RUMOURS: Chelsea plan Hazard swap deal for Bonucci
Desperate to shore up his new defence, the Blues coach is planning a raid on his former club and will use the Belgium star as bait Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is planning to use Eden Hazard as a makeweight in his efforts to bring Leonardo Bonucci to Stamford Bridge, according to theSun. The defender was the cornerstone of Conte's Juventus team that lifted three consecutive Serie A titles under his tenure before he left for Italy in 2014. And with the Blues looking far from convincing in defence, he would be prepared to dispense with the Belgium star in order to convince Juve to sell their lynchpin. The Bianconeri are keen on a big cash deal plus Cesc Fabregas, but Conte believes he can save transfer funds by sending Hazard to Turin instead of the midfielder. |

DonOms: Introversion and Extroversion traits are not exactly distinct hence the idea of Introversion-Extroversion continuum. Just think of a PH Scale. So one can only SLIGHTLY slide along the scale but never make an abrupt change.
What you can overcome is shyness, fear of public speaking, level of difficulty of engaging in small talks e.t.c. These are common in Introverts but doesn't define introversion. So there can't actually be a CHANGE but only management of social skills.
For example, introverts react highly to dopamine and can easily get worn out from small talks and crowded places, thereby often needing a recharge moment (alone time). Now, that's something you can't change by flipping a switch.
So if you think you changed abruptly, you may have been very close to the midpoint on the continuum, so making certain lifestyle choices enabled you to keep a certain "balance." This balance is very beneficial as you mentioned but the ease of attaining it varies from introvert to introvert. hmm. Interesting. |

Olarewajub: @ Greatihex I hope you know the difference between Shyness and Introversion. How can you do away with introversion, can Temperament be change? overcoming introversion is by determing to get out of the box. The determination will lead to adventure. Just free yourselve and do what your first thoughts tell you sometimes without thinking it through. For temperament, it can only be controlled not changed. |

Used to be a complete introvert, but changed overnight, because of my love for football and reasonable arguments. Though, I still have the traits of an introvert, but I am trying to change some while still keeping some.
Being an introvert has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that you will rarely get into trouble and you will not get to meet bad characters. The disadvantages is that you will not be well connected, as knowing more people gives you more connection. Another one is that you will not be able to know different characters of humans, which is not ideal for surviving in a place like Nigeria. You have to study people to know how to deal with them, especially in business.
Another thing is that, being an introvert makes you a deep thinker. This is a trait which has its advantages and disadvantages. Thinking deep will make you think through everything before making decisions, which is time consuming and is not needed in some professions in a way e.g engineering. But, on the other hand, it ensures sound decision making with little or no flaws. |

donjazet: Moses, Success Face NFF Bans Over Zambia ‘Snub’
The Nigeria Football Federation are not happy with the duo of Victor Moses and Isaac Success for excusing themselves from Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola on the grounds of being injured. Feelers from the Glass House revealed that the NFF doubt the authenticity of the duo's claim of being injured and have resolved to investigate their claims and if found to be false, will discipline them and this may even lead to their being banned from future invitations. Both players put up excellent performances in their respective games in the Premier League in England over the last weekend and won the man of the match prizes. Success, a second half substitute, scored the equaliser for Watford against Bournemouth while Moses who started his first league game for Chelsea in three years was substituted late in the game against Hull. "We know the two players had good games and there was no sign of injury on the duo during or after the game," an NFF source told Completesportsnigeria.com. "It came as a surprise to hear later that Moses was injured and that he would not be available for the game and Success finished his team's game before claiming injury. "Honestly, they won't go unpunished if our investigation turns out as we are suspecting. In fact, we are considering writing a protest to FIFA if we find out that they connived with their respective clubs to feign injuries and stay away from the matches.

They are the two greatest now. You should know that success has a lot of enemies. |

Mehn! Manchester city have been soundly beaten. I just love the way Tottenham played. Every one of them was ready to win.
The last time I really enjoyed Chelsea match was last season when we ended Tottenham's hope of winning the title. We really played with intensity and passion. That is how I want Chelsea to be playing. |

nateevs: Excel going forward you say.
ManCity - Sterling, Aguero, Molito, Toure, Gundogan, Silva, DeBRyune, Sane, Ihenacho . . . . Arsenal - Carzola, Xhaka, Ozil, Ramsey, Perez, Chamberlain, Sanchez, Iwobi, Liverpool - Lallana, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Firminio, Mane, Surridge, Origi. . .
Have you seen those players? Please tell me what is common with these players? Brilliant technical ability on the ball, passing ability way above average, vision and football intelligence. Tell me if this doesn't immediately half the work of the manager.
Please tell me what we have at Chelsea. I mean, Ramires was being paraded as one of the starting 11 of Chelsea this time last year by Mr Defensive football, while the likes of DeBruyne, Mata, Luiz and other ball holding players were being sold. Rami-fucking-res in our midfield for Bleep's sake - only because he could run.
For 3 seasons, I complained about the same deficiencies - Hazard being our only creative outlet. I complained about Willian being of average output, about our 'method of attack' amongst many others. Now these issues we consciously condoned are coming back to bite us in the ass.
Let's have perspective for heaven's sake.
This problem did not start today. When we were busy spending billions arranging a mechanical team and hailing the system that created it, I was stating for years that you cannot build a dynasty when your first approach to football is preventing others from playing.
Over a billion spent and we are back where we started - mid-table.
This is not Conte's fault. Let the man some space and let us for once, accept that we need time to build anything long-lasting. even if i should agree with you, what stopped conte from getting the kind of players he wants during the summer transfer window? |

You know he can do a good job; indeed you have been pleased by one of his teams but you are unwilling to give him time to choose his own players, build his own team and get a chance to please you.
You guys are spoilt. we all saw how an article pointed out that the coach only asked for kante and few other players. While Batshayi is an emenalo signing. If he was really serious about signing players, he would have gotten at least 2/3 of them. Well, let us just wait and see. |

Nihilist: Maybe so.
The thing is that I cannot see anything in this play to suggest that patience will be rewarded.
Remember when Baba said Conte wants defensive football. I've seen enough now to not expect any attacking flair during this regime. It's alright beating the Hulls and Leicesters of this world. But it's the Liverpools and Arsenals and their likes that we should contesting with, and that's where Conte's lack of nous becomes apparent.
I'm not Anti Conte in the sense of vociferous rejection. I'm open to be won over. I just don't think it will happen. exactly my sentiments. His Italian team really pleased me. That is what I want. |
