While I hate arguing on issues like this I so couldn't avoid yours due to your intro paragraph(s). I stand with @smartpolician. The ND militants abi youths has everything it takes to cripple the Nigerian economy. Do you think any company will continue operations when it's staff life's are threatened?? It's disheartening that years after years Nigeria as a nation is yet to find alternative income stream other than crude oil!!
Permit me to make you aware that the Nigerian waters are not safe and even they navy themselves are yet to step up their game or perhaps not up to the task(i stand to be corrected) E.g are the issue of pirate along the gulf of Guinea as well as bunkering activities in the Niger delta Regions(form my references). However I must applaude you with your ending paragraph but I must admit your talk on dangote is over rated. Thank God you ain't Dangote because the way your business for the fall eh, even you no for understand am
niyidenrele:

You are too funny, with this your statement

Which pipelines will they resume in blowing up ?
The one to the dead and moribund refineries that is no longer working I guess,

Even not in 2 yrs to come will it start working ( hope you read the news that , FG just this year signed an agreement to resurciitate the ailing refineries, which won't be available till the next 3 years

May be the new one Ahmad Samad is about to be completed in Akwa Ibom,

Even the Dangote's refineries, crude oil pipelines are constructed in such a way, that no militant can lay hold of it , because it was laid on the ocean floor, tell me a sane Human who will be able to go deep down the ocean floor to blow it up ?

See these northerners have already outsmarted their southern counterpart with these controversial bills

Forget story
Nothing will happen
Couple with the fact
That the so called Niger Delta militants are very corrupt too , with little exchange of dollars bill, they will sing different tunes

Infact I leart that Asari, and the rest warlord have been given unofficial permission to be operating their illegal refineries in the creeks without anyone disturbing them

All these news are propaganda by those who felt shortchanged about the national cakes

248 nursing, uniport, what are my chances of getting admitted?
Education / Re: JAMB UTME 2021 Thread by Grateful02(m): 6:37pm On Jun 30, 2021
I must say the score is so low for nursing all tho I would had advised he/she opts for social works but with the way you're stressing more on NURSING and coupled with the fact of such a score, i bet the possibility of a admission at a university is zero(doesn't exist). Just as someone has said, Poly's and college of healths will be the best option(of which unfortunatly i don't know about both).
As to what schs, I guess each state got a college of health but I'd advise you choose the one at the plc you stay. Please try to encourage the person to cheer up as it doesn't mean THE END OF THE WORLD but rather come out STRONGER to proof doubters WRONG!

Finally its grateful02 and not grsteful02(hands on the face).
DAramis:
Abeg, someone who scores around 150 in jamb, is there any University or polytechnic that could admit the person?

The person wanted to study nursing, but going by the score, would need to do change of course and put another course (preferably in medical related field). Going by what I read in last page, radiography requires high Jamb score. What of Medical laboratory technician, biochemist or biological sciences or social works?

Please, I need suggestions. Also, if you know any cheaper school of nursing in the south south or south east the person can register and gain admission, do suggest please.

Education / Re: JAMB UTME 2021 Thread by Grateful02(m): 1:54pm On Jun 28, 2021
I doubt this. How would you compare Nursing with Radiography?? Like imagine in Nigeria as a case study, who even knows radiography exist nor their job prospects as compared to alot knowing about nursing? I'm not here for argument or further quotes but In as much as I respect the fact that both disciplines are cool but honestly to me and most people(i believe) NURSING will always be preferred over RADIOGRAPHY both locally and internationally.
P. S: I'm not underating RADIOGRAPHY,I'm only using real life/society instances.

@unknownartiste, tho such score is kinda low for both courses I'll advise you stick to nursing over pharmacy. About schs you'll be choosing I'd advise schs in the South-south region will favour you so the decision is up to you. All the best!!

quote author=Guavo post=103157820]I will love if you can consider medical radiography. It's a great course, bro. I will pick that course over nursing and other paramedical courses. Talk about suppy and demand, then you got a course where the demand is on the high side compare to the suppy (workforce),both local and inthe international scene. Saturation ,or even over saturation could take effect inthe long run, like 15+ years,on the projected minimium . But for now,it's THE hot saucy cake of modern medicine! Competition is kinda average, partly , to focus of most aspirants on medicine, pharmacy and nursing science, and hugely, to lack of awareness and information. Universities like BUK ,UNN ( the competition is crazy there!), unzik, those are the few i could remember, for now. Google search on it,but i know ,only few top universities offers it. BUK is your best bet,but insecurities in north could be a discouraging factor. Go ahead,do your findings. Remember,it's just an opinion, you decide whatsoever you do with it. [/quote]
