Yh...But the reviewer was objective.

Especially the picture quality, customer service and content quality.

For those used to hi-def on large screens, you'll not like it at all...Best to opt for live streams where one can determine picture quality.

Even thought its best for football lovers, only those who don't mind the poor quality would stick to it.

They really need to sit up but I don't see the masses running away from them cos they're a way cheaper alternative.

You have a point there.

At the end of the day, those who can still afford it would subscribe, while those who cannot would seek alternatives or abandon paytv altogether....hence, a wider social and economic class differentiation....it's just rich or poor...no more middle-class😎

This is what tinubu meant when he said to "reduce the purchasing power of the people"

Crime / Re: Five Children Die In Abandoned Car In Niger by Greattha: 11:38am On Apr 23
Well, you're entitled to your opinion.

This is not about silver spoons or gated communities....

No matter how rich or wealthy one is, we all came from one village/town or the other.

As far as early childhood (E.C.E) is concerned, children (anyone under 18) should be monitored closely and regularly...wether rich or poor.

I'm not saying 100% cos they'll definitely go to school etc.

I also acknowledge that kids can be slippery.

My point is, the death of those kids was avoidable...parents need to monitor their kids more.

Gone are the days when the entire community assisted in raising kids...no one would care for your child like you would.

Offpoint1:

You probably don't have kids, nor have been around them or you have but have and was fortune with silver spoon, so you live in a gated mansion.

You have no clue how slippery children are, you can't 100% guard them. Kids can cover miles in just 5 minutes
Crime / Re: Five Children Die In Abandoned Car In Niger by Greattha: 10:28am On Apr 23
Na you sabi.

Na your papa dey drool like bulldog.

Make your comments and stay off my mentions.

No law mandating constant monitoring of children that are obviously under 18.
You're obviously confident in your ignorance so no need arguing further.
Qed.

Zeebuy:

Quit vituperating, you're not the only one based abroad. The kids in this post are old enough to know right from left. One of them is even 10 years old. I'm not parent but I have family who have kids both in Nigeria and in the US, and I know it's not possible to watch them 24/7 and no law mandates you must have your eyes on them all the time.
Kids will always be kids.

And you need to work on yourself, I don't understand why you should be drooling like a bulldog over a post. Is everything alright at home?

A car that had been abandoned for 2 years should've been locked

If you insist on that.

Oga, parents should monitor their children closely especially when they're within their environment hence my use of 'peripheral vision".

Circumstances differ but when a parent doesn't hear the child's voice or noise for 20minutes, a normal parent in this day and age woud call out .

I agree cars are sound proof especially when the screens are wound-up but the question is what kind of play did the children play that far away from the parents to an abandoned building/compound into an abandoned car without them noticing on time?

They searched from 11 to 4....how far away was the car from the parents place?

Well sha...to each his own and whatever floats your boat.

Offpoint1:

You heard they've been searched from that time till 4pm... You should know inside cars are soundproof.

The abandoned car should had been locked.
Crime / Re: Five Children Die In Abandoned Car In Niger by Greattha: 9:52am On Apr 23
Your stupidity knows no bounds if not "nonsense won't be coming from you.

Be asking me if its possible to monitor chidren 24hrs...What a stupid question

Yes some situations are beyond control but children shouldn't be left without monitoring.

Just because parents in Nigeria can lock up children in homes and go out to parties/work doesn't mean it's normal.

You're definitely one of those parents that's even if you're a parent.

Try am for here, dem go jail you.

Nonsense.

Zeebuy:

No dey talk nonsense. I'm sure you're not a parent, how can you say the parents are wicked? How possible is it to monitor kids 24/7? It's not as if they were babies
Crime / Re: Five Children Die In Abandoned Car In Niger by Greattha: 7:27am On Apr 23
What heartless and careless parents.

How can your children leave your peripheral vision without you calling out to know where they are?

Monitor your children.

Gone are the days when parents felt safe enough to yell..." lo sere nita"..."go and play outside" without fearing the worst.

11am to 4pm inside this heat

And nobody in the neighbourhood saw or heard the cries of these babies?

So sad😡

Nah....it's cos he's still innocent until a guilty verdict is given by a competent court of law. He can later claim to have made those confessions under duress and escape on technicalities with a n effective lawyer. They can even claim manslaughter from self defence because if you listen, he said the rival cult shot first.

I still don't get why 9ja police do this media trial/parades.

We are too sentimental in Nigeria.

I hate cultists more than the next guy...my smallie Cousin was killed in 100level for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Intelligent boy who finished best student in his secondary school, went to read during the day and on his way back walked into a cult clash....witnesses said he saw them k*ll someone and ran but they chased him...he got to his hostel gate but no one opened the gate for fear of his pursuers and he was cut down in front of his hostel😡😡😡.

Trust me I hate them and death to all cultists but no sentiments in the law unfortunately

Funny enuf, I worked at Oshodi when Oshodi was OshoD as it was popularly called then...the 'i' was left out... fbn at that underbridge area before Fashola's renovations. .dunno if it's still there

I would walk long distances from the bus stop to my office at 4.30am - 5.00am(as driving then was suicide), have a hot meal at one roadside canteen and barely experienced these....BUT was very cautious and acted wild too

However, we took precautions like not dressing neatly till you got to your branch. We kept our good clothes, ties and shoes at the office.

One major incident that I never forgot was when the touts went to stab a soldier in mufty...they didn't know,...when the soldiers came in their battalion, they didn't kill the touts o...they just kept stabbing them in the buttocks...everyone they caught was stabbed in the buttocks and released...see bleeding.

Omo that day was funny sha...omonile and Agbero scarce for Oshod that week.😎🤣🤣🤣

Science/Technology / Re: I Have 350k, Can I Install A Single Solar Panel For My Appliances? by Greattha: 7:02am On Apr 21
Good advice.

I don't know why people use or suggest pwm charge controllers when MPPT is the best that works no matter how little the sunlight.

If you want to do something, go for the best...there's no need rushing because of lack of funds.

OP...Be patient, get more funds and visit any renowned solar shop for a quote.

You don't want fire and other hazards from mediocre panels, kits and installation.

matify83:

Hmmm!

This is going to be a recipe for disaster.

One 250w solar panel at Isc of about 7A on a PWM charge controller will never take that battery to a full Bulk charge of 14.4V.

My guy will definitely have issues in less than 3 months after installation because the battery will sulphate from undercharging.

I will advise op get more funds and set-up something that will be worth the effort. An MPPT charge controller will be most appropriate because of its efficiency.
He will need about 2-3 additional panels for faster charging.

My guy, just invest the 350k and do a good job later.
You are not ready yet
