How did he find himself in such position? Was he flying? |
Ibime:Alonso has been troubled by a minor leg injury since August. The muscular discomfort has been getting worse over the last few weeks and there are concerns that he will need to be replaced by Ake. This is according to Evening Standard on Tuesday. |
lordfalcao:Does he need to train in your formation before you could say of a truth he's an upgrade on Cahill? Gary is a certified otu who could easily be dispatched by any defensively disciplined League One player. |
Ibime:Ake puts the U in utility and that can be seen clearly in Eddie Howe's decision to deploy him as a centre-back. Kid is a handful. I'll love to see him dispatch Cahill at the LCB. He's got all it takes to thrive in that position. Unlike Cahill, he is naturally left-footed, defensively disciplined and is comfortable with the ball in his feet. Ake is an upgrade on Cahill and that is a FACT. |
Ibime:Good POV but honestly the only chap I can wait upon ATM is Ake. I can not really trust Chalobah nor RLC against a decent side. Conte hopes to start Zouma in defence tomorrow, let's see how the rock fares. A sublime come-back performance could see us use Luiz in some other ways. Meanwhile, I heard Ake is on his way back from Bournemouth. How true is the report? |
Mikel and Oscar's departures has limited the number of CMs we have in this team and I think filling that void should be our top priority this winter. The numbers are very low in the middle of that damn park, just three established CMs and one isn't even considered a perfect fit for Conte's formation. An injury or suspension to two of the three ninjas would see us stroll into panic park. So who is available and ideal for us this window? Youri Tielemans of Anderlecht is one lad I think we should tempt with big rubbers. Kid is one hell of a CM and can always be trusted to do a yeoman job when called upon. IMO, he is an upgrade on Oscar and Mikel and his valuation shouldn't really scare us. £25-30m is okay enough to land this midfield schemer. I would love to read your views on this. |
donjazet:I don't give a flying fvck who the mofo is or where he is coming from. He should just stay off my lane. |
Brightwood:I'm pretty sure staying stupid gives you nocturnal 0rgasm. Scram and get off my face you purple homo. |
femi4:This one needs help. |
femi4:And the bullying was a product of miracle? Man check up the definition of formation on your dictionary abeg cos you sound funny already. |
spartacus11:Context please. My post-match reaction shades more light on how tactically shrewd Pochettino was last nite. I credit our loss to him simple. That said, I still uphold my view that the left-side of our defence is our weakest link. |
nateevs:True that, every side and every formation has its weakness but I'm only being an objective critic. There might be adverse effect of jettisoning Alonso over-night but I'm only looking at the future. He isn't meant for this league, that's all. Let's start weighing options in earnest is all I am saying. |
Nihilist:My take on Alonso's performance against City: Griffon:That left-side is our weakest link. If I am an opposition manager, I'll be flogging Chelsea on regular basis. |
It had to come to an end and I'm not really surprised. A 3-5-2 is a direct counter for the 3-4-3 formation and that was what the brilliant Pochettino rolled out. When I saw that formation, I knew there was serious gbege. Kane and Alli were instructed to occupy our CBs and the two did a good job of it. This actually restrained Moses and Alonso from travelling forward b'cos we needed to commit more numbers at the back. With little or no threat down the flanks, Rose and Walker had the luxury to keep marauding forward, delivering all sort of efficient services to their focal points and that actually payed off. We could have mounted a serious challenge in the game had it been we won the midfield battle, but alas, Matic and Kante were out-numbered and out-classed in the middle of the park by the trio of Erikson, Dembele and Wanyanma. It was a mixture of skill, strength, tenacity and numerical advantage. With our full-backs pegged back and our midfield stifled, one could easily understand why our attacking bands fired blanks. Thumbs up to Pochettino, he's my man of the match. Do I see this repeating itself? Well, I'll tell you for free, not every team can efficiently execute the instructions of a 3-5-2, dang, not every manager even understands how this formation works. In event we come up against a side that have three at the back and five in the midfield, Conte should act swiftly by switching to the same formation. That way, we can match them in every department and drag them to the cleaners. In conclusion, we've still got our nose in front in this damn race, so no need to throw in the towel now. It is only a reality check, one Conte must learn from. Like I would always say, the left-side of our backline is our weakest link, so I guess its high-time we talk about shoring up. We could use the winter transfer window. Don't panic blue army - Just KTBFFH! |
Are you ready boys? This ish feels like the UEFA Champions League final! |
One of the best home records takes on the division best away record – something will have to give this evening though. |
patrickmuf:Please tell, Is Antonio Valencia a footballer? |
patrickmuf:Pfft. Dude is way better than Antonio fvcking Valencia, a scumbag who somehow starts every game for manyoo. Honestly, I'll personally pay the chauffeur that would drive Antonio from Newham to Fulham road. This is what I've always wanted, a competition for Moses. I hope this deal pulls through. |
knightsTempler:Now this is fvcking funny. Lmao ![]() |
chrisley024:And who's eternally placed on 6th? |
I wished Liverpool would slip and it happened. Good job Moyes, good job. Can we go for the maximum pts at White Hart Lane? That would be a great way to start the year. |
Griffon:Yeah, it is 2017 and we are still on our grind. I really wish that margin was stretched a bit wider but boy, 6pts cushion no be beans. Such is the confidence Don Conte has instilled in these boys. They don't fvcking panic. Even when it seemed like we've ran outta gas, looking all jaded and running out of goals, a situation that had one badgeless mancurian sailor forecasting loom, we still bounced back and forwarded seven in two games. I think that might be it now though. I think I'll cash-out at 13 and take a draw against Spuds. Hoping Liverpool slips at the stadium of light. We are winning the title. |
What I can't see, is how a glorified slave like you will think yourself intelligent or brilliant just because you turned an atheist? ........................... You know he spells 'diss' as 'dies', must be Einstein's stuff ![]() |
Micheal Owen needs to take a big break from anything football related. As a pundit and a legend of the game, I expect him to hold top notch footie views but sadly, the man keeps doing a big disservice to punditry by only predicting outcome of matches and alas, his predictions has a way of going wrong every given time. Some footballers retire from the game and take to other endeavors. Owen should borrow a leaf and consider running a betting shop or something, cos it quite seems he is responding to a call. |
