Before Meyer left Schalke he was already bad market as he failed as an AM and was trying to be shoehorned into CM
A40:
He is playing further from goal at Palace than he was in his good years at Schalke

Anybody that had been following Max Meyer knows his career has nosedived since 2016/2017 season
Let's not dwell on this for so long. It doesn't make sense watching you two try to exculpate Bundesliga at every given opportunity.

Inasmuch as Bundesliga has produced great talents who are doing just fine in the EPL, it has relatively littered our league with mediocrity over the years.

We were all here when Boyata and Kolo Toure where getting first team action ahead of that nigga Boateng, cos the Ghanaian was crap. Liverpool were chilling with Mignolet until una carry that disaster Karius give them. As I type now, I'm not sure if Arsenal have forgiven Manyoo for that nigga Mkhitaryan - we all know he's one of your own.

Southampton never chop nine goals in their history, Hojbjerg arrived, collect captain band, the saints chop nine. As I type write now, Arsenal are hawking the 'unprofessional' Xhaka for black market.

When you two try to praise the Bundesliga for blessing us with KDB, Firmino and Sane, remember it had once cursed us with Boulahrouz, Pizzaro, Marko Marin and Kagawa.

Despite all these, we still recently, out of our magnanimity blessed your league with Sancho and Gnabry, yet you're not grateful.

Over the years, too many EPL flops have enjoyed success in your league, we just love to share with the less privileged, giving runs in our DNA. We all knew how a perennial relegation candidate like Blackburn would bless your league with Modeste and Di Santo, we love to give.

So let's leave it at that and let us not revisit this subject in the future. Ekaro!

Arsenal have their worst defensive record at this stage ever since EPL started.

Where is postdigger. He should help us dig the posts from David Luiz wailers in the first few weeks of the season.

God bless the day we sold that comedian.
It's far from a defensive problem, that team has no solid base. Ndidi, Youri, Maddison et al were just having a field day today.

There was nothing the defense could have done, they were never shielded well.

That said, Luiz is still good riddance.

I'm wondering if there's another Palace in EPL bar the one that has McArthur, Mili and Kouyate.

I knew something disastrous was brewing when we missed out on signing Tolisso.

It didn't take long before Bakayoko happened. The very day that transfer was made to Monaco's account was the day we had our chances of winning a silverware buried in the purgatory of 'HOPE'.

It is obvious even to my granny who knows nada about football that Bakayoko cant run a midfield. The last time we were seeing a Chelsea's game together, she kept complaining about the boy with a 'yellow head'.

Its an awful situation we are in, to have spent close to 80mil on average middle-men, when we could have landed decent lads for less figure.

Drinkwater can be taken in as a squad player, Bakayoko doesn't even qualify as one.

I was explaining to a pal weeks ago that Bakayoko's problems goes beyond being functional in midfield. The guy fails in almost every aspect of the game.

He doesn't have the great desire to have the ball at his feet and this is because he doesn't believe in his first touch and his ability to think through the game quickly - Psychological problem.

He doesn't have the innate ability to lead and connect with his teammates. Hardly do you see him charging his teammates to victory - Social problem.

He doesn't understand where his teammates are and when to make a quick transition - Tactical problem.

His touches are HARDLY quick, adventurous and accurate - Technical problem.

Despite standing over 6ft tall and possessing the body frame of his biggest fan, Nihilist, he still doesn't know how to shrug mates off the ball or even bully opposition players - Physical problem.

I am very sure the reason why he has a collection of hair sprays is because he is also battling some spiritual problems, most probably an ogbanje spirit.

The deed has been done already. We can take consolation in the fact that Loftus-Cheek is still out there receiving half of his wage from us. I am sure he'll dispatch the French scam from the starting XI anyday he is recalled.

Let us believe there is still hope for Chelsea.

It's abso-fvcking-lutely true, we even have Barkley in our midst now.

I am DEAD!

Really? He's supposed to light up the EPL from DM position? Or you think he plays the same position as Pulisic
Max is still an AM. Couple of shoehorning doesn't stop him from being an AM, even transfermarkt recognizes that fact.

He must live up to the hype that has always followed him and light up our league or take a long walk of shame back to your league.

Connection is clear enough, they're both coming from the almighty Bundesliga. So it's expected he lights up the EPL same way Pulisic is doing, that's following your logic anyway.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 1:18pm On Nov 09, 2019
I hope we handle whatever Palace throws at us today.

Kante is just making a comeback from injury and their have been some disturbing news about Mount nursing an ankle injury. Barkley and RLC are long term absentees, Jorginho is suspended, that leaves us with Kovacic as the only CM who's 100% fit.

Palace have some hard-working CMs who would definitely want to stop us from building play from our half and playing our football.

I hope we handle it.

Rudiger injured for another 3 weeks
Honestly, this is beginning to look like an elaborate plan.

Medic keep out Toni, let the younger favoured duo of Zouma and Tomori keep playing to find the perfect cohesion, they're the future face of Chelsea's defense.

It's not surprising that prior to the Watford game, Lampard was quick to dispel the claims made by Rudiger that he was fit to play.

Something is fishy with Toni's injuries.

Zouma has been solid for us these past few weeks. So integral to the team now.
I opined this last night, hoping to see what the stats will read after the game. Here you have it folks.

Question is, If you were Lampard, would you stick to the partnership of Kurt and Tomori which is already looking promising or would you rather replace one with the soon-to-be-fit and more experienced Rudiger?

The unsung hero in this setup is Jorginho. That ninja is our midfield metronome. Every single step and breathe of ours is masterminded by him.

The Italian enjoys the exclusive right to decide how we live and die.
