lordfalcao:You all need to grow up and ditch these Fantasy Football punditry. No sane pundit sees Lacazette as an elite forward, I am only hearing that crap on a Nigerian forum. What qualifies him to be one? Right from the day Laca decided to go professional till 2013, he only managed to find the net 15 times in God knows how many seasons. He only started finishing the season on double figures from 2013/14. Is that how elite he is? The guy is 25-years-old and is on 91 career league goals. Lukaku who is two years younger has already found the net 109 times on the domestic scene. The former doesn't know what his national team jersey looks like, whilst the latter is trusted with the responsibility of goal-scoring in his team. I dont know about you, but i am really sure Lacazette is of the knowledge that where he's headed in life, a younger Lukaku has already gotten there. Lacazette ko Cassette ni. |
lordfalcao:Giroud plays for a top team, he must be an elite forward. Save me that logic. Lacazette puts the a in average. A player who cant find his way around the les bleus team where Giroud and Gignac are his closest competitions shouldn't be taken serious. To your question, you can mull over these names. Suarez, Higuan, Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Costa, Lukaku, Lewy, Griezmann, Aubameyang. Yes, there are elite forwards. |
"We think it will be a toss-up between Lukaku and Morata for Chelsea in the summer and we are placing Lukaku at the slightly longer odds of 11/10 for him to swap Goodison for Stamford Bridge.” - Betstars |
TheNonce:Way way average. Seen him play a hell lotta of time and there's nothing spectacular about him |
The folks at Tribal Football must be high on cheap crank. Are they living in the past or wah? Just check this headline out: Chelsea keeper Cech offers support to fractured skull victim Mason www.tribalfootball.com/articles/chelsea-keeper-cech-offers-support-to-fractured-skull-victim-mason-4167902?utm_source%3Dscoop-dragon%26utm_medium%3Drss-feed%26utm_campaign%3DFeed-Latest%2BArticles%2Bfor%2BChelsea Wo! In 2017? |
lordfalcao:You're absolutely right, Morata hasn't had that break-through season. Some section would argue that he isn't even a prolific striker but that isn't what i am looking at. If I was looking for a forward with an excellent track record of scoring goals, Lukaku would definitely be on top of my wishlist but that isn't really my concern. I am concerned with acquiring a young forward whose style of play matches with Conte's 'idea of football'. I also highlighted in my initial post why I think Morata is the perfect fit. I believe playing in a system that suits your style would always bring out the best in you and that should be the case with Morata. That said, I think Aubameyang would fit in well here too, but age and AFCON commitments are factors we must not overlook. |
dyabman:You're saying this 'cos you know Kelechi quite well. It's easy to look down on the boy's stellar performances just because he's Nigerian. If Iheanacho were to be an European or South American, Im pretty sure you, dyabman, would be rating him as the next big thing. Im pretty sure you would be clamouring for his acquisition. How many lads out there manages to put their predatory instincts to work within few minutes on the pitch? This boy is being given cameo roles yet he delivers. This boy has been up against an agbero like Baily and his likes yet he came out on top. He possesses a sharp movement the likes of Llorente, Icardi, Costa, Lukaku, Giroud, Carrol et al would envy. But then again, the naija mentality has it that he is just not good enough b'cos he is Nigerian. ......................................... In my opinion, If Costa leaves, we should just go get Morata. He isnt getting playing chances at Real, so that makes him a feasible option. His qualities aren't in doubt. His off the ball movement is good and I think he would do just great with us. Our current setup require forwards who never stands still after releasing a pass. That fluidity of movement is essential and is the primary reason opposition defenders find it tough to contain us. It is the natural interchanging of players and their positions, all moving in a virtual sychronised way and Morata is one guy who understands that. His finishing is good too, dude isn't goal shy. We have to put a lot of factors into consideration before going for that No9. Lukaku is good, yeah we know, but is he available for transfer? Does he possess the right techniques for our system? Icardi and Belotti are doing there business in Italy and haven't proven themselves anywhere. I'll have Morata for now. |
Funlordmaniac:Wetin this nigga commit wey make una dey slay am like these? |
Im only seeing a light-skinned back. |
airmark:It would interest you to know that Eden Hazard is the first player in Europe's top 5 leagues to complete 100+ take-ons this season. |
MarieSucre:This line of reasoning is too wack. Get rid of it already. What is the rationale behind taking pictures of the man that is sexually harassing you when you could have easily defended yourself from the assault in the first place? She was of the knowledge that she is being sexually harassed. She wasn't drugged, unconscious or asleep yet she never bothered to raise alarm or defend herself. In the law court, this changes the case to consensual sex b'cos from what went down, she was obviously giving consent to the man who was sexually harassing her. She doesn't have a case, neither do you have a defense. |
Chelseafan1:Geremi Njitap and Etoo were once Chelsea players ![]() |
Guys not to worry, no one is gonna know what that ex looks like. We are safe! |
PietroRico:I am not pushing for the puskas with that, I dont even rate the goal that much. Hazard have Arsenal's poor organisation to thank for that run, there was a lot of space for him to exploit and few men to beat. I am only trying to shoot down your Henry's Jupiler league solo goals' comparison. |
omenkaLives:Only a matter of time, then your wishes would mean nothing. |
Fighting bloody for osho? These guys' images are chilling in some huts in their respective villages. Useless two! |
PietroRico:Not to join the Hazard fanboys but the Belgium Jupiler league is nothing close to the EPL. It would require sheer brilliance and genius to score that sort of solo goal in England and against a team like Arsenal. We dont get to see such goals in this country every week 'cos of the league's physicality. Drive my homie, Metu, to the Jupiler league and watch him score solo goals for fun against the likes of Eupen, Westerlo and Liege. |
Benita27:So which matters most; shielding your virtue or exposing a pervert? Would you rather take pictures of when you're being r@ped or fight for safety? |
DeBlessedOne:Your POD must be in Isinneochi or Bende. Dope dudes are seen everyday in Aba and Umuahia, and you're not even close to their class. Advert gone wrong! |
Elnino4ladies:Maybe cos he wasnt on the field of play in the first place. |
raumdeuter:Sometimes I wonder how you see games, moreso, how you think. You postulated days ago that Kun isnt a modern day forward and I deliberately ignored you. I honestly didn't see the need to argue a weak assumption that is bereft of fact. This is a ninja who before getting frozen out has found the net 11 times in 14 games in the EPL, 3 times in 4 UCL games and once in the one FA Cup game he featured this season. This is one ninja who has scored 113 goals in 168 apps. The most lethal striker since the league kicked off in 1992, given that he has scored a goal every 107.7 minutes in the PL, way ahead of his nearest challenger Thierry Henry. Yet he somehow isn't a modern day forward abi? Well done sir. I am sure you expect him to hire Hamilton's wheels and get to chase down defenders before you get to see the light. Now to your latest misyarn, pls tell, how is clinical finishing Kun's only strength? We're talking about a player who can efficiently hold up play and link up play with his teammates. We're talking about one of the best dribbles around. How is he a liability without his finishing? |
Don Conte really needs to curtail his jig of delight. Its because he's in Europe though. If he tries that crowd surfing for Aba eh, boys go just corner his wallet, Italian suit and even loose en belt all within seconds ![]() Wetin en go wear return for bench na just inner-wear and singlet. |
Nihilist:Its been like 3-4years now. I actually asked if y'all considered Costa as a franchise striker. Dude was battling injuries and some mental issues then. |
My homies no get chill oo. Dem just dey vex sake of say Arsenal pull one back ![]() |
Hehehe. Cech with an assist there. Once a blue, always a blue. |
Good subs Don. |
Courtois you fit come date my babe small? |
Bring on Cesc and give Pedro a rest. Switch to 3-5-2 and fvcking dominate play. |
This useless team get mind score three against me last year. Dem go hear am today. |
