Most cases where biological sons are taking over, believe me, it is not the very will of God. It is possible for a son to succeed his father in ministry but it is hardly like that. The dedication of the tribe of Levi to priesthood in the old testament is not a perfect picture of what is obtainable in the new testament. If thats the case, Jesus was supposed to have come from that tribe of Levi as well. But Jesus came from the tribe of Judah. How many of his disciples even came from Levi's tribe? The calling in the new testament is not by tribe or birth. A son of a man of God may also become a minister but that doesn't necessarily mean he will become the leader of the ministry. It doesn't always work like that. But in the real world and even in church, politics does happen
