kingori: What date are you coming in? Without pre-empting anyone I doubt you will see someone with such offer without knowing you. You know the way it is with us Naija, however if you check AirBnB or shared hostels like http://urbanroomie.com/ you can get a cheap room.
All the best in your exams. Thanks alot. I will be coming on the 20th leaving on the 21st... I understand we tend to be suspicious but I was just hopefully cause of the money spent on train, the test and other miscellaneous. Thanks once again. |

Nzealibaba: please people that booked yesterday ,are you still booking against summer or towards october for winter. i mailed my school informing them about the visa cancellation , they told me anytime i get visa i should come if i don't meet up summer i can join winter. they asked me to choose one so they know which fees i would pay, As it stands i don't even know if I would get appointment in winter. I am just confused.
No matter the case, Please read this: the actions of the embassy has been extremely unprofessional, and has lasted now for 3 consecutive academic sessions and we are gradually getting used to it. e.g some have already rebooked appointment without asking if things would be different.
thanks. Not bad |

henrycare53: Good evening guys, TESTIMONY TIME
I applied for interview date on 4/02/2021 and got a date for 10/02/2021 but I had to cancel the appointment date as I was yet to fund my BA. Then I reapplied on the 18/02/2021 and got a new date for interview which was 23/02/2021.
Questions asked during interview;
1. How will I be funding myself after my BA is exhausted 2. Why do I want to study masters 3. What was I doing after my graduation till now 4. My accommodation plans in Germany.
Got AM on the 22/03/2021 then got visum on 29/03/2021(Today)
P.S; I applied in UAE with a valid residence permit.(There is nothing like category over here)
Thanks to all that shared their success story here to make me motivated and information I got from this thread is invaluable. @MrAAA2, thanks for your guidance, I really appreciate. I wish the rest to get AD the very best. Bookmarked |

feclela: I have been reading this Thread I got to realized that I can only apply for Bsc with my HND cert.
Now my question are:
Must I apply through daad?
Are there any schools I can apply to directly for Bsc in business-related courses?
How much would I be required to Block for in Germany.
Do I need IELTS ?
I'm asking all these to know the financial implications before starting the journey
Thank you Kekekeke and you have been reading this thread? 1. No; It is not a must. 2. You sort for schools and check if you can apply directly or need uni-assist 3. Let's just say 10,500 euro 4. Depends on your school but most times; Yes! 5. That's the end of the Q&A |

computaholicGoc: Hmm!
Berlin for sure! There are lots startups in berlin and most times require no german proficiency. But Munich ain’t bad! Having lived in both cities I will choose Berlin any day anytime.
Invest 6 months in If (already a developer){ 1) DevOps ( containerization —- docker/kubernetes ) 2) cloud computing ( aws and/or azure) 3) language ( at least u can get upto A2 german) } Else { MERN stack is hot here Data Science /Machine learning is also good }
If (student){ As a man .. learn how to barb yourself and/or others
Ladies learn how to style urself ( twisting etc ) and or others }
Learn to cook very well!
Learn time Mgt
Regards Thanks.... |

morgang: Got my U.S F1 (Masters) visa couple of months ago. That was my first time application and I was somewhat indifferent about the possible outcome. Regardless, it came handy and here I am paying some damn bills and not earning shit! Studying 17hrs a day just to catch up with deadlines- funding with stipends is almost nothing, cause you pay certain fees and house rent (sometimes out of your pocket) and at the end of the day, you have nothing.
Probably a rough start to career pathway but never come here without a solid financial background to keep you afloat. Many students are out of status and looking for who to marry! Regardless, here isn’t really EASY!
I sometimes question my presence here, not just because I hate the weather, but the bills you pay and the study workload gives you no breathing space but to deliver. I’m not whining. Come here only if you have a solid plan or live like a fugitive.
Not discouraging you, just a heads up that probably have been exhaustively addressed overtime.
Goodluck. Many will call you wicked... Some will say you are discouraging others... But they don't know what's going Only the strong minded can survive in diaspora... |

Between munich and Berlin, which is preferable for job opportunities in the tech field?
And what will you advice a person that has 6 months to enter Germany to do?
Vielen Dank... |

Fustinachichi: You are right but i feel(my opinion)everyone to their cross, when i came in 2018 Oct everyone told me no job but 2months later i found a job in a hotel close to Pfarrkirchen(*NOT SEE HOTEL, that one is Naija hotel*...check the over 9 hotels and spa in Bad Birnbach). Anyway, i think it had to do with the fact that i did not stick to Nigerians(we Nigerians love to stick to each other like glue especially whenever we go abroad), i tried to speak to other people from other country and they helped me find a job.....i live in Pfarrkirchen but sometimes i can decide to travel to another state for work and sight seeing...its an amazing experience. Have an open mind before work and bills kill u For example: u can go and work in Wurzburg,Nurnberg, Ausburg(even berlin), sublet ur apartment out , get an Apartment in Wurzburg, work, make friends, learn the language for 4months from July to October during holidays(1,500-2500)...come back with ur money, rest and pick one country in Europe to travel for holiday.......enter ur i-cant-come-and-kill-myself mode!.... The main thing is just come over and when u are coming please have an open mind. Bookmarked |
