Chadian authorities have recovered 1913 weapons from civilians.

The weapons include NSV, DShK and M2 heavy machine guns - anti-tank rocket launchers, Zastava M21, FN Fal and the usual AK pattern rifles.

There was a rumour in the early 2000's while growing up that there are villages in Niger and Chad that you can exchange a goat for AK47.

They were not ambush.

The bandits attacked the village the soldiers were protecting few days ago.

Is this same bandits that killed over 50 vigilante about 5 days ago in that village.

They knew security personnel were there, so they came in large number to attack

The security personnel were overwhelmed.

That's what i am saying soldiers are dying needlessly because of clustering in places they can't defend, I didn't mention any ambush in my post
