appears. undecided

Sacrifice whatever you have to, in order to make your marriage work, that seems to be the general rule. I have seen men sacrifice even their ego so they can have a good marriage. A friend of mine does the cooking and cleaning in the house, even parks a lunch box every morning for his kids and wife because he says he is better at it than she is. His family is "tight" for it too. undecided

Marriage is work and there are no roles in marriage at all - forget the meaningless lies folks spew about these things. Anyone who can do it should. Simple! undecided

I have read a few of your posts on nairaland and do enjoy how insightful you are on a bunch of things. However I totally disagree at bolded. That society in general expects the man to toast the woman, propose, pay the bride price in our African context means the union the forging has roles.

I don't know about Nigeria but in Cameroon roles are spelt out at the civil registry. If a lady created a topic on nairaland with claims of paying the rents and feeding her home for two years while the husband occupies with work and church, bringing nothing home from his job you definitely will tag him as failing in his role.

I was married for over a decade and 60% of the time I ran market duties and laundry for the home. I did out of love to lessen the strain and burden at the time. I am certain at your home if you had friends coming over your wife will do the cooking. That's a role. I am sure monthly food planning at home is done by your wife too. That's a role.

As per the OP I see everything wrong when he returns from work to market, cook and do laundry while his wife leaves from work to church with earnings that do nothing to folster the wellfare of her home. I accept with you on the need for professional counselling and dialogue to save his marriage but that too is because the wife is lacking in her role to build her home.

Hmm, I'm not a fan of Tonto, but mehn, I'm really surprised that this could come from you of all people!

Dragging a woman who's obviously been messed, betrayed, humiliated, let down and hurt by one she obviously fell in love with; Her supposed confidant/fiance? A significant other she trusted to the extent of allowing herself to be vulnerable to? Letting him see her at her lowest low?

And indirectly validating a despicable fellow of a man, a man who is so base. And has the heart to take advantage of a vulnerable woman at her lowest low, who not only loved but trusted him. Not only publicly betrayed her but going ahead to publicly humiliate and shame her and now trying to extort her by threatening blackmail with her nudes?
Is it Just to please nairaland supposed redpillars? Hmm.
I feel really let down that you could take the position though! But then, To each his own.

No offense meant btw.
Good luck.

The world doesn't revolve around Tonto. She is not the victim here. She dragged her affair into the public sphere to win sympathy as usual. It clearly backfired this time around exposing her shortcomings and dirty secrets.

I suppose you cheered on when she cut Churchill from his son and labelled him a one minute man in public. Tonto vs Kpopogri, let the game continue..
