Foolish anger.

Now, money you could've used to settle your bill would be used to fix the bus, settle police case and still reconnect your wires.

Anger destroys.

NairaOcean:
A dramatic incident unfolded in an undisclosed residential compound when a man, infuriated by the attempted disconnection of his electricity, destroyed a vehicle belonging to the local power company. shocked

According to footage captured by the official, the altercation began when officials from the Electricity Distribution Company arrived at his compound. The officials were there to disconnect electricity due to unpaid bills, a routine procedure the company undertakes to manage delinquent accounts.

Happiness is a choice.

Don't mind the nay-sayers

One day at a time.

Keep up the high spirit.

01Happiness:
This is a motivation for every hustle out there. The pay day will surely come.Just keep grinding in your work of choosing.I wasn't born with a silver spoon but I never looked down on myself. I've been a hard worker right from when I was a kid and now at age 20, I have a place to call my own.

I have done menial jobs from clearing farms for people, going on errands and fetching firewood.I did all these while squatting with friends. They fed me because I washed their clothes and kept the place tidy.In this life, you always have to prove your usefulness to people so that they in turn can help you.

In the course of doing my menial jobs, I met a man who linked me with a fuel attendant job late last year.I was able to save up and secure my house.

Always believe in yourself.

Next thing is to save up and apply for my ND.

It can only get better from here.
Thank you lord.

There's a study that shows staring a live busts (morning and evening) prolongs life and health in men😁.

Your wife's own o....I no support anyhow own o.

Abi are all white trucks Toyota?

NairaOcean:
In a tale of survival and quick thinking, a young Nigerian woman managed to escape a perilous situation by clinging onto the back of a Toyota truck as it navigated through a heavily flooded road. The incident has quickly become a viral sensation on social media, drawing both amazement and concern from the public.

Eyewitnesses report that the woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, found herself trapped on a rapidly flooding road with no immediate means of escape. As the waters rose, she spotted a Toyota truck making its way through the floodwaters. With no time to lose, she made the brave decision to cling onto the back of the moving vehicle. shocked

Oh Please!

Quit it with your self-righteous post.

Point of correction, Nigerians are tired of these looters...it's ticking....soon there will be nowhere to hide and no one to deceive. The looters know this hence the recent craze to gag the media/social media on all fronts.

When the time is right, the youth will take back their country...no be person go tell them.

We should condemn all of them with the same energy.

What exactly was OPs purpose for this topic if not propaganda....someone who supports apc politicians and can eat thier shit because he benefits from them one way or another.

Are APC politicians better than Pdp or Lp?

Plus
Yesterday, I saw a video of one of them accusing our revered Yoruba Obas for not gagging the people and stopping them from complaining of the hardship imposed by half-baked policies....imagine...

So you beat a child now and don't want him to cry....there's only so much the people can take.

d142475:
The reaction to this post reveals a lot about Nigerians. Nigerians are not outraged by corruption and stealing. Many see it as normal and will do worse if they get the opportunity. The level of immorality, lack of values, greed, and avarice in Nigeria breaks any scale. I dare say that the average Nigerian is a looter waiting for an opportunity .

Don't be silly. Its an extremely negative and anti democratic trend. Defamation via libel or slander ordinarily belongs in the realm of civil, and not criminal law. This trend is gradually taking away years of progress made after the military. This should not be a police state where people are gagged.

I am sure you recall how someone was arrested for calling Aisha Buhari fat. Think about what you support today, because it is evolving into a monster you yourself will soon detest.

Travel / Re: Indian Consulate In Vietnam Is Robbing Nigerians by Greattha: 7:07pm On May 13
The poor treatment of Nigerians allover the world is no longer news.

So bad that dual citizenship holders no longer identify as Nogerians except in unavoidable situatios like when your appearance gives you away.

Our people misbehave and exploit loopholes, our leaders disgrace us all around without shame..it's a serious menace...that only a serious campaign of national re-orientation (with an iron fist) of all citizens can remedy.

proeast:
I just had a nasty experience at the Indian consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.

Here is the entire story:

On Friday, I went to the Indian consulate in HCMC to apply for one month tourist visa, after booking online the previous night. On getting to the consulate, the lady at the reception took my documents inside and after a while, returned to tell me that my visa has been granted in principle. That i have been issued with a single entry visa. However, I must pay 6.3000,000.00 VND about $250. I was shocked when I heard this because I already paid the agent that booked the appointment $100 thinking it included visa fees. They said it was because I’m a Nigerian and we are charged higher. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead and pay the amount to save myself further stress. But the lady again, insisted I must pay cash.

I called a Vietnamese lady who accompanied me and she helped provide the balance because I had only 3+ million VND with me.

After paying, they collected my passport, Vietnamese visa and then conducted biometrics on me. Then I left.

This morning, I received a call from the consulate that I have to pay another 8 million VND otherwise my visa would not be issued to me. I was shocked and I told them that I can't pay a dime again. They either issue my visa or refund my money. The lady agreed that I should come and get the refund. However, on getting to the consulate, they refused to give me the refund. That it was a new policy. Eventually, I left with my passport. No visa! no $250!

I'm currently feeling robbed and dehumanized. I don't know how to go about this to seek justice.

Pls can anyone help me with advise or pro bono services because I believe I have a good case and such inhuman acts shouldn't be allowed.

Granted....but the question is this; are you and I or every other Nigerian not customers to one if not all of these listed businesses?

Who do you suppose woud bear the brunt of the payment? The companies?

Cost of doing business will increae again and they'll push it down to the customer.

Perhaps the timing is just off...not now that we're looking for investors.
