I have a question o. Why does it seem like the VC of Nigerian universities is more popular than the Chancellor? Is there a reason behind this?

Chancellor is a ceremonial post, just like Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial president of Nigeria while Tafawa Balewa was the prime minister. Same is the VC majorly running the day 2 day activities of the school, Academically and administrative.
