The worst rumour I have heard about myself was that dog story where it was alleged that I slept with a dog. It was so terrible that even the producer and director denied me. It got me thinking that what of if I was dead. If they had the mind to deny a living person, then, they can as well poison you. I took the producer to court because I served them court papers. We got the video and my mother said if these people can go to this extent to tarnish me, then they can do worse and she advised that I should just leave them. It was actually my mother that made me forget about the matter because my sister is a lawyer and she was working for Ricky Tafa, a law firm based in Abuja. She was ready to take up the case but my mum asked me to forget about it and I did.

Vigilant police caught the 20-year-old man from Guinea attempting to sneak into the Spanish enclave of Melilla from Morocco over the Beni-Enzar crossing on Friday. He was hidden inside a Renault 7′s passenger seat, with the co-driver sat on top of him.
The insides of the seat had been discarded, leaving only the frame which he slid into.
Guardia Civil officers had to help the man out of his hiding place, later describing his attempt to pass undetected as ‘unique and innovative’.
The two Moroccan men, aged 21 and 23, who allegedly tried to smuggle him across the border were arrested and will appear before a court accused of people smuggling later this week.

This is to notify you on this story that just got to me from my tribes man, whose brother is one of the dead boys. According to him, his brother worked with a Chinese company in Ikeja (name removed), and he worked at the factory sometime last week, and slept over. His where about could not be determined till the following evening, where his body and that of his friend were found inside the company's swimming pool with blood coming out of their ears, nostrils, and mouth.

To my best of knowledge (i lost a brother to the pool, i.e got drowned). When a human drowns blood does not come out from those places, what we suspect is foul play, perhaps they must have seen or heard something they were not supposed to see or hear, or perhaps the company is into shady deals.

Please I would like to let the country know about the ills of most of these companies, we know they have strong backups, more so this is just one case we know, the next may be someone close to you.

So, the Olympics in London is finally over and definitely medals were won. Unfortunately my beloved country which prides itself as the most populous black nation in the world could not produce a bronze not to talk less of silver. I was watching BBC few days ago and the BBC correspondent, Zainab Badawi was interviewing a sport reporter from Nigeria and in her words " well, the Olympics is almost coming to an end and we have seen that Nigeria hasn't won any medal even as the most populous country in Africa......." and for a moment I just blinked, in my mind I was like "shwu this woman don insult Nigeria naw naw naw oo" but on the other hand it was just a plain fact, out of 140million citizens, Nigeria could not produce one person to win a Bronze, and mind you, I said bronze, I didn't mention silver nor Gold, that one would have been absolutely impossible.

Ya, I understand that it's not just Nigeria that came home without a medal, countries like Ghana didn't even smell the field not to talk more of winning charcoal, but come to think of it Ghanian population is not even half that of Nigeria. The question now is, what went wrong? what is our excuse? must we carry last in everything? Must we always come first fifth in world records of corruption? must we always be number one in the bad things? what the hell is the sport minister/department doing in Nigeria? *shaking my head*

I call her the lady Gaga of Africa, the only difference is that her fans don't call themselves "little monsters" .Just describe lady gaga and you will find out that Goldie Harvely will heavy match your description. From her paper made clothes to her 8 inch shoes to the color of her makeup /dresses down to hmmm... should I say craziness? well they have a huge similarity there. I guess the similarities end there because Lady gag doesn't wear booty pads.......or does she? well, I guess Goldie's booty pad is so obvious! Its time to stop treating this crimes as domestic violence and start treating it like an attempted murder cases. There should be bills passed on this kind of assault. So many of this women reported to the police and many were sent back home to go and beg their husbands because it is a domestic case and they could do nothing about it. This should stop! in fact it has to be looked into.

To the families of these victims, Don't leave your sister or niece in such condition. Don't go telling her that divorce is not in the family etc. It is very important to call a family meeting in cases like this. Do not allow what the world will say to hold you back from saving you sister's life. Don't just sit in your house and watch! Do something!

I saw the picture on the left on Facebook yesterday while the one at the right I got from another blog. The woman at the right, had her finger cut by her husband who is a police man and he wasn't arrested for the crime. It is very obvious that these women has been badly beaten. Unfortunately, no information has been given about these women or their names.

There are so many of such cases every year but only very few or if any, are treated. To young ladies, before you get married, if your boyfriend raises his hand on you and hit you, you have to do a rethink about going further with such relationship because chances are that, if he did it once, he will do it again. Do not let the love you have for a man blind you from seeing reality. As for married women, Abeg if you are having domestic abuse run! be alive for your children. Don't wait till you look like one of these women. These are even the lucky ones, some are not even alive to tell their story. Its not by force to stay married to a beast! And don't for once think you deserve the beating because you don't.

And young ladies, if you have the chance at a young age to get education please do! the reason so many of this things happen is because many of our young ladies believe a man will just come and marry them and they will live happily ever after. Don't just get married to become a house wife! get a job, get something to do! Many women are unable to leave because they don't have the finances to support their self and their children if they leave their husbands house.

A Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service has been quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over a fresh N2bn fraud at the Police Pensions Office.
The man, who was arrested alongside seven directors, had served in the Police Pensions Office.
A member of the Pension Task Force told one of our correspondents that the Permanent Secretary’s office was searched and some incriminating documents were found.
Spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed on the telephone, that a Permanent Secretary and seven directors were arrested over the pensions scam. But he added that they had been given administrative bail.
He, however, refused to disclose the ministry and identity of the Permanent Secretary, saying that “investigations were still ongoing.”

Michael Jackson's entire back catalogue has been stolen by Internet hackers.
Sony music suffered its second major security breach in a year, with thieves targeting songs and unreleased material by the superstar singer. It's alleged they downloaded more than 50,000 music files worth $253 million in the biggest ever cyberattack on a music company.
The news comes just a year after Sony paid $395 million for the seven-year rights to the songs following Jacko's death.


The contract with Jackson's estate also allowed them to release 10 new albums, including material from studio sessions produced during the making of some of the star's biggest albums.

According to the victim, Lateefah: "“I was on my way to say my morning prayers at Tekunudeen Mosque, Aboru on Friday, December 30, 2011, when Olokode, who was hiding near the mosque, suddenly called my name. As I turned back, he poured a liquid substance on my face.
“The liquid went straight into my eyes and started burning my face. At that time, I didn’t know it was acid but I just realised that I couldn’t open my eyes because of the burning sensation I was having,


“When I started screaming, people around me confirmed it was acid because the substance consumed part of my veil.”
It was reported that the man, Alabi Olokode made advances to Lateefah Adesope who refused because she was in love with someone else. In desperation, he decided to pour acid on her.
Policemen attached to the Oke-odo Division were able to arrest Olokode on Sunday following a tip-off.
The suspect denied the allegations and said he was her boyfriend. He has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, and investigation is ongoing.
Am guessing this is a case of, 'if I don't have you, nobody will'
