kabe1: There's a general lack of information, seems for operational reasons since this CAS came on board.
However the Alpha Jets are still in action, as we have seen, the Nigerian military has degraded Boko Haram and ISWAP so the intensity of action is not like a couple years ago.
The good news is the Nigerian government has paid for the engines of the M346F/A from America, so a replacement for the Alpha Jets is coming sooner than later.
I will post SIPRI's arms transfer report in the coming hours, there's nothing in it we don't already know, but still. Alright, i will be anticipating the SIPRI report |

Covert1: Interesting Article on the continuing process of Nigeria's Presidential Elections 2023 which has moved to the Presidential Elections Tribunal on who becomes Commander-in-Chief
More than 30 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) including A-list lawyers like Ikpeazu, SAN and many more signing up to join the legal team of Peter Obi as winner of the February 15th elections against the INEC declared unlawful and illegitimate highly unpopular Bola Ahmed Tinubu who we hear is still struggling to get A-list lawyers the likes of Olanipekun to defend his stolen elections. Justice must be done.

Shaytun: There’s no such thing as fair election.
This is Nigeria, All the parties involved Rigged in one way or another, unless you are just trying to bury your head in the sand . Yes every party RIGGED in their strong zones, let's just keep a blind eye on the South East where a certain Candidate got 90+ percentage, so we can be called wise and patriotic. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by GreenOris: 4:54pm On Mar 05, 2023 |
Shaytun: This is the important factor, people are forgetting that all parties have agent in the polling unit, who have a copy of result of that polling unit and send to their respective situations room.
The IREV portal is just a result viewing portal for Nigerians, it’s not used for collation of result by INEC.
The PDP didn’t raise alarm of IREV when the result collation started, they only raised alarm on Tuesday when they realized that they lost the election based on feed back from their situation room. The moment i saw Dino Orubebism i know we lost the election. Tinubu has bee scheming to become president long time ago, investing in every Geo political zone and arm of governments, so they have no option but to RIG everything to his favor now, if this was a free and fare election Atiku would have been the President elect presently. |

iblawi: For those shouting armed thugs didn't allow people vote. It is still on record that Lagos state for example have 13,535 polling unit and only 28 reported cases of destruptions and electoral Violence.
Kogi state is a major state that is known for electoral Violence but this time only 7 polling unit were affected and the results from the 7 units were cancelled out of thousands.
I don't know how anyone that went to School will see this as a major issue that will affect the outcome. Please remember the difference between the winner and the 2nd candidate is almost 2 million votes and the third almost 3 million votes. This here is the bitter truth, although my preferred candidate Atiku (the serial loser) like his Kenya friend failed, this election is the most peaceful, and let's not give up because all the 3 big parties have there agents in all pulling units so the must have copy of the results that they will present in court. The lesson here is that if you want to win election in Nigeria build alliance with even your enemies not calling people names and expect them to vote your candidate whose only achievement is that he saved millions for his state like he was voted to be an investor. |

Toju200: Military Jets Kill Wanted Boko Haram Commanders, Abu Ubaida, Yusuf Abba at Abandoned Warehouse
Aggressive bombardments by the Nigerian military in Shiroro, Niger State, have killed two wanted Boko Haram Commanders, Abu Ubaida and Mallam Yusuf Abba, PRNigeria reports.
They were neutralized together with about 40 of their footsoldiers at an abandoned warehouse in Kurebe, a popular community in Shiroro Local Government Area.
According to a defence intelligence operative, Abu Ubaida and Abba met their ‘gruesome end’ when airstrikes conducted by a Nigerian Air Force, NAF, aircraft attached to Operation Whirl Punch, raided their enclave, recently.
“It would be recalled that on 22 December 2022, a NAF aircraft struck a terrorists’ gathering at Kurebe in Shiroro LGA.
“Several Terrorists were killed, but it was unclear if any of the Terrorists’ Kingpins was killed eliminated in the air attacks.
“Consequently, after the said airstrike, preliminary investigations via exploitation of several sources revealed that there was underground in the warehouse where the terrorists run to hide whenever a NAF aircraft flies over the area.
“It was also revealed that the terrorists hibernate within the location and bikes seen at different occasions carrying fertilizers to the warehouse.
“These fertilizers are used by the terrorists to produce Improvised Explosive Device(s) (IEDs).
“Accordingly, NAF fighter jets were dispatched with the mission of ensuring total destruction of the warehouse and annihilation of the terrorists,” said the intelligence operative.
Air Commodore Wap Maigida, the NAF Spokesperson, confirmed the successful airstrikes, noting that their Air Component will continue to sustain the offensive operations against the Boko Haram elements.
He said that all NAF Operational Commanders, in keeping to the directive of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, are making sure that terrorists and collaborators are denied any breathing space. Good riddance, this group i think was responsible for the ambush of NSCDC personal last week, if it continues like this, these vermin's will think twice before attacking or anyone |

NTSA: Just wondering, how do Nigerian army maintain the various different MRAPs from different manufacturers. The average road side mechanic in Nigeria can repair at least two different brands of cars, talk less of the professionals in the NA. FYA most of the military MRAPS parts can be source in the civilian market. |
