It buys you political loyalty, it robs them of their livelihood.

Second, regardless of quite devalued the naira is, billion is still a whole lot of money, where in the world do you see the President wives donating big sums? Where? What is the source of the monies? Because she has been a senator for a couple of terms and governor's wife? Can we truly say that this is not Tinubu himself indirectly using taxes money through his wife to woo citizens?
