Where in my post did I support violence or insinuate it's monopoly Which big picture are you on about exactly
Emphasis was on the situation reflecting the reality on ground all around Nigeria... not what spokespersons and other deceivers are painting.
The people are hungry...a hungry man is an angry man...goodluck getting them to queue up patiently for crumbs.
We were at the burial of a former Ambassador somewhere in the SW mid last year and while coming out of the service, our SUV (despite the presence of the lead pilot and chase) was almost toppled by a mammoth crowd of close to 5,000 people (I kid you not) "beggars" most of whom were women with todlers...I'd never seen such in my life. So it's not about party or anything but reality.
boxypane: You guys are really not seeing the true picture of things... Violence does not have monopoly. What stops them from following the advice of collect and still vote your choice? Must it result to chaos? Violence no get monopoly. We should watch what we support....
The first video depicts the true situation of the nation at the moment...let's hope they get the message.
You can't buy over obi Cubana (who's family currently reside abroad) and chiefpriest then assume that all the other poor people will fall in line with your agenda.
Honestly...no need for this his forced apology...he should be relocated to tehran...They will be in peaceful countries and be stoking a war they can't fight.
Dem plenty...they support the rubbish going on in those nations but give them a choice between Iran and the states,UK or Canade and they’ll never choose Iran
owobokiri: The DSS should have sent him to Tehran to defend his warped beliefs..
I sure hope the first dark boy who assaulted the junior student with a belt was also expelled....cos ain't seen that video.
I must say these confrontations between seniors and juniors happen...(I and all my mates had our fair share in Command) but this one seemed excessive...more personal and they both deserved to be expelled
Malagans: I read a post wherein a Student of a secondary school was expelled for Bullying his colleague. And that is what has informed my decision to write this.
Based on my observation, and the experiences I've had as a teacher, especially in private schools, parents are failing. There's a poor parental responsibility. This accounts for why many secondary school students are misbehaving. The schools which are meant to correct these misdeeds are rather the ones compounding and encouraging their misdeeds, insolence, insubordination and misdemeanours.
A teacher gives mathematics assignments to students, some groups of students consistently fail to do these assignments, and you can't do anything about it. But the school continues to blame you for that. You ask them to submit their notes for marking, some will not submit, the school owners go round checking their notes to see if they are marked by the subject teachers, and when the notes aren't marked, the teacher gets scolded right in the presence of same students. Like how?. I'm taking about SS1-3 students.
Imagine a student telling a teacher that's he's broke that's why he can't afford an Android phone. The teacher buys a brand new Android phone afterwards, and same student says it's a fairly used phone.
Imagine a student telling a teacher that all his clothes are Okrika clothes and not Ready-made clothes.
Imagine a student telling his colleague that a particular teacher is Stupid and then the teacher overheard it. Yet, no action is taken by the school mgt.
Imagine a student telling a his colleague that a teacher's head looks like a shield.
As a teacher, you can't flog these students and you must be very careful of how you verbally react, because, your reaction is going to be used against you.
If a student commits an offence and you tell you're going to report to the school owners, they are happy because they already know nothing will be done to them.
Students now bring their android phones to sch knowing fully well that its a contraband. Imagine students gisting themselves of how they watch porn on their phones. No matter how rich I become, I can never buy or allow my child to use an Android phone as long as they are still in secondary school. If they need to do an assignment online, I can lend them my phone. Android phone is a distraction.
I tried so hard to correct all these, but the school saw me as an enemy of the students. I was the best staff for two consecutive years, I was everywhere doing all I could for the school. Even on Saturdays and Sundays, I attend meetings on behalf of the school.
I was suppressed. I'm a no-nonsense kind of teacher. Very friendly, but strict. But somehow, I became a vegetable since I was restricted from doing what should be done.
One day, I got to work, I was really not comfortable any longer, during the break period, I told my boss that I was resigning and I handed over everything in my possession to them, cleared myself and left. Four days to payday, but I couldn't wait. My boss called to pacify me to reconsider my decision, but I said No. Till date, I never regretted that decision . Parents(some) and my good students(some) still call to check on me. I'm thankful to God for the lives I impacted. But right now, every passion I had for teaching is Gone. The passion is dead. School owners killed the passion.
My advise to young graduates should be to try as much as possible to learn a skill or two before graduation, so you can fall back to same skill(s) after graduation and earn a living with it. Do not go to any private school to teach, but if you must do so, do not stay there for Long. I repeat, Do not stay there for Long.
There was a time this wayward kid slapped the head of school at my kid's school...when the kids were discussing it, my kid said "ah if I try this my dad will kill me"...apparently someone who heard went to report what he said to the school and they called me saying sh*t like they wanted to understand the kind of environment he was living in at home...I asked the woman who called...can & will your kid be able to slap a school administrator? She said no...i said "well, I raised my kids to be respectful and he knows his limits...trust me, it could've escalated but it got sorted.
This bad child's parents bear a big part of the blame.
Orlandoo: You are not far from the truth. Some parents are something else. You cannot give what you don't have. The parents themselves lack home training too. Tell me how that boy walking with his shoulders high would train his children to be responsible in life. And the cycle continues.
See as him resemble the real Yar'Adua[best president 9ja ever had] for face but not in character...they should drop the sacks in his office or house gate...rubbish!
ogododo: People of Katsina Central have returned the rice that was given to them by Senator Abdulazeez Yar'adua.
APC must understand it is no longer business as usual in Northern Nigeria.
People of Katsina Central have returned the rice that was given to them by Senator Abdulazeez Yar'adua.
Recently, students and teachers of a school in the Ogba area of Lagos narrowly escaped death on Monday 9th of March 2026 after a four-storey building housing the institution collapsed minutes after they evacuated the structure.
A woman shares how her twin children narrowly escaped the school building collapse in Ogba, Lagos State, a few days ago❗
God is good 👍 I am happy all the students escaped.
It's really sad to hear and see how bad things have become in UCH.
It wasn't "eclxcellent" before but it worked...UCH was the pride of the nation even till 10 years ago, despite the nations challenges.
It was never this bad....UCH is now compared to state hospitals that always relied on her as the last resort😡
What now is the hope of the common Nigerian who cannot afford medical tourism like their cluelessuseless leaders who made several empty promises to fix the nations hospitals
Thank you for the good advice you guys have been giving us here.
Please I need a good and rugged phone for my wife, considering battery life, memory space and camera. Something not too fragile to be easily spoilt by my kids.
Abeg tell them o...he should not go to Oyo and spoil things....if you see how his blind supporters are clamoring, you will weep for the poor Nigerian/average 9ja yoot. It's like they're blind to their current realities....though rumors have it that their masta strategist is being prevailed upon to field one sharafadeen or so instead of him
Usmanovic95: Ready for what? federal government should hold on tight to him , we don't need him in Oyo state government house abeg.
Really Why can't the emotional supporter also support finacially as well?
Amotolongbo: This man a boyfriend or what? You are her “shuga dado”, not a boyfriend. It’s obvious you keep your woman (wife) at home and got an apartment for this lady else where for konji relief. Please mister man, allow her to enjoy emotional support elsewhere like you do with your wife.
Bwala the liar (Lai-Lie in training) thought it was Rufai or any other person in 9ja who he could control, shout at or try to influence the outcome of the interview before hand like he shamelessly revealed.
Dude was talen aback he had to swear on his "honor"...like that he had one at all🤣🤣
Daniel the brazen liar has many siblings here on NL who call white black in broad daylight because of the crumbs they get...bet he's trying to beat his predscessor Lie's records.
Svoboda: Bwala went to London for tourism and was just content appearing on Head to Head. He was obviously carried away by the glitz and glamour of appearing on aljazeera, so he is now groaning he wasn't given enough expo. Does he need expos to convince the audience why he swallowed his vommit with relish like a dog?
Good one from Tinubu..that place was rowdy af...almost missed my flight if not for help from someone who paid and got refund.
9ja doesn't have to be this stressful in everything. Same problem every time...No adequate preparation before policies are implemented...always reactive never preemptive.

Then you see them dragging rights with vehicles....much like the local Okada riders until sh*t hits the fan then the find that the dude in the car has better protection.
They often forget they're at more risk...though they bank on numbers/mob attacks to intimidate novice drivers.
Fortitude for the family.
Nemesis0147: And Abuja lost a biker last month too I guess.
If you see these guys riding eh,they ride like they have a spare life....I don't see the joy they get in risking their lives
Shay? Only God knows the kind of "agreement is agreement" that was reached between them and the incumbent.
Cos its really hard to understand why a president would fold his arms and watch his countrymen (in this case, his own people) killed and maimed without any serious action.
Troubling really.
Mattswaggz: The audacity they have under this administration is alarming......seems like something fishy is going on and/or the backing the have could be even stronger than an average Nigerian could've imagined. .
