Nigerians are frustrated, hungry and angry with their government but aren't ready to hold them accountable so they take out their frustration on folks like you and through jungle justice.
But the way aunty vehemently defended her territory na wa o... as if that would stop anything

OP I read your post but I haven't seen the problem.
Have you always had reservations with her being a traditionalist?
Have you always wanted her to get pregnant?
Note that girls washing up after the act won't stop pregnancy...It's just a form of hygiene...so that's not why she's not taking in...there may be other factors like contraceptives you don't know about.
If belle wan enter, e go enter even if she use pressure hose take wash after...unless ur "username" no "enter the place"(according to tubaba😁)
PureSperm: Good morning Nairalanders, Please there's this issue that has been bothering me for a while now. There's this lady whom I met and have been dating for about 3 years now.
Though we've been doing alright all these while but suddenly she started having dreams concerning my family. Last night, she had a dream and she said inside the dream, my elder sister was berating her why she hasn't gotten pregnant for me all these while.
The truth of the matter is that we've only been cohabiting for 8 months and she hasn't for once missed her period.
Whenever we made love, I always noticed that she'd go the bathroom to pee and wash her private part. I have asked many elderly people around what that means and they keep telling me she doesn't want to get pregnant. Is that even possible at all?
The other disturbing part is that her mother is a traditional religious woman who worships the gods of her village and my woman also does the same. Recently I've been considering on how to marry her and have even been working towards it, and would be around March, next year.
Please, Nairalanders, what could be the problem. Should I go ahead with the whole relationship, considering how her family background is surrounded by the traditional religious practices of her family and how fetish she's. Could that also be the reason she has been finding it very difficult to take in?
Please mods, help me push this to the front page so that I can hear from others experiences and get a wider advise on how to go about this.
He should withdraw it because it doesn't favour you or your sentiments?
When buhari was there doing what he/you liked, did y'all remember this Federal character or the Nigerian constitution The SE have 9 or so but you don't see them complaining.
Imo state police command has arrested one Juliet igwe for inflicting serious injuries on a seven old onyinyechi the daughter of her late husband's brother, the woman dipped the girl's two hands inside hot boiling water, use hot candle wax to inflict injuries on onyinyechi's body including her private parts
Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), says members of the Rivers state house of assembly who left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) did not inform him before making the decision.
Hmmm...or send any of the children to inform him food is ready😎
But seriously, flesh and blood didn't reveal this to you😁
If most women had this thought process and maturity, most marriages would survive.
No winners or losers in marriage...
Like someone dear always says... Marriage is the only school where you do ceremony & get your certificate before you begin classes 😁
Maryam1234: Na marriage wey never mature supposed answer the question
As for me after quarrel and he's settled I go ask babe 'Make I bring the food 'if he says yes I serve and we eat together...
Na quarrerl we query we no go starv ourselves
For early years of marriage after quarrel him chop or not E no concern me o😏Las Las he go call my mama say him wife no give am food since yesterday....
We grow with age and some emotions begin to die down gradually...
If we try keep enemy this days we no go survive because our business will be affected so we quarrel wisely and codedly, after all teeth and tongue must clash so disagreement in marriage can not be totally avoided no matter how perfect the couple claim.
"On the 19th, around 10 a.m., they told me that the Army was looking for me. I said, ‘Army ke?’ He said yes. I panicked. Which wahala do I have with the Nigerian Army? I couldn’t remember anything. Then I said, ‘I don blast Christopher Musa before o.’
Anyway, I just said, ‘No wahala, let’s go.’ Because two things came to my mind: if they wanted to kpai me, they would have done it already. They already knew where I was and they know how to track me. So I followed them.
I didn’t know exactly who was looking for me. They just said the Army wanted to see me. Next thing, we entered a car, and they drove me to Asokoro. When we got there, we entered the military base. As soon as we got in, we drove straight in.
When they opened the door, guess who I saw? Christopher Musa. The same person I had blasted online. I looked at him well. This was on the 19th, around 11:30 a.m.—no, around 10:30 a.m.
When we entered, he told everyone to step outside and leave the two of us alone. Then we sat down. He looked at me and said, ‘VeryDarkMan.’ I said, ‘Yes, sir.’
He asked, ‘Do you know why I brought you here?’ I said, ‘No, sir.’ Then he said, ‘I need your help.’
I was shocked. I asked, ‘Sir, help with what?’
He said, ‘You need to tell me everything you noticed when you went to Yelwata. You were the first person with a camera who went there. People were scared to go. So tell me everything you observed when you got to Yelwata, what you think, and any information you gathered.’
After I told him everything, he said, ‘Okay, thank you very much. We’ll take it from here. Please, if you have any more information, let me know.’
Then we took this picture that day. As you can see, it was on the 20th of June 2025.
The reason I’m talking now is because when I heard he had been removed as Chief of Defence Staff, I just shook my head. You know why? Because that man was genuinely looking for solutions.
For that man to call VeryDarkMan to his house, look me straight in the eyes—this is the Chief of Defence Staff, bro—and tell me, ‘I need your help’… that’s someone who isn’t ashamed to seek information from anywhere. No pride whatsoever." — Activist VeryDarkMan shares the story of his private encounter with former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, following reports of Musa’s nomination as the new Minister of Defence by President Bola Tinubu.

You're very right. GEJ truly messed up for allowing them takeover the way they did..he should have stood his ground and heaven won't fall. Now they have the power but they're clueless, running around like a headless chicken It is what it is🤷♂️
magoo10: but that his style of diplomacy is why Nigeria is where it is today.
GEJ is just being diplomatic with this response. You know he's not like them.
magoo10: Jonathan hasn't learnt or he just wants to patronize the tinubu government. If it were the other way round the people in government today will use it to discredit jonathan. characters in the league of Reno and co will have dished hatred and propaganda to deceive light minded followers.
You just cannot change. Instead of acknowledging for once how terrible this situation is, this is what you have to say
You and your pathetic ilk would've preferred if something terrible happened to GEJ, then you all would celebrate and give pathetic speeches of how shocked you are but God pass una.
It's a damn shame.

First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has invited Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other members of the Senate to a dinner scheduled for Friday.
The invitation letter, read by Akpabio during Tuesday’s plenary, stated that the event will hold at 6 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Asokoro.
According to the First Lady, the dinner is intended to serve as an interactive session to foster meaningful discussions on national progress.
The letter read: “I cordially request the presence of His Excellency, the President of the Senate, and distinguished members of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to a dinner which I will be hosting on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Asokoro.
“This dinner is an interactive session aimed at fostering insightful discussions on national progress.
“I look forward to receiving you and all distinguished senators at the event.”
In my day, Babes had dignity and shame. Most would even prefer to allow you to order for them but I guess that was very very long ago...
I remember my then girl would write down everything I ever got her...when I asked why she said her momma taught her to keep track so she could always say "NO" where necessary and refund.
Double0h7: Some people have zero shame! How will I pack leftovers from a date like I haven’t eaten in years 😭😭😭
It's not just any riff-raff with y@n$h and b00b$ you engage in "talking stage "....
The guy should've written it off immediately the money left his account abi does he really mean he never saw this coming a mile away?
Don't give any love interests money you can't afford to forget.
DyshApp: A young man is making waves on social media after sharing his frustrating experience with a “talking stage“, who he lent money.
In a viral WhatsApp chat screen recording shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Teniola, the man recalled lending her ₦20k and even shared his account details to make repayment.
The lady, however, responded by asking if he was actually serious about taking the money back, and tensions quickly rose.
He reminded her that she had asked him to lend her money to sort out an issue due to her app not functioning, and he trusted her word.
She still insisted that even though her app had problems, it didn’t mean he should demand repayment. She became upset, saying she wouldn’t pay the money because the app was still malfunctioning and wouldn’t work forever.
Many took to the comments section to weigh in. One commentator said, “He helped her, now she’s making him feel guilty.” Another wrote, “When generosity becomes a drama… Nigerian relationships sef.”
What started as a simple act of trust became a heated conversation, leaving Nigerians divided: should he have demanded repayment, or let go of the money.
Until Africans are truly educated ( not these ones that cannot positively impact the continent with what they've seen and learnt) and poverty is brought down to the barest minimum, this evil will not stop.
See how that country looks so much like 9ja slums/villages.
Africa has a long way to go.
RollinTNDA: Africa needs to update it's culture You can't be repeating the mistake of your ancestors
Wait o...I'm seeing many ardent @$$lickers supporting the cries of sane Nigerians...e don touch all of una? Ika, and the rest... Abi na me no look well

When last did you visit Ibadan or are you only limited to the ancient areas like beere-ojaba when ever you go there?
Abi is it old Google pictures that helped you make this uniformed conclusion about the city?
Yobabad: The better stop protesting, Ibadan needs urgent face left there is too much brown rusted roof which is an eye sore, by the way Yoruba Muslims claims Ibadan is Nigeria than the whole of SS
Hell-anus and his band of misfits would soon post a rebuttal claiming those pictures were AI generated..
Kelklein: The picture below made me believe the insecurity in Nigeria was a creation of the political class..
For those that were too young when it happened close to 11years ago.. the white man seated was John Kerry, the US Secretary of State under Obama.. when he visited Nigeria in Jan 2015.. the others seated were the newly formed APC members scheming to oust the then President Jonathan. They hosted and treated a US Sec óf State to a separate State welcome with flags of both countries as you can see behind. Those people were virtually running a shadow government while there was a sitting government in power, at that period in time.
All the things they got away with then have become treasonable offences today. Same United State they were begging John Kerry and Obama to intervene in Nigerian affairs then is suddenly not welcomed today.
Karma is indeed a b*tch.. what goes around, comes around full cycle.
