yemmy0074: Hello all,
Finally went for capturing today at ikoyi office. I got there around 10:30am, Immediately I was approached by these two minutes passport guys, I asked them if there would be need for any since capturing will he done and dey ended up convincing me on how I need at least 4 copies of white background passport, He collected 800 after much bargain for 8 copies, after which he started stories of how he know an officer with one eagle and one star that can help me and I will get it in two days. I told him I have already made payment but he still went on to tell me how online application will delay and the need for me to fastrack with his one eagle one star officer. I gave him a stern look and he just jejely left me alone.
I got to the gate and when I was asked what I came for, I told them I'm going to servicom office. Immediately he heard servicom he let me in with proper direction on how to get there. At the front dest of servicom office I met the gentle looking vibrant officer adamu, immediately i saw his tag his name rang a bell, he aske what I came for and I explained to him, he asked for my documents, arranged them for me in a brown file signed and stapled what needs to be stapled and directed me on how to go about it.
Immediately I enter the long room, I noticed everyone else had white files while I was the only one with brown file and without intoducing myself all the officers started calling me servicom. I was shock when even senior immigration officers started using sir for me, then I realized I was holding a starboy file. The whole process took less than 40mins including capturing and I was told to come back in two weeks for the passport.
DIY is the way Sent you a pm |

abimic: It is not a peculiarity of any tribe, all parts of Nigeria have beautiful women, beauty they say is in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty and fineness only do not keep a marriage, as those would fade with time. Like the saying goes, the beautiful ones are not yet born. I keep telling them this, beauty is not tribe or location specific. |

I'm happy to see this thread hitting the front page cause I was there yesterday and believe me it was just a full frustrating day. I went there last week to get my name registered on the book just so I could Atleast get an entry to do my NIN registration the following week(this week), on getting there yesterday morning (left home 5:00am and got there by 6;10am) I already was feeling the whole process would be a mess to which it definitely was, infact saying it was a complete mess would just be some gross understatement.
Calling names from the register was supposed to start by 7am but due to their selfish reasons they delayed it, it was when we started making noise and shouting at their baised way (they were ushering people that bribed them in fam) that was when they started calling names on their manipulated list. So after lots of unnecessary noise from both us and their clueless staff we started getting in.
Gave us forms to fill, they numbered the forms according to how we came in, I was number 90 or thereabout, we sat down to wait for our numbers to be called but it looks like we're just waiting for the second coming of christ.
AT a point the they were calling number 23, 24,.... Only to come out and start calling from 72,73,74 like bro what's happening, do we look like a joke to you. We were still calm and all the we started running out of patience, after the number 30 31 32 was called it was like they went on break, no number was called for the next 4hours or so.
In between all of this we keep seeing some lines of people that were not in the numbers of people that was on queue, they were being ushered into the capturing hall (they've paid/bribed their way). All these made our lines so slow.
Got pissed of the whole thing and started venting my frustration, people started joining me since thus was a clear case of cheating, injustice and corruption. By 2;30pm they've not gotten to my number, imagine that....
After the shouts and everything I got into the hall by some few minutes to 4;00pm omoh I was already tired of the whole thing, then came one of the staffs who feels I've hindered then from making so much corrupt money, came to me in the hall and was threating me that I won't do my capturing and would make sure my whole day was a waste (idiot), well he nearly fulfilled that promise though.
I never even mentioned the fact that there was no observation of social distancing and the rest except in the capturing hall, the picture above would be a picture taken when there was no much crowd.
We have a super dull and clueless leaders with one of the most lazy, inefficient and corrupt civil servants.
Nigeria in all truthfulness and factuallity is a FAILED EXPERIMENT. |

humilitypays: Men don't marry because of sex!!
In fact, if your wife gives you sex regularly for few months, you will get tired and bored....or why do you think men cheat
Men cheat not because their wife is not pretty enough, not because they don't love their wife or partner, men cheat most times out of boredom. Boredom, how .....Bored of sleeping with one woman who makes the same sound every week, every month, every year.....nothing new again....nothing freaky again.......he knows her in and out......men are born to be bored easily with sex......that's why they go about seeking for variety not because they don't love their wife or lover.....its just their true natural form.....which can only be controlled by extreme religious doctrine and belief
Many ladies usually have this false belief that their man is different and not cheating until it burst.
It is not possible for a financially successful man to be faithful to his partner in our present world because the dream of every woman or girl on earth is to date, marry or have a fling with a financially successful or famous star, which makes successful men and stars highly sought after commodity. And you know, nature didn't equip men with the same self control towards sex like women.
Always expect less and don't die in false belief.
All entertainment celebrities cheat! Only foolish women believe otherwise to console themselves! flesh and blood didn't reveal this to you |

Ehailing is a side hustle and it's best for owner drivers but then since everyone can't be owner driver, ensure you don't enslave your self to a term you can't meet.
Is the cost of fueling the car shared ?
The data to be used is it shared cost?
The airtime to call is it shared cost?
But after payment of 30k for rent....you still bear divided maintenance cost?.
I hope you pick one or two ...peace but what can I do since man really need to diversify his source of income |

PuZZyNegro: I am actually in this type of situation right now. My own case is even worse because he is my elder brother with many years apart, married with children.
I got him a 2003 Toyota Sienna to use for transportation since March, 2020.
Agreement was for him to pay me the cost of buying the car only.
That car cost me nothing less than 1.9 million including registration and obtaining all the papers he needs to drive.
As at today, I have only received 300k from March till now.
First, he started with paying lesser amount than we agreed he would be paying monthly and only paid for just four months and that was it.
It's the third month that I have received zero naira from him. It is now one story or another.
I have just decided to count my losses and move on. I knew it would get to this because friends and colleagues warned me but I had to do what I can do for a brother.
My thought is that the story will start when he must have paid at least one million. I never knew it will be this early. A clean Tokumbo car that I bought by myself and shipped to Nigeria.
Sometimes we got to do what we can do to absolve ourselves of blames.
Here's the car when I bought it sorry to ask this question, I would like to know the site and shipping company you used in buying and shipping your car to Nigeria. |

No, the indexes are against him. Why u see us igbos dey chuk mouth for e mata na because we no want pesin wey go run d country like him family business amongst other logical reasons. If he were contesting for a government position in the SW then if for no concern us, na una side be dat. It's not hate o but as long as one Nigeria is concerned we need capable hands cogent enough to steer the country away from ruin and Tinubu doesn't fit that description. That said, you would not vote the said incompetent SE governor if he ran for president tomorrow for the same reason we don't want tinubu. No be tribe something so no let sentiments cloud ya reasoning see bro, sentiment and all other things aside. As Nigeria stands now politically the only two individuals that can go into the ring of presidential electoral contest without being termed as an underdog are Tinubu and atiku due to their political influence and deep pockets. We can all clamor for the best candidates in our midst which will definitely exclude those two but truth is "best candidate" alone those not and cannot hand you the victory which is so obvious except you want to be so economical with the truth. I would have loved to have a fresh candidate like the afdb president or Mogbalu or someone sound but the reality of the whole thing is that they won't win for obvious reasons so..... |
