We the entire Uvwie and Urobho Nation wish to express dissatisfaction on the reappointment of Mr Mafindi a former Director of Finance and Accounts in the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun Nigeria.
For the records, Mr Mafindi has a case with both EFCC and ICPC because of fraud and diversion of personnel money meant for staff and for paying non-existent contractors in the highly revered Institute. Because of this atrocities our son the former principal of PTI Prof Sunny Iyuke tenure were not renewed and we stood with the government on that because a thief is a thief no matter where he comes from. On the same hand the tenure of the Director of Finance Mr Mafindi expired and was not renewed and there was peace in PTI.
Today after 3 years the criminal Former Director of Finance who boosted that he is a fulani man and nothing will ever happen to him, his tenure was renewed for another 4 years. We want to inform the government and PTI management that if Mr. Mafindi can come back to PTI when his case in EFCC and ICPC is still active, then Prof Sunny Iyuke second tenure should be renewed by the government. The same measure used in bringing Mafindi a known thief in the PTI community, should be used to bring Prof Iyuke Back to PTI for peace to reign. The PTI Management should fast track the recall of Iyuke now for peace to reign in PTI and its environment. If Mafindi a thief can come back to PTI then his accomplice Prof Iyuke must come too.

We will like to appreciate the Federal government for their fight against corrupt government officials and workers. We also want to thank the federal government for not granting Prof Sunny Iyuke former Principal/Chief Executive of PTI Effurun another tenure of 4 years because of his corruption riding nature.
Now that his tenure has ended without renewal like we demanded, It is time for EFCC and ICPC to charge him to court for him to be jailed.
The anti-graft agencies should note that Prof Sunny Iyuke acquired so many properties outside Nigeria and within Nigeria. He bought a mansion in the USA and Canada and has built too many malls and houses in Nigeria including Abuja the FCT.
Prof Sunny Iyuke together with the DFA Alhaji Mafindi impoverished PTI staff.
They award contract to themselves and their cronies.
They embezzled personnel cost.
They pay for contract that was not done because the money is going into their private pocket.
We are also using this opportunity to call on the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Petroleum Resources Abuja to stop henceforth from protecting Prof Sunny Iyuke and Mr Mafindi though they paid you money to get a reappointment you must never mingle with them.
PTI must be liberated from evil and greedy never do well management.

Please and please Prof Iyukes passport should not be released to him until he finishes his jail term.

We were happy when he was appointed as chief executive and also because he is our brother but believe me the man wants to close the only federal government institution in Uvwie. We will do everything to make sure that he did not succeed. Like I said he is greedy and selfish. Reducing people's salaries and deducting people s wages. Giving contracts to unknown contractors and collecting his 20% for any contract awarded.

I remember Soyinka story with Road Safety but this Prof is worst

The news of a substantive principal/chief executive of Petroleum Training Institute Effurun came in December 2016 with all the land, community and the institute in a joyous mood but little did they know that their joy will shortlived.
The Prof of chemical engineering from a south African University was the favorite to pass all the interviews held in Abuja which also favoured him because he is my fellow urobo man a deltan. As of that time, the second in command was a northerner.
Few months into his administration Prof sunny iyuke became the most desperate money hungry man of the year in Nigeria. He first brought his brothers and made all of them contractors and also have a 20% bargain with them in every contract. All contracts now doest go through due process and tender board. He awards contract to unknown people without company names and address and collect his 20%. That one is not OK for him, he started reducing the salaries of workers by drafting a different salary template outside what the federal government has as the salary template for the workers. He deducted some huge amount of money from the workers wages and claimed that NHIS took the money which NHIS denied knowledge of such money. He start to use personnel money to award contracts to his fellow cult members and collect his 20%, this is Virment and is 7years in prison.
All the original PTI contractors have been dumbed because they are not his fellow cult members and he recruit new unknown people as contractors. The worst is that he is still receiving salary from the university in South Africa thereby shuttling the two countries with staff and personnel money. He travels to South Africa at will and collect estacode. This is a man who has no single one room in the whole delta state, this was a man who has grown up children but only got wedded last year 2018.
Prof sunny is building a mansion greater than Iboris house, he has more than 5 buildings all over Nigeria including 3 houses in PH River state all this in 3 years.
This man does not have a bicycle before 2016 but lives in affluence now . He doesn't sponsor staff training any more, he will tell you to go to Abuja with your own money but he will travel to South Africa to teach his students using workers money. Nigerians, deltan and urobos must stand up to say no to Prof Sunny Iyuke.
Since 2017 no staff had received his promotion money and staff were promoted in 2017,2018 and 2019 without their promotion money being paid to them. Some staff allowances have been consume by Prof Sunny Iyuke. The former Minister of state for Petroleum have been covering his sins.
Union members have been blackmailed except the new union chairman now whom they want to intimidate. Prof sunny Iyuke must go before he kills PTI. PTI is not a polytechnic nor a university. PTI is a special training institute established in 1972 for Nigerian registration into OPEC and to produce skilled personnel for the oil and gas industry in Africa and which they have been doing very well till today .
