Bigup to team Gombe but the sun no bi small thing our face don change and the drinking water na hot water unless u can get a cold one,we go pass throuht am sha

The batch A 2013 had offically been sworn in today as corpers and we all have our experinces in the camp house or ground let us share it so other may know the merit and demeirt

For me here in gombe state,coming down to gombe is not a small journey O and there are security personal at every point when you want to enter into the city .as at the swearing in ceremonies we where about 1300 corpers but over 2000 corpers were posted here.most of the corpers in my room are from the north only few from other part of the country,the enveroment is ˚♡⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥KK⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥♡“ ,there is electricity and water,for now the soldier are very friendly,the food they say its ˚♡⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥KK⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥♡“, we have not been given cavas for now,most of the guys in my room were in the parade guide,the fun is none stop here but d demrite is the hot sun I mean hot its hot in here and the water is salty type that is dat for now

How of ona don do NYSC more then once wey ona no the best camp?

Ogbeche77: I'm serving in Abeokuta, but was at the ancient city to spend the weekend with a former classmate, so visited ur ppa briefly, cos that was the only place we could get dinner. lol, it was already late and all canteen in town were closed...

soyedamola: Sincerely,I'm just accepting the will of God to stay here,so I try to blend wats happening around me to my taste!..I even collected d redeployment form on camp..buh I had 2 later keep it.In short,It's good for any1 dat wants to redeploy but better if u stay.

@staeofmind and seyedamola you guys are really making me to have a rethink and hope something good come out of this cos I have so many stuffs I take care of in and around lag so may stick to redeployment for now.a friend equally told me that gombe is good and since I love pctures and travelling I may eventually come to love and that it seem they have new camp not sure though but with all I have hard from you guys its seem to be a nice place.hope the pupolation is not as hight as some other state in the north sha.God help me O

StateOfMind: I used glo throughout my stay in camp, and it was okay. Had room mates that used mtn, so I think mtn is okay over there too...

Have a safe trip to malam sidi camp. Its quite comfortable I must add.

And by the way, I'm female.. and I redeployed, so all I know about gombe is mallam sidi camp and the airport!

soyedamola: Hello guyz,I'm currently serving in Gombe state..nd I can tell u its d safest place in the north-east relatively.It's about 20/21hrs 4rm Lagos.U can get a direct bus(luxurious) 4rm Ijora 7up(I think dey call the place Iddo also)..d bus'll travel overnight;N8,050 is the T-fare..If not,u break ur journey,by taking Abuja 4rm Lagos first,sleep overnight,den take Gombe 4rm abuja(Maraba-park) d next morning.Farewell

How much does it cost if u have to break ur journey?and do u really like it there or u try redeploy but didn't wk? Wait Oh does this means that only a small numbers was posted to gombe?

Please what is the fate of corpers posted to gombe state? How safe is the state? And how long does it take one living in lagos get there?how much is the transport.

No Public school (uni) is safe in
Nigeria...

If you love your child's security here in the country, take them to Covenant uni, American university of Nigeria or other good private schools where they do not breed cultists, touts and hooligans (if you've the cash).

Its true that serving in a cop is mirage but how do the federal government think that by sending an engineers to hospitals,ministry,local govt and school help to train the engineers for the future if Nigeria must meet up to her vision 2020?

Thanks for dat. I don't knw why pple r taking this issue beyond its bounds. Without Jamb Reg nmbr, it wld take a camel to pass thru d eye of a needle for u to be mobilized. That is why schools are arranging quickly for their students without it to get one which they tagged as "Regularization With Jamb". As for Yabatech, those that applied for the regularization by paying the required fee nw have Jamb Reg nmbr but unfortunately they were unable to meet up before the Batch A list was sent to NYSC. Just an hour difference frm the time the list was sent to NYSC and the arrival of the reg nmbrs of those dat applied frm Jamb. So those ones r to wait till Batch B. Those that submitted fake Jamb reg nmbrs were identified and their names were omitted frm the ones sent to NYSC. Also those dat gave Reg nmbr of a year different frm their year of admission for example smeone dat gained admission 2007 and submitted Reg nmbr of 2005. They were all omitted. The early students take this Jamb Reg nmbr seriously, the better. Batch B is rlly close by.
