Car Talk › Re: Innoson Motors Officially Unveils New Brands Of SUVs In Anambra (see Prices) by GreatCracker(m): 7:16am On Dec 12, 2017*. Modified: 7:35am On Dec 12, 2017 |
if I'm allowed to give my own opinion without being tagged as one of those names so famous here on nairaland, to be very sincere innoson vehicle is obviously not ready for customer patronage or building a superior brand yet
why do i say so......just four months ago was trying to know the amount of their one and only SUV as at then which was the G24 i think, called their customer care line after a lot of rigorous research online, the customer told me the jeep goes for 6.something million naira, couldn't really remember the price tag then, and i immediately told her point black that the car in question is still not one big auto as the brand name is literally not known, so why the high price, was also trying to explain why they really need to bring down their price so as to be competitive3 with the foreign brand, because in all honesty i can not see an innoson with the same price tag with an hyundai suv or a toyota suv and you pprolly expect me to go for innoson with no reliability, trust or brand name whatsoever. just had to end the call and think of a better Japanese brand
in a nut shell i think innoson need to beef up her marketing campaign in lagos especially and should also review her prices downward if they really want to be competitive with their foreign counterpart in the automobile industry. |

Nairaland General › Have You Ever Being Called Out Of The Secondary School Assembly Before by GreatCracker(op): 7:13pm On Dec 08, 2017 |
My squad and I slaughtered 4 out of 7 turkey belonging to our dean during SS3 extension program. He now came to the assembly ground on Monday to threaten that whoever was responsible for killing his turkeys, should turn himself in before Friday, else he’ll visit babalawo(Native doctor) and use voodoo to torment the culprit. Before Wednesday that same week, I and the boys went back and did justice to the remaining 3(we couldn’t help but to finish what we’ve started). Since it was a mission school and based on our teachings we didn’t believe in black magic/voodoo, we wanted him to do his worst. Unlucky for us, our principal was on patrol that evening and he came through our secret abattoir behind the school refectory, omo na there luck ran out on us o. We were caught red handed devouring the turkey with hot choco while roasting our teachers and the principal himself. Our case was so special that a special assembly session was held for us the following day. they designed our backs and asses as though we were armed robbers in SARS custody.

7. SHE HAS HIS MUMU BUTTON
Towima looked the room over one last time, he'd spent about an hour getting ready, his heart was beating twice as fast as it normally would, he just couldn't imagine that a girl would make him feel so anxious, Tomiwa for the girls, always repping the boys anytime anyday, he was sure his guys would make him a laughing stock if they found out what was going through his mind at the moment. He stepped back from the couch to take another look after arranging the throw pillows for the upteenth time.
"B, oya, help me use your female eyes to scan this place." Tomiwa asked, a note higher than his usual voice and B shrugged. Twenty minutes later, Tomiwa was still pacing up and down his living room, he loved people that kept to time but somehow, this was different, he'd normally have called the girl to inform her of her lateness but he just couldn't do anything now, his anxiety was so large that he couldn't think straight, then it happened, Tomiwa heard 'grrrrrriiiiinggg' of the bell and he froze, it was her! He rushed out to answer the gate.
"Hi..." he said "Hi" she replied "Um, I don't know what to say, I um..." "Well, you could start by letting me in." She replied with a replica of the smile he'd seen at the mall, the girl was really pretty even while frowning and he just couldn't survive the smile so he stepped aside for her to go in, B whistled at the girl's backside and Tomiwa winked at her, B had been the brain behind this meeting, he really wasn't interested in the magic she'd performed but he was sincerely grateful to her for the very first time.
********** "... Jeez, Akin calm down, which chic be that sef?" "Bolly, this girl set die, as take invite am come my house sef, na God hand e dey." Tomiwa said excitedly and the boys roared into laughter, all hailing Tomiwa for another job well done, they already knew the outcome of his meeting without being told. "But eyin guys yi e calm down (you guys should calm down) we didn't do anything, I don't know but somehow I just had to respect myself with her, I couldn't even mention a hug..." Tomiwa was saying but he had to stop mid-sentence, all five of his friends were staring at him wide-eyed, not believing what he was saying, even B was laughing.
"But Akintee, you fall my hand o, Wetin be this thrash wey you dey talk?" one of the guys asked with disappointment written all over his face. "Chai..." the second exclaimed "... you wey I dey look up to, you just fall, infact na cut you cut my hand comot abi which kain life be this" "Ah! Mogbe! Mo daran! Aye mi temi bami, Ah! Akintee don kill me finish, anyways sha, before I say anything, I gat to see this girl." The third said finally and it was done, the discussion was over.

6. SUMMON HER
Angel B
This episode is really me ranting, just because this is my first time being a guardian angel and all those my seniors think I can't do it!!! Okay, it was a beautiful Sunday morning and I'd just failed to persuade Elijah to go to church even though I'd liased with his mom's guardian to invite him, he'd still insisted on staying at home because he'd a movie to see. Some angels had spoken to the Almighty about my 'conduct' and HE summoned me in front of a panel.
**** Almighty: B, I believe you know why you're here. B: Yes LORD Almighty: I have watched you so far but being the fair and just God that I am, I have decided to have this hearing. (B nods her agreement) Almighty: In order not to waste any more time since all of us have so many things to do, I'll go straight to the point. How many of you, present here and now, take offence at the way B does her job (of the thirty angels present, twenty three raised their hands) Wow! B! Can you see this?? B: Yes LORD, but you are the Almighty, the only wise God, I await your judgement. Elder 1: B, based on this short hearing, I believe you should know by now that you should put in more effort. (B nods again)
The hearing continued for two earthly hours, I had my mission statement re-read to me but for the wonderful twenty four elders and my precious advocate and ofcourse the supreme judge of heaven and earth, those angels might have replaced me, not that they can but they could have. Now, I don't really understand this angels o, shebi I am the guardian angel and Elijah is my ward, I believe I understand him better than any of them so trying to teach me the best way to guard Elijah is totally uncalled for. Anyways, let me conclude by saying that your life might be like Elijah's but that doesnt't mean the LORD doesn't have need of you, your guardian angel might just be like me giving you ample time to get spent with worldliness so that by the time you drop it, you won't miss or want to go back to it. _______________________________ Hello fam, um, so sorry for the short and unstable updates, I'm sorta running low on ideas, basically, on how to connect the different snippets in my head. Thanks for understanding and remember that I love you all 1 Like |

4. WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
"Guy, how far you na, we dey AJ side, you dey come?" Tomiwa, looked at the phone once again to be sure he'd properly seen the caller ID, Jide! He thought, how could Jide of all people invite him to a church program...
"Hello... Hello... Akintee, you still dey there..." Tomiwa had had enough of this madness so he hung up. First, it was his 'so-called' guardian angel whom he was beginning to doubt because she behaved more like a demon, always showing up and ruining the moment and now Jide! His best friend and partner in crime was inviting him to church program, he wondered how Jide's conscience could let him think about church.
"Mtchew..." he hissed and slid lower in the armchair. "Elijah, wetin dey sup na?" B asked and Tomiwa eyed her, he was now suspicious of her every move, he'd fallen in her traps so much and he wasn't ready to be fooled again. "You don't want to answer me abi, okay, no wahala..." "Abeg B, I'm tired of you, you always frustrate me, everywhere I turn, I see you, everything I do, I see you, which day you go even free me sef ehn, I am tired jare, now look at me sitting at home, bored to the marrow, no nice babe to warm my bed, just on Saturday, you made me lose two girls, I haven't had sex since Friday and today na Wednesday, B, abeg, I don dey doubt you o, are you sure you're an angel of God sha abi an angel of the devil and you've just come to frustrate me ehn, abeg kuku kill me and end my misery jare abi which kain wahala be dis sef " "Are you done?" B asked with amusement written all over her face, Tomiwa felt like strangling her but that just wasn't possible so he hissed again. "You can't strangle me." B said plainly and looked straight at Tomiwa who slid from the chair. "W-w-w-why would you say a thing like that?" he asked B "Because that's what you were saying in your mind na..." "Jesu mi o... So you mean you can read my mind?" "Before nko..." B replied rolling her eyes. "I see..." Tomiwa said grinning mischievously and B shook her head knowing exactly what he had in mind, somewhere at the back of her mind, she heard angel Gabriel complaining to the Almighty that she wasn't doing her job well but that was for the almighty to decide so she smiled and decided to humour Tomiwa, at least for her to change his ways, he had to like her first so they could work as a team and then that was how the second phase of their journey began...

you just have no choice but to salute this black men of ancient times for standing up against what is out-rightly unjust and humanly pathetic, despite no support whatsoever from their natives back home, they were still able to hold their ground and fight for that freedom they believe in.
and yes, this events up there is a clear signaal that whether anyone(whites) likes it or not, Africa will someday be out of their Mental, Economic, psychological, and self induced slavery. |
