i hate it when you mention that almost half of his goals are penalty (which is a lie). Even at that, is kdb forbidden from taking penalty? Dem dey use army dey catch people wey dey play penalty? Hazard is a specialist when it comes to taking penalties, that is why he takes it often. After all, kdb takes free kicks and corner kicks for his team, which is a huge source of goals and assists.
Aside from last season, which was a strange one for the team, hazard has been consistent all his career. His individual awards are there to prove it.(he even won one in his worst season) We cannot say the same for kdb.
Why don't you show us Hazard's stat in his first 50 games for Chelsea. We would like to see it.

Today na kdb day now, raumdeuter no go let us hear word. If na hazard play pass the way wey kdb play today, him go still find way to insult am. We know as kdb dey play on his bad day. I just pray that both of them stay fit through out the season, so that we can call result.
To think that this is the same kdb that played at Chelsea and couldn't make it. Can we say it is from Chelsea's style of football?

It is clear that conte cost us the match against Liverpool; which was lost due to tactics and formation. I am very annoyed that we lost the match, because of the points we have dropped. But, i am also happy that we lost, so that conte will know that we need to be winning matches in the first half by creating and converting a lot of chances. Also, he will know the changes he should make in the team and in his formation and style of play.
I still say that, we should give him the benefit of the doubt, at least after the series of tough matches that we have ahead. Until then, we can start judging him.
Leicester and arsenal is next. Lets go there!!!!!!

I've been weighing many options now that JT has been ruled out with a strained ligament. Do we see Luiz making his second debut for us at CB? Or should Don Conte shuffle the midfield by pushing the returning Brazilian into the midfield where he would partner Kante?

Klopp's game is heavily reliant on fast tempo and I don't see a fit JT and Gary keeping the likes of Mane, Coutinho and Firmino at bay for 90mins, chances that we would concede with the two at the heart of defence is damn high. So . . .

I think Conte should replace the injured JT with Bran at the heart of defence. Dave and Alonso as FBs, Luiz and Kante in holding midfield. Hazard and Willian on the flanks. Cesc in the hole. Costa spearheading the attack.

This setup will do us a lot of good. Defensively, we'd stay astute, with the duo of Luiz and Kante rejecting the space that'll exist between defence and midfield. Going forward, Willian, Cesc and Hazard would have little to worry about. A large part of their defensive duties must have been taken care of by Luiz and Kante, all they need do is dominate play, create chances and of course cause the opposition team havoc.

Costa seems to have his mojo back, so we can trust him to bury the chances that'll come his way.

This is my idea, It would be interesting to read yours.

i would prefer luiz at CB than in midfield. Iva desires to seat on the bench. That guy has never sat on the bench, despite all his blunders. I think matic still has something to do in that midfield. We should just allow him some time.

Moses would not be pushed out on loan by willian if was better than him. Is not the same Moses that played a full season at Chelsea when he first arrived. The same Moses that contested for the left flank position with hazard during benitez's time and was eventually pushed to the right, yet was benched by Ramires in the Europa league final. I remember some Chelsea fans arguing that he was better than hazard, yet mourihno came and his first signing was to cover the same position Moses was playing at.

yes, i don't like the unproductiveness of willian, but moses is nt a better player. Don't forget that schurrle had more goals, yet he was sent parking by willian.
Even moses could nt make that right wing position his own when he was given the opportunity in 2012/2013, instead, he sent on loan and willian and co was brought in. One thing i knw frm moses' game is that he is inconsistent.
Don't forget the barcelona and florentina flops that were also brought in to displace willian, yet willian is playing. He may nt be giving us what we want, but he is more consistent than the other options you think we have. Besides, if you observe closely, you will see that he has improved on his game since last season which i think is due to he is in the peak of his career. Maybe, it is because of his position that the club is trying to sign Griezmann. who knows?

The problem is that some of us run straight to the thread with their frustrations forgetting that what they will type here can be used against them in future. By the time they calm down, it must have been too late.

i think conte has shown to be a big game manager. You can ask Spain and Germany. I think he even struggles against smaller teams.

Sometimes I got pissed off at the way we analyse football here especially when it has to do with Chelsea. We behave as if we have the right not to concede a goal forgetting that even man city has conceded in all their matches this season.
For me, all the players did their job, even matic surprised me. It is not courtios fault that we conceded a penalty. He did all he could do. His only fault is that he is not a fast runner, which you can't blame him for cause he is a goalkeeper.
That we conceded two unfortunate goals doesn't mean that we didn't play well. We sometimes forget that these guys are humans; though they are professionals but they can still make errors and can not always be at hundred percent.
For those blaming our coach, you have forgotten the way we performed last season. Instead of blaming the coach, we should be happy that we have regained our fighting spirit, something that we lost last season. There is a return of the winning mentality. If it was last season, the players would have been happy to have gotten a draw, but it is not the case today.

For Costa, hate him or like him, he is still a goal scorer. I don't know what to make of the guy. He can be foolish at times, but he is a fighter and fight till the end. He never gets satisfied, that is why he will continue to be the number one striker for our manager. You can't just keep him out of the game.
