Jackson is an outstanding player. He has good movement, great footwork, speed and positioning. He just needs to improve on his finishing. We can also get a main striker to take the goal-scoring burden off him.

Some fans were really young in Drogba's first season. He didn't look half as good as Jackson. But Man became an assist beast in 05/06 and a goal-scoring machine from 06/07 onwards.

Albeit he is looking so tired.
God bless you for this, I remember that Drogba time, baba played rubbish till 2007 when Chelsea bought Andriy Shevchenko and that's when baba started being serious. I remember that between that 2004/5 and 2007, Chelsea used to abuse Drogba because he always wasted chances.

Sports / Joshua Gets Third Straight Win With Wallin KO by Great100000: 6:58am On Dec 24, 2023
Anthony Joshua has won his third fight of 2023 with a TKO victory over Otto Wallin in the main event of the “Day of Reckoning” card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

After securing consecutive victories over Jermaine Franklin in April and Robert Helenius with a seventh-round knockout in August, Joshua cruised to a fifth-round technical knockout win over Wallin, who had been expected to be a formidable opponent, especially with his southpaw stance.

The only defeat on Wallin’s record before Joshua came in 2019 against Tyson Fury, in between the Gypsy King’s first and second meetings with Wilder. Fury won by unanimous decision but the Swedish heavyweight certainly made it a harder night than expected for the lineal champ.

Joshua now holds an impressive record of 27 victories and three losses, with 24 knockout wins.

Deontay Wilder lost to former WBO heavyweight world champion Joseph Parker by unanimous decision in the fight before Joshua’s.

Wallin’s coach, Joey Garnache, stopped the fight as he didn’t want to his man suffer any more punishment.

It was a tremendous performance from the two-time heavyweight champion, who told his former rival Andy Ruiz after the fight, “I’m back, I’m back.”

Exactly

Man we are same boat as Chelsea

United's problem was the shoes of Sir Alex Ferguson were unfit to Wear

Like Chelsea were molded by Romans's vision

United were molded by Sir Alex Ferguson

So same problem
It will take years if not decades

Man City will have the same problem by the time Pep Guardiola leaves because the team is built on Pep's vision
Ha!!! My brother takes it easy on, Years & Decades bawo E tey now.

The problem with my club (Chelsea) is from the owners, signing inexperienced players up and down and saying you want to build for the future, even if you want to do that, you need to have some experienced established players in the squad and leaders, look at our squad, which one can we call a leader? Except for Thiago Silva, others are not even close.

During the true Chelsea era, Chelsea had Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Ballack, and Cech, these were the leaders in the squad.

Also, Pochettino is too soft for my liking as a Coach, the way is him, he is a good person but a bad coach, he is too soft, same thing every day, what he says in the press Conference will even annoy you, Chelsea needs discipline and experience Coach, not this Pochettino type

Sports / Breaking News: Everton Deducted 10 Points For Breach Of Premier League Rules by Great100000: 2:08pm On Nov 17, 2023
Everton have received a 10-point deduction after being found guilty of breaching the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules.

The news comes as a devastating blow to manager Sean Dyche and leaves the Toffees 19th in the table with just four points, ahead of Burnley only on goal difference.

After the dealing their biggest points deduction since their formation in 1992, the Premier League said: "An independent commission has imposed an immediate deduction of 10 points on Everton for a breach of the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules [PSRs].

"The Premier League issued a complaint against the club and referred the case to an independent commission earlier this year.

"During the proceedings, the club admitted it was in breach of the PSRs for the period ending season 2021-22 but the extent of the breach remained in dispute.

"Following a five-day hearing last month, the commission determined that Everton's PSR calculation for the relevant period resulted in a loss of £124.5million, as contended by the Premier League, which exceeded the threshold of £105m permitted under the PSRs.

"The commission concluded that a sporting sanction in the form of a 10-point deduction should be imposed. That sanction has immediate effect."

Everton say they are "shock and disappointed" by the outcome of the case and will look to appeal the sanction.

The Toffees wrote in a statement: "Everton maintains that it has been open and transparent in the information it has provided to the Premier League and that it has always respected the integrity of the process.

"The club does not recognise the finding that it failed to act with the utmost good faith and it does not understand this to have been an allegation made by the Premier League during the course of proceedings.

"Both the harshness and severity of the sanction imposed by the commission are neither a fair nor a reasonable reflection of the evidence submitted.

"The club will also monitor with great interest the decisions made in any other cases concerning the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules."

Everton had started to find some form prior to the significant points deduction.

The Toffees beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at Selhurst Park last weekend, their second consecutive away victory after defeating West Ham 1-0 last month.

Dyche's side now face a serious battle to avoid relegation, with Manchester United the first visitors to Goodison Park after the international break.

Travel / Four Legal Routes For Nigerians To Relocate To Canada by Great100000: 8:22am On Nov 15, 2023
One of the plans of Nigerians to get a better life for themselves and their families is to relocate abroad to countries like Canada and others in search of greener pastures which is popularly known as ‘japa’.

Without mincing words, Nigerians now see relocating abroad as one of the priorities that require adequate planning and funding.

The economic challenges and insecurity have been the compelling factors driving Nigerians out to move to advanced countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and others.

While relocating abroad has become popular among Nigerians and other Africans, it could lead to regrets if processed illegally.

Hence, it is crucial that Nigerians who want to relocate to other countries ensure they have all the necessary documents to travel and reside there.

Some days back, the Canadian government unveiled the Immigration Levels Plan for 2024 – 2026, which acts as the guideline for the number of new permanent residents who will be admitted into Canada over the next three years.

It is then pertinent to reveal some of the legal means of relocating to Canada.

Relocate through study route.

Studying overseas is a major route to relocate abroad. This requires sending applications to universities in Canada which could be Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degrees.

When you apply to schools in Canada, this will qualify you for a student visa that allows you to settle in the country.

Relocate through professional jobs or skills.

Another way many Nigerians have relocated to Canada and other countries is through seeking professional jobs where their skills and services are better paid.

As a professional, you will need a work visa to work as a non-immigrant, based on experience, age, education, and job offers, among others.

Almost every country requires a work visa, but some have specific visas for different fields of work, such as information technology, healthcare, and teaching, among others.

You need to get a visa as an intra-company transferee if you work for an international employer.

Relocate through marriage

Getting married to someone from the country of your destination is one legal way to relocate abroad. This is a common means of relocating to Canada, especially for unmarried men who find Canadian girls.

Many Nigerians have adopted the marriage route to relocate. You can legally relocate if you are lawfully married to a Canadian woman.

Relocate through permanent residency.

Another way to relocate is by seeking permanent residency in Canada as the North American country accepts permanent residency applications.

However, a permanent residency application takes as much as six months or even more to get approved.

Prior to his appointment as the coach of Napoli, I knew he was not the right man for the job....

Coming from a relatively uncompetitive Saudi League to coach the reigning Italian champions was a no brainer... Maybe a panic appointment from the board.
He is an interim coach I think.

Napoli were in talks with Igor Tudor, but the deal fell through as both parties failed to reach a compromise

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has a new coach at Napoli as the club has appointed Walter Mazzarri to take charge of the team till the end of the season, Soccernet reports.

Last season, Napoli won the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years. The team was led by Luciano Spalletti, and with him as coach, attackers like Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia flourished. Osimhen notched 26 goals and four assists in the Serie A to win the best striker, while Kvaratskhelia had 12 goals and 13 assists, carting home the league’s best player award.

However, after their super season, coach Spalletti left the team- first on sabbatical- then to the Italy Job. Napoli then appointed French tactician Rudi Garca to take over the job.

Unfortunately, things have not gone well this season, as the Serie A champions have failed to hit their levels of last season. They currently sit fourth in the Italian top flight, 10 points behind rivals Inter Milan.

Following their poor run of form, the club sacked Garcia on Monday. There were talks that they were on the brink of agreeing on a deal with former Marseille boss Igor Tudor. However, that deal fell through.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the club has now decided to appoint Mazzarri after agreeing on personal terms. The Italian will take on the job till the end of the season.

It will be Mazzarri’s second stint in charge of Napoli. During his first, he had a dangerous frontline of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Marek Hamšík and Edinson Cavani. This attack was one of the deadliest in the 2011/2012 season.

If Mazzarri gets it right, Osimhen could get a lot of joy in the attack. The Super Eagles star could surpass his previous 26-goal haul.
