Lifestone:Let's attune to the message and leave the nationality of the messenger. China does not practise westernized democracy like Nigeria claims to do, so China is out the question. When Ali Baba critiqued the Chinese government he was dealt with. The message is clear, if Nigeria claims to practise democracy, Nigeria should really do democracy, not witch hunting individuals who speaks against the ills of the society. VDM is not a Saint, I am not his fan, but the path Nigeria is taking, things will get to boiling points someday unless there is a change. |
helinues:Now that EFCC has come out with their chest, that it is responsible for the arrest, any further defence in their favour again? https://www.nairaland.com/8417209/why-arrested-verydarkman-efcc By the way, which section of the law says that someone "dragging the others", (in your own words" should be locked up without being taken to court? Should he denied food? And those he dragged who reported him shouldn't be named? Not calling a spade a spade is one of the reasons the country is becoming worse than a jungle. This is the intimidation antics those oppressing Nigerians have always used. And again I maintain that his arrest is connected to calling out efcc for arresting emoney for mishandling naira and and for not giving Okoya kids same treatment when they did likewise. Every other allegations are secondary. Even if he dragged people, is it abduction or an official kidnapping the way to go about that? What happened to the court of law? So anyone can go to EFCC and ask them to arrest anyone that offended them? What is the primary functions of that commission again? Someone called the country a zoo, is he not being proved right on the daily? |
Zulu11zulu:It is called official abduction or better still official kidnapping. Which law says that someone can be locked up without being taken to the court because the person in question slandered some powerful people? Efcc, is the police, the court and the judge... |
helinues:Okay. The position still holds, either DSS or EFCC, security forces are nothing but tools of intimidation and harassment. The ills and vices in every corners of the country, the kidnapping, ritual killings and banditry activities have not been curbed in the least percentage, but when citizens express their displeasure against what the mad men in politics are doing, then suddenly the uniformed become informed enough to incarcerate and harrass. At the sound of protest, they develop their superpower I have been in other places, I have seen that Nigeria government at best is still using prehistoric, barbaric skills to rule their people. If they claim that people elected them, why are they not answerable to the people? Ruling the most populous black nation like it is 5th century. They criticized other ruling party of yester years more than this, but with them, the country has gone down the more and they don't want to take criticism. I am not a fan of VDM, either long or short, but the government which can't take criticism isn't for the people |
helinues:It is the same intimidation rule. The last video he made was calling out efcc because efcc picked up emoney. When people say that Nigeria has been captured by the powerdrunks, their paid dummies come online to defend their paymasters. A country run like Nigeria where intimidation has replaced the law and corruption is the new law...aiming for growth is going to be seen a mental sickness. It will touch everyone praising the anomaly parading itself as a government of the progressive. |
DMerciful:Who dash am strategy? Politics of stomach infrastructure. Now statistics don dey chop dem |
Whatever they may release, It might not change anything. Nigerians are not ready. Some paid fools would rather die than not support the man called BAT with all questionable traits ever traceable to a public leader |
Reno is looking for job. An hungry man is a dangerous man. The next he wants to do is to worship BAT and swear by his name. |
What most Americans are tired of? Are you playing? |
jmoore:Because they don't want to offend the north, and thus lose their votes during elections. They all know what they are doing. Running a country like a circus |
Ola64:It is a matter of time, abd observations will be proved right. PDP claimed that they would rule for 50 years. Where is PDP today? The so-called APC is not even an organic party that grew in a normal way. Those that joined are self-serving and seeking folks who are bent on getting their shares. No proper ideology and principles. That someday APC will collapse is a sure prophecy. Any structure built on shallow foundations won't pass the test of time. |
FreeSpirited:I believe that also... Institutions are named after people by another sets of people after them, after they possibly have delivered services to the people meritoriously...but heck no! These folks have taken the dishonour lower than ever known. How do you name a government institution after yourself when still office? It is a new kind of low, a record-setting low. I think Buhari started and championed that anomaly. If you are truly great, you won't be seeking to immortalize your name by yourself naming edifices and structures after yourself...but no |
We can't you all just become APC once and for all? People without personal dogmas nor ideology...anywhere belle face kind of humans. Reign only with the reigning one today, then by tomorrow tiptoe back to wherever things are happening... You all should declare everything as a one-party country |
YoungLionken:This has always been my stand. Nigerians are not ready |
Just look in the first page... You would see measly paid fools leaving the message to attack the messenger. Spade is spade. Your President cares less for anyone. Just himself, his family and obsession with power. If the present evil happening around has touched any of you guys' family, you wouldn't see any good but to condemn anyone sitting on the seat of responsibility but who has decided to run when most needed. |
A heartily comprehensive beating... |
donleo92:Have you heard the statement like "anywhere belle face"? That man is an hungry man, he would kowtow even for a baboon for a morsel. It has been rumored that appointment is already in the cooler for him from BAT. From all indication, he is living to defend BAT and APC. The same man he called unprintable names, deserving though. Next to a mad man is such who can do anything for selfishness reason. A man without an idea of what moral is isnt supposed to be called man |
brain54:You are so correct and apt. All he is doing thereafter is to save face and maintain superiority by any funny means |
Protest as a service. This is one state, for that matter, yet so divided. Nigeria as an entity, is as divisive as it comes. That's why politicians keep winning |
Reactor, taking over from where Buhari stopped. Reactive agents... |
Lovit:You got it right. The deprivation is a creation of the politicians for such tools as this. Protest-as-a-service. Even if God wants to help us as a nation, how we won't stop Him will be left to imagination. We are not a ready people. The division is too real to ignore. Many people don't believe in doing what is right in as much it put something on the table. Why do you protest in favour of an illegally installed sole administrator. Hunger can indeed deprive people of quality reasoning. |
When you hear, "aura for aura", now you can see it |
Loool Funny as it sounds |
kettykings:You are thinking like this because you are sane. Not so many would subscribe to this thinking, even with gun to their heads. Watch them still come out to defend him that that used to his past and now he is a changed person. With this type of madness and warped mindset, Nigeria going forward is left only to imagination. |
ItisWell22:That's it na This is why they want to perpetuate their political seat; a 4-year term is enough to make you wealthy...meanwhile political offices are not meant to make you wealth...BUT not in Nigeria. Beside politics, we can hardly point to what job or career he ever had to get what he has that he's flaunting now. Shameless lots. |
But where is the lie? If any opposition happened to be in power and APC is not, could they truly keep quiet and not criticise the heck out of the ruling party? What they gave Jonathan, they can't take? Part of the biggest problem is the fact that we celebrate lies and like sugarcoating it. Country is hard....yeah country is hard. Someone has traveled to France alone close to 10 times, while state of emergency can't be decleared on national health sector and so on...these and many, but you want praise singers that would tell them that they are the next best thing after sausage roll? Tomfoolery |
nothingspoil70:Everything is not trolling. Trolling won't feed you for life! This is not about Obi or whoever wants to get that boy out... it is about seeing sanity within a country that believes it is no more in the stone age. An underage serving term in a maximum prison for an offense not established or proven in a court of law? Where is humanity? If it were to be your brother, would you still enjoy this trolling? |
Hmm |
Okay |
Reno...a public nuisance doing dirty work pro bono. He can hardly blink without mentioning Obi |
Danwakae:It would go down in history that he would have been termed the best President Nigeria didn't have until now, had it been he didn't choose to grab power by force. Now he is one by force, and he is even worse than what people could have thought or imagined. He has no magic, only gimmicks to lord over people as a godfather...godfather with no life-changing values. |
Looks like a charm |
