Nihilist: A third of Costa's goals this season have come from set pieces which the likes of Fabregas and Willian take. i think the main thing is the type of goals Costa scores. Look at that Costa's second goal in one of our matches where he exchanged one two with pedro and hazard. That is one of the rarest goals you will see costa score. But, that is exactly hazard's style of play. He likes to exchange short intelligent passes with his striker. Fabregas in the other hand plays crosses. Again, hazard draws players to himself and free Fabregas to play in a pass or cross. That is why both have a very good understanding and hazard is always passing to the person who gets the assist. |

You named Iniesta, Ribery and Zidane as people who made podium, yet they made podium due to circumstance ie UCL, World Cup etc.
You can either make podium by these circumstances or by posting unbelievable goals and assists like Neymar, Messi etc
Hazard does not post the goals and assists He has not had the luck of circumstance to win one of the big trophies.
So on which basis should he be crowned?
How is this different to Ross Barkley claiming he does not have the goals and assists like Messi, but if he can get lucky to win World Cup with England, he might be considered for podium? how many podium did ozil make despite winning the world cup with Germany? Why then is kdb better when he has not even achieved more than hazard? |

Ibime: Willians edge may be in corners this season.
If you ask me, I would tell you the quicker the pass the better the chance of scoring. Too much dribbling before passing allows defence to get back in position to challenge any chance created. these are actually matches that we watch. It is not like we don't see this chances that are created. We see costa wasting clear cut chances created for him by hazard constantly. The quick pass is it not the one that will be given to Costa where he will be one on one with the keeper and he will miss it. |

Ibime is right to insist goals and assists win games and until Hazard starts giving us mad numbers he is just like Ribery.
Jimmy and Hensben are also right to rate him based on his talent as one of the very best, afterall greats like Zidane,Iniesta and co didn't need numbers
That's why I think we need another guy opposite Eden to give us the numbers while Hazard keep killing opponents with his talent
You can't have a team made of Direct players like Sanchez and co and win a lot, sometimes you need the tricks and skill to win games...Like we saw this season, sometimes it was Pedro's directness and eye for goal that saved us,and most tines it was Hazard's genius

Ibime: I can't call it. All I know is if there's urgency in your game, and you are producing quality final passes, assists will surely follow. I don't believe in luck. I saw Raheem Sterling leading in key passes at some point of the season 2 or 3 years ago without the assists to show for it. And when you look at the type of chances he was creating, they were not clean. There are different quality of chances. When the likes of DeBruyne, Eriksson, Fabregas hit you with a goalscoring chance, the whole world and his mama knows the chance is clean and easier to score. are you saying that pedro and willian have produced more quality passes than hazard this season? |

Ibime: Quality of pass, weight of pass etc.
Whereas Fabregas drop ball for you so all you have to do is shoot one-on-one with goalie, Hazard might flash ball across box where striker has to execute a difficult manoeuvre to score.
It takes no gainsaying to know that if you heard that Wilfred Zaha for example made more chances than say Christian Eriksson, you sef will know the kind of chances Zaha creates are not quality chances, they are probably chances where he dribbles to the byline and flash the ball at top speed toward the striker making it difficult to score, whereas Erikssons chances will be easier to convert. you have a point in what you said. But, the question question is, is that totally the case with hazard? For me, I will no. I watch Chelsea matches and see the chances created by hazard and it doesn't totally correlate with what you said. Take for instance, pedro and maybe willian have more assist than hazard this season, does it mean that both play better quality of passes than hazard? The answer is no. So, you see why it is not really the quality of pass and weight of pass. For me, I think that it is in the nature of the pass the striker likes to score from and luck. |

I will be back on this matter on Monday if Hazard fails to score tomorrow, then all 3 metrics will be below 2014/15, and then you will start to explain why attack score is still higher. Mugu.
I am still waiting for your answer on why Costa discriminates between Hazard and Fabregas BTW. i don't have a conclusion on this yet, but I want ask this question. In 2014/2015 season, hazard created the most chance in the EPL, despite not taking set pieces. How come Fabregas who created lesser number of chances was able to get assists almost double that of hazard? |

Hazard 37 goals/assists in 2013 Hazard 27 goals/assists in 2014 Hazard 32 goals/assists in 2015 Hazard 23 goals/assists in 2017 (now penalty taker)
And one clown will blame defensive managers for holding him back in the past because he decided to eat too many kebabs last season and lost his sharpness. Meanwhile this is lowest season for attacking returns except kebab season. i don't want to be part of the argument, but I want to correct a notion. I think you should remove that "now penalty taker". Hazard started taking penalty for Chelsea from the first day he came to Chelsea and has been the number one taker since 2014. This season, hazard has taken and scored the lowest number of goals from the spot from the seasons you put up there. So, I don't know why you brought in that "now a penalty taker". |

KDB has been better than Hazard every season since 2014/15. Phuck is you talking bout. it is not true. Hazard made the team in 2013 with 9 goals. Moreover, Kevin's team is not shit, so he should be making the team with the advantage of his team being in the top four. In the 2015 that kdb won the Bundesliga player of the Season, hazard was still ranked ahead of him by pundits, coaches and fellow players. It was reflected in their rankings for world best and European best. Pundits and elites in the game were comparing hazard to Messi and Ronaldo, but, that was not the same for kdb. |

If Man City were in title hunt, he would be first on the list, but leave yourself in no doubt that he has been the most impressive on an individual basis in last 2 years. i told you not to use this excuse. Arsenal was not in the title hunt, but we saw Sanchez making the team of the Year. There were even complaints of ibra not making the cut, but we never got that for kdb. "[Arsenal manager] Arsene Wenger should

Chelsea's wanted list but the Belgium
international would simply not be worth the
enormous fee that Everton will demand.
Xhaka paying back his £30m transfer fee
Granted, Lukaku is a fine forward. He is not
the Premier League's top scorer for
nothing. But for perhaps two-thirds of the
mooted £80m fee, Chelsea could instead get
their hands on Alvaro Morata.
Lukaku and Morata are both 24 but only
one has already proven himself capable of
scoring against the best sides in the biggest
competitions - and it is not the striker
plying his trade at Goodison Park.
What truly sets Morata apart, though, is his
remarkable strike rate, even when restricted
to limited game time. He has scored 15
times in La Liga this term, despite only
being afforded 13 starts, averaging a goal
every 83.6 minutes. By contrast, Lukaku's
goals-to-minutes ratio is 132.4.
Morata is lethal - his shot conversion rate
is better than anyone in Spain, including
top scorer Lionel Messi - and Conte knows
this. It was the Italian, after all, who
persuaded Morata to join Juve in the
summer of 2014.
The Spaniard has never forgotten this. He
has served under Jose Mourinho, Carlo
Ancelotti, Massimiliano Allegri and Zinedine
Zidane yet says that the coach who invested
the most faith in him is the one for whom
he has never played.
Morata says that will change "sooner or

Ibime: Let me tell you, Begovic is as good a backup as you can hope to get. Backup goalkeepers usually become shyte from sitting on the bench, every one of them. You only hope to get one who doesn't make mistakes when called upon, and Bego doesn't.
I'm sure you remember Carlo Cudicini who was a top class keeper for Chelsea, top 3 in EPL, how he started making mistakes and looking shaky once Cech glued his aßß to the bench. Same goes for Michel Vorm who was a top keeper at Swansea but now makes a mistake a game on the odd occasion he plays for Spurs.
Goalkeepers lose 50% of their skill once they become a number 2. That is because the art of goalkeeping requires you to constantly practice in situational scenarios every single week, whether that is coming to catch a ball in a crowded area, or tussling with opposition strikers. These situations cannot be replicated in training. Hence once you have a backup goalkeeper that makes no mistakes like Bego, you should be grateful. Between lack of weekly practice and confidence of not building your rhythm, there is no goalie in the world you will glue to bench that will not be shaky until he gets a run of games. So forget all those Tom Heaton you keep talking about. they cannot handle being backup better than Bego. exactly. |

Fom central midfield.
cc: Greatihex i know of his number of assists, which is not up to 18. But, that was not what I asked you. I only asked you if you would still rank him ahead of hazard after this season. This is KDB second full season in the league and he is yet to make the PFA team of the Season, not even a nomination for PFA award. This is a player that won the Bundesliga player of the Year prior to coming to the epl. He has already become popular with his award and 50m purchase, so there is no excuse of a popularity contest. Remember that hazard in his first season made the PFA team of the Season and was also nominated for the award. Kdb has no excuse for not getting the recognition. The issue is that he simply does not deserve it. There are other players that have been better and consistent. I hope there not going to be an excuse of his team not being champion; i don't remember the last time Sanchez's Arsenal won the league or Bertrand's Southampton being in top four or Kane's Tottenham winning the league. |
